Really great staff, really good location and the room and facilities were great. Staff were attentive and friendly and the breakfast hampers were brilliant.

The shower was a little bit tricky as it only seemed to have one temperature setting but otherwise it was great.

Impeccable, great little family-run hotel. Lovely breakfast. Comfortable, super clean & well kept. Super central location.

Great location comfortable bed superb breakfast

Breakfast was good and always on time. Light but adequate to begin the day.

Not much. The street can be a little noisy when you need to open a window, but we slept well.

Bedroom was well presented and liked the lounge area for the space it provided. Excellent location.

Only minor was breakfast options, it was ok but probably like the option not to have it. Especially as you are in the centre and there are so many options

Good location and the breakfast with the use of kitchen facilities was a mice touch.

Noise from outside our room could be intrusive at times, however this was pointed out prior to our stay so just part of the hotels character. Very squeaky bathroom door which at night other rooms would have heard too.

Hamper breakfast was delicious, loved the warm croissants. Great location close to town centre.

Earlier breakfast would have suited us better. Parking was a bit problematic as I had to go and move the car a couple of times to avoid a fine.

Lovingly decorated room and an incredibly comfortable bed. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and we loved the morning breakfast hampers. And to top it off, only a few minutes walk from the beach.

Perfect, comfortable, clean and cosy base for exploring the marvellous town and the surrounding area. Great central location and connections to local buses and train station. Friendly and helpful staff!

Excellent rooms, decor and delicious breakfast hampers (very nice surprise), and great self-service kitchen facilities. Really nice to be autonomous and have everything provided.

The Booking.com confirmation says the door code is 7765, however this is incorrect. So when we arrived we entered that code and had to call for help when it didn’t work. We were met with a slightly rude welcome when the owner blamed us for getting it wrong, and told us we must be at the wrong hotel; even though I showed him the incorrect code displayed on HIS hotel’s booking page. No apology either; he just told us the correct door code and looked at us rudely as if we were causing all hell to break loose - just because we needed assistance with the incorrect door code. This wasn’t even an unacceptable hour to ask for help checking-in, it was 6.30pm. We didn’t expect it to be a ‘hassle’ to help guests to check-in. But once all this was resolved, we didn’t need to interact with a member of staff again all weekend and the stay was superb. The rooms are lovely and the atmosphere is very pleasant.
