The rental is just lovely and well furnished. The property is compromised of several buildings. The overall property was a bit larger than I expected but it has 24 hour security which is nice. We wish the Cafe and pool bar had been open as those were selling points for us and would have made our stay more enjoyable. The hosts Michelle and Jake were amazing and helpful!! Thank you for having such a well kept and cozy home for our vacation! Michelle and Family

The condo was very nice with an ocean view. The grounds were great. Spent a day relaxing on the little private beach. Owners were very easy to communicate with and quick to respond.

The place had a pool concession and a marina cafe which was closed due to contract discussions, otherwise loved the place

Loved the property- very clean. Beach was nice and pool was great. The pool is very large and even though there were always a lot of people there it never felt crowded. Would definitely stay again.

This is a beautiful condo unit with an unbeatable view! Everything was very clean and comfortable. The furnishings are beautiful. The kitchen has everything you need. Comfortable beds. Very nice bathrooms with a walk in shower in the master. The TVs are big and new. It’s conveniently located between Key Largo and Islamorada. Don’t miss going to Theater of the Sea in Islamorada! It’s top notch entertainment! We loved Sharkey’s in Key Largo. The owners of this condo are great to work with. The swimming pool is great and is heated. It’s very busy this time of year. The beach area with pier is quite pleasant. The only thing we wished for was a larger deck space but we would definitely stay here again.

Castaway Key is a hidden gem. Centrally located to enjoy activities in the area. Condo was furnished with everything we needed. Views from the condo we heavenly. Would stay again.

We enjoyed 4 nights at Castaway Key. The condo is nicely decorated and has many amenities available including water views from the master and two balconies. The kitchen is well equipped with plenty of dishes and silverware. Coffee pot or keurig is available and it was nice they provided washing machine pods as well as dishwasher pods. The property has a community pool which was nice with plenty of chairs though unfortunately our weather was chilly and gray. We would recommended this property if you enjoy the Tavernier area of the Florida keys. The hosts were very responsive when we contacted them.

My family and I recently had the most unforgettable vacation in the Keys, and it's all thanks to Jake and Michelle for providing us with the perfect VRBO accommodation. From start to finish, they went above and beyond to ensure our stay was nothing short of amazing! First and foremost, the condo was beautiful. The moment we stepped inside, we were greeted by a beautifully decorated and immaculate space that instantly felt like home. The amenities provided made our stay incredibly comfortable, and we lacked nothing during our time there. The views from the property were breathtaking and the location is close to amazing restaurants. Definitely try Mile Marker 88! One of the highlights of our trip was the fact that we could dock our boat right at the property. Jake and Michelle were kind enough to provide us with all the necessary information and guidance to ensure smooth boat docking and hassle-free access to the water. Honestly, what truly set this experience apart was the exceptional hospitality of Jake and Michelle. We can’t wait to return!

This condo has amazing views, is just as described, and provided easy access to the small beach on property and the marina. It was perfect for a family of 4 (including 2 teens). There is a pier which proves a space for shade and a nice breeze. Plenty of chairs on the beach. The cafe on property is currently closed for renovations, but there was a pizza truck. Pool is nice as well, with a bartender.

My wife and I stayed three nights recently and we were so glad we chose Castaway Key! Great location, both in the area and on the property, with fantastic amenities and views. The communications were also perfect. We'll definitely look to book Castaway Key again next time we visit the area.

The perfect space for two couples! Amazing views and conveniently located between Key Largo and Islamorada. The condo was nicely decorated, clean, and had everything we needed for a long weekend getaway for a friend's wedding. The hosts were wonderful and checked in to make sure we were enjoying our stay. I would come back again and will recommend this property and these hosts to anyone interested in a trip to the Keys!

Beautiful clean condo and terrific ocean views. We checked in late because of a delayed flight but it was still easy and seamless to get our parking pass. We had quick access to shopping and restaurants. We loved being in the Upper Keys so we could go north to the Everglades or south to beaches and other sights. There was a large, very nice pool and hot tub on-site. The pizza food truck was a fun addition. Landscaping was pretty and the entire property was clean. The condo itself had some great extras. We used the beach wagon and cooler several times. I’ve never slept so well on a vacation, great bed! The condo was a bit tight for a family of 5 using the sofa bed but it worked. We just put the sofa bed away every morning. There was some maintenance and painting ongoing. The hosts did notify us, which we appreciated. They were very easy to communicate with. It was inconvenient for that day to have the elevator out of service mostly because our son uses a manual wheelchair. (The condo was zero-entry with elevator access and a low tub in the bathroom.) However no elevator the morning after arrival meant we carried him and all our groceries 3 floors. Not ideal, but manageable. Heads up, you need to wash/dry your own beach towels upon departure. It was a surprise to us this morning when reviewing checkout requirements. We would recommend Castaway Key based on quality, affordability, and overall incredible value.

The condo was well appointed, the views were amazing! We spent our mornings and evenings on the decks. It was a perfect size for our family of three. Highly recommend!

It was a perfect place for a vacation. The condo itself had everything you needed. It was super clean and had wonderful views. The property was in a centralized area with a beautiful pool area that has hours between 8 am and 11 pm. The beach area was bigger than anticipated with ample lounge chairs. The views are hard to beat. Next Keys visit, I will be looking to stay here again.

The condo and views were beautiful. We had a lovely time exploring out by the marina tons of wildlife in the water. Great location to get to everything easily. Our hosts were very informative and quick to answer.

My daughter and I stayed at Castaway Keys last week. It was a wonderful location. Amazing views of ocean and conservation area in front of condo facing the ocean gave us many beautiful birds to watch. Pelicans, frigates, great white herons, ospreys and many more. We enjoyed having our morning coffee on the deck watching the birds. Sunrises were beautiful. The condo was clean, nicely decorated, equipped with everything we needed. Owners were reachable and took care of a blind that wouldn’t work. Someone was there in 15 minutes and fixed it quickly. They checked on us during the week as well. We enjoyed the beach and pool, daily tropical drinks to enjoy. On our last day we saw and manatee and her baby in the boat marina. It was amazing. We had been looking for manatees all week and saw one right where we stayed. People were friendly and the staff took dood care of the property and gardens, even raking the seaweed by the beach every day. The location was near everything we wanted to do. Farmers market, grocery stores and restaurants are minutes away. We highly recommend this property if you want a quiet vacation with beautiful views of the ocean. We recommend Snooks Restaurant and Lazy Days. Lots of fun and delicious food. The fish tacos at Snooks are delicious. Also recommend Key Largo Fisheries if you want to buy fresh fish right off the dock and cook it at the condo, or eat at their cafe outdoors.

We found our way to the property with no issues and were greeted with a very clean smell. The views were wonderful, especially sunrise. The beds slept well and we had plenty of room for our two couples. Will definitely consider staying here again if we return to the keys.

Condo is well maintained, very clean, and everything in great condition. Beds very comfortable and kitchen well stocked with everything we needed with good quality dishes, utensils,and pans. Views from balcony are amazing. Owners definitely take pride in their property. Would highly recommend as a place to stay.

Beautiful views, perfect location, and the condo was clean, comfortable, and quiet! We loved our stay here. The space was perfect for 2 couples and had all the comforts of home. The complex never seemed too busy (even the wonderful pool area) and was centrally located between Key Largo and Islamorada. We would definitely stay here again!
