De ligging is perfect tov verdun , lekker ontbijt, gigantische douche, lekker rustig, hele fijne gastvrouw

De trappen en geen airco

Beautiful house in superb surroundings- wooden floors tastefully decorated - large rooms ,excellent en-suite shower- very friendly family owners ( offered free laundry services)

Only that twin beds were not available on our visit only double

I stayed here for my visit of Verdun Memorial. The small villa is a bit outside the city center, 5min by foot, which I very much liked as the city center was a fairly touristic so the Maison Mirabeau provides a great calm atmosphere right next to it. The owner is very nice, it is a real French house not a standard hotel but rooms are excellent with very modern bathroom and privacy as in a normal hotel. Couldn't have wished for more during my stay.

A small hotel run in more of a B&B style situated within five minutes walk of the river and cafe scene. The hotel has private parking off the road. The breakfast is continental style with many jams and preserves produced locally. Our room was clean, compfortable and of good size with a separate bathroom with an excellent shower. The host is very accommodating. There are losts of book, maps and leaflets about tVerdun and its WWi history to plan your excursions.

Very little. The hotel offers good value for money and is close to the centre of Verdun.

Great location and host.

La Maison Mirabeau was absolutely the best place that we stayed all week, and now pretty much the only place in Verdun that I would consider for a future visit. The house is lovely and set back from the main road (which makes it tricky to find the first time). We were met by the owner who was immediately friendly and welcoming and provided a nice spot to park our motorbikes, out of the sun. There are only three rooms. The entrance at the front leads to a well presented lobby, with the breakfast room and a sitting room to the right. Stairs lead up to the three guest rooms. The rooms are really nice. Lovely comfortable bed. Spacious bathroom. All well presented and perfectly clean. It was a hot day and a cold bottle of water was waiting in the room. The whole decor of the place is what I can only describe as "quirky", and I absolutely loved it. Breakfast was delicious. On the second evening we were treated with a cold bottle of beer while sat outside before we went into town for dinner. The real key to the success of this place is the guests, who were just amazing for our two night stay. I certainly hope to return one day.

It was pretty much impossible to not flood the bathroom when showering due to the the three sided design of the shower. Lots of towels needed to soak up the water.
