The view was breathtaking and the property as a whole was well kept and beautiful.

Our suite did not have air conditioning and summers here are hot. We were given 2 small fans for a 3 bedroom apartment. There are also a lot of mosquitos so it’s not ideal to leave the windows open for airflow overnight. It made for a difficult night’s sleep.

Nice place, very close to Amalfi and Positano. There was everything you need for stay. Pool was an extra attraction

Some fitness to be done every day if you want to visit the closest village- 300 steps one way 😉

It was a magical place with an amazing view. It was pretty close to Amalfi (20 min walk) so it was perfect for reach the ferries. Our host was really friendly and helpful. Best vacation and place I have ever had.

We had to climb many stairs to get to Atrani so I don’t recommend it for elderly guests.

The most amazing location and spectacular view I think I’ve ever had. The villa was very nice as was the pool, a very beautiful place to stay.

Only issue was access via lots of steps (approx 400) down into town. Not an issue for me and my wife but having our young kids and my mother with us made it a little awkward as taxis are extremely expensive.

The location was awesome and we loved the Terrace and the view. The building and grounds were lovely and well kept Luciano was very helpful and prompt in responding This location was quiet and compared to Amalfi and Positano much more relaxing Would recommend hiring a scooter to get around from this location

The bed configuration there need to be at least double beds in the main two rooms not singles or at least king singles that fit together There were no routine supplies that we had in all of the other facilities. ie coffee, Oil, cling wraps salt and pepper etc Needed another remote for the gate there was only one was supplied and we had 3 couples coming and going

The view is absolutely gorgeous!

There was not much to the property on the inside other than basic furniture. When we’ve stayed at other non-hotel locations, they would offer some basic provisions (ie, cooking items, snacks, bathroom essentials, games, etc). The location is a challenge to get to by foot and car, so it was not easy to get items and bring it back to the property.

Our host was really nice and kind. If you need something you can ask and they are really helpful. Luciano is speaking a great English, and gives you hints to improve your journey. The apartment is placed not that far from Atrani, Ravello, Amalfi. You can go everywhere by feet. Also, the view from our window was absolutely breathtaking! Worthy the 400 steps up the hill :) - please, wear comfortable shoes! We had free access to the pool, a pleasant extra during our stay. We really enjoyed our time at Villa Rosa!

No oil nor salt in the kitchen. Honestly I think it's unfair to not have these things already in the kitchen, especially if you are staying not that long.

Beautiful villa with stunning view on atrani. Staff was very friendly and helpful! Atrani town is very quaint and friendly. Great cafes for a quick bite and la palma restaurant had amazing food. Walkable for us (26 yr old couple) to amalfi (if you dont mind the stairs). Amalfi had much more restaurants and shops. Served as a great base point to ferry to positano and capri. Wish we would have made it to ravello while staying here… next time!

Youve got to climb alot of stairs for Thats beautiful view. Although there is a public bus that drops you off at the top of villa rosa. This apartment was smoking friendly.. we are non smokers, but it did bother us too much

There are a lot of stairs, you really need a car or scooter. We once went walking downstairs to the little village named Atrani and never again. The bed is not so comfortable. All the furniture is old fashioned, not very cozy.

If you are like us and are unfamiliar with the Amalfi Coast, then Atrani is the town for you. It is a traditional Italian town which feels untouched by the tourism in neighbouring towns. You can easily walk to Amalfi through a tunnel in the cliff which takes about 5 minutes from Atrani centre. Here you will find bus terminals and ferry ports taking you all over. Residence Villa Rosa was the perfect base for us for our 5 night trip. Our room had everything we needed and the most spectacular view I’ve seen in my lifetime. Luciano, the owner, could not have been more helpful. He organised a driver to collect us from the airport and met us when we arrived. He ran through everything and told us to contact him on WhatsApp for anything we needed. He was also always at hand on the property if we needed anything. Luciano also arranged for a scooter to be delivered to us on one of the days which we had for 24 hours. The property also has a fabulous pool which is great to refresh after the climb up the stairs. I would recommend this property to any friends going to the Amalfi coast.

The steps to the property from the main square in Atrani amount to over 300 and are white tough. However, they are worth it for the accommodation awaiting you at the top. I would recommend getting a taxi to Villa Rosa as they will come at the property from the road above and can drive you down. Otherwise, if you get the bus to Atrani, you will be forced to carry your luggage up the steps. We carried them down when we were leaving which was treacherous enough!
