My family and I thorough enjoyed this spacious, clean and well furnished home. The elevator definitely came in handy with luggage transport and especially for mom who has difficulty with stairs.

We loved this clean, well-kept home and the memories we made there. Being nature lovers, we especially enjoyed watching a fox around the marsh, all of the herons, and the spectacular sunrises and sunsets. There was plenty of space for our family group of 12 to eat, play games, and just have fun being together.

Our stay was wonderful. This beautiful house is much larger than even the photos show. It felt like we were on an island, paddle boarding and kayaking in the marsh and walking a short distance to the beach. Plenty of space for our family of eight. We especially loved being together on the back porch, listening to all the birds. What a great marsh view! Planning our vacation and communicating with the owners was incredibly easy. They truly worked around our schedule to accommodate us.

My family had an amazing time, the home was very spacious with amazing views(just as beautiful as shown in the pictures). I gave this property a 5 because the home is amazing however, there was a strong mildew smell in the house and the vents in the ceiling had condensation. This may have been caused by the heat wave that came through the East Coast, not sure. But anyway the smell did fade some during our stay. Everyone enjoyed themselves and suggested we return during the holidays. Amazing floor plan with amazing views!!

If you are looking for a place where your whole family can experience a family vacation - with all the comforts of home, then this is the place for you. We loved all the unique porch spaces, and the views. Especially loved the screened sun room and the roof top sunset space. We spent one whole evening playing games in the garage! Plenty to do, in this beautiful location (close to State Park and pristine local beaches). You won't be disappointed!

The house is spacious and well equipped. It was perfect for our family of 14. Right across from the saltwater pool and a short walk to the beach. We had great weather and made some great memories. Jason is a great host - easy to get a hold of when we had questions and was nothing but kind and gracious. We can't wait to come back!

We have been coming to Bethany Beach for over 60 years. As a grandmother, with my adult children, living in different States, I still want my family to experience a week together in Bethany. This home is a wonderful place for just that! There was plenty of space so we all could spread out. We love the fact that it isn’t jammed in between homes. Also it is such a pleasure getting to experience the more natural setting of this home. The owners were wonderful to work with and genuinely seemed to care about the quality of the home. I would highly recommend this home.

Our stay in this beautiful home was so enjoyable! This was a family trip with three generations getting together. Jason went above and beyond as a host to make our stay perfect. We all agreed we’d stay here again anytime! The elevator was a huge help, especially for mom/grandma who doesn’t do stairs well. The sturdy wooden stool in the master was also helpful for her. There was plenty of room in the house for spreading out and also for gathering together. The kitchen was perfect for multiple people to work together making meals. One of our favorite spaces ended up being the sun room off the kitchen. We enjoyed the peacefulness and beauty of the community. It was nice to be at the beach without the noise and traffic of the Delaware beach towns. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Very happy I chose this home for a long weekend with friends. From start to finish, the owner was extremely responsive. This home is exactly as advertised, and more importantly, as pictured. There’s a ton of space, plenty of bathrooms and the many decks make the views and sunsets, spectacular . Our favorite was the rooftop, as well as the sun porch, after dark. The home was also squeaky clean. If the stars align, we’ll definitely be back next year.

I seriously can not put into words how amazing this house is. Six couples, and still so much room. The host was very responsive and the house very clean. Just a perfect entertaining space! I recommend this place 1000 %. We will definitely be making our yearly couples trip here everytime.

We had a great weekend in this home. My wife and I and her sister and husband got together for a visit. Home was as advertised. Clean, plenty of room and well appointed. Elevator was a great help as we are all older an and it made getting in and out very easy. Jason the owner was very accessible and helpful. Would stay here again.

We rented this large home for a Thanksgiving celebration. We could not have asked for better accommodations. The homeowner was courteous and quick to answer all questions. The home is in a gated community with easy access to fishing, the beach, and local cities like Bethany Beach and Rehoboth. While we went for Thanksgiving and activities at the beach were limited, this would be a prime spot in the summertime with so much to enjoy beachside just a short walk away. The home is very well appointed with plenty of room for everyone in your group. Room after room of sitting areas, beds, dens, etc. Just a fantastic experience from top to bottom. Would love to return.

This house fit our group of 7 adults and 3 children (3 and under) very well. The bed rooms and bathroom layout gave plenty of private space, while the shared areas were large and comfortable for our group. The community pool was right across the driveway. The commute to the beach is the only downside, but it is clearly communicated in the listing. The photos on the listing are very accurate but the space is even more beautiful and inviting in person.

We had a great stay at Indian River Retreat! Perfect house for a big group with a lot of space to spread out. We loved the indoor and outdoor spaces and how close it is to beach and Big Chill Beach Club. We hope to come back next year!

The property is beautiful, the whole process was super easy, it was great that they had extra beach chairs and umbrellas, everything you need. Would highly recommend.

This property was an amazing house for our big family. Every bedroom having a bathroom was a huge plus! The open area with the kitchen and living room was where everyone spent a lot of time together. We went to the beach everyday and also used the pool across the street! The views from the house were amazing, we saw turtles in the water, herons and even a fox one day. I would recommend renting this house!

We had a terrific time. This house was perfect for our needs and family size. The beach is an easy half mile walk, but keep that in mind if you have folks who can’t walk easily. The views were great. Neighborhood is quiet and clean. Overall, it’s a great spot.

My family chose this phenomenal property to celebrate my 30th birthday. Kudos to my mom-in-law for such an awesome choice! Everyone enjoyed our time there, from the children to the adults. My MIL was in awe of the kitchen and made the most unforgettable ‘fine dining’ birthday dinner for me and the family. The views from the house were breathtaking from I’m sunrise to sunset. Very good house and host.

After an incredibly busy fall and early winter photography season, I booked this spot to get away for some rest, relaxation, time to visit friends, and time get some work in, too, away from the distractions of home. I am a self confessed rental house snob and I searched and searched before I chose this one. The property had to be bright, airy, surrounded by water, immaculate, gorgeously decorated, and have great views. Check, check, checkity-check. I could not have been more pleased. From the start, Jason was fantastic about communication. The welcome guide he sent went over every little thing I'd need to know about the house - what I'd need to bring and what was provided, as well as where to find things. During my stay, there was a blizzard, and Jason was quick to make sure the driveway and steps were plowed and that I was okay. While there, I made good use of the office - setting up a work station where I could edit photos, design and hold Zoom meetings with clients. It was the perfect, bright, cozy place to do so. When friends came to visit, there was ample space work together in the kitchen, chat around the dining table in comfy chairs, or hang out in the beautiful living room. They each could have their own, well-appointed room with a bathroom, too - a treat for a group of moms who rarely get time to be alone. Since it was winter, and quite cold during my visit, I did not get a chance to use the outdoor spaces, but could certainly see myself spending quite a bit of time on the rooftop deck in warmer months. The views up there are phenomenal. The sunsets, even from inside the house were spectacular and I also enjoyed watching the ducks and blue heron on the pond. Oh, and I can't forget the elevator. It's SO handy for shuttling luggage and gear in and out. Thank you, Jason and family, for creating such a wonderful home and experience to share with your renters.
