Location was excellent - basically at the harbor from which Saimaa cruise ships were leaving. Staff was also very helpful. Good breakfast

Price was ridiculously high for what hotel was offering - rooms were worn, furniture was straight out of 1980s , there was no air condition in the room and you could open only tiny part of window. Fan which was provided did not offer too much relief as there was no fresh air coming to the room. Generally hugely overpriced - I do understand Savonlinna is popular holiday destination but hey 160eur for room without airco and old furniture is simply a joke. There was not even complimentary bottle of water - we had to get one from reception @ 4€ a bottle. I strongly DO NOT recommend this hotel.

Bathroom was a bit messy.

The staff was very friendly. The breakfast was plentifull, even I suspect it remains exactly the same each day (I ate there twice). The location is suberb and even it is in the main square it is quiet.

The price of 65€/night is definitely the tops I would pay for this. Everything is outdated & yet to be updated. The room got very hot as it lacks aircooling.
