The house was beautiful and perfect!! The views are amazing. Many rentals are lacking in kitchen equipment, this one was so well stocked!! Owner answered all questions and responded quickly. We hope to visit there again the future.

I brought 20 women to enjoy a relaxing retreat and everyone was thoroughly impressed. There were a lot of stairs but the dumbwaiter was super helpful for moving things from each floor to another. The views are incredible and everything was beautiful.

Took our yearly retreat of homeschooling moms and rented this house. Had a wonderful time and the interaction with the people manager was prompt and helpful. Everything about the house was as advertised and we were all very pleased with the experience!

The size of the house and location was perfect! I had10-12 guys down at the beach to help celebrate my birthday and had a great weekend. Views of the beach from the kitchen area and back deck were awesome. Owner was great to work with and would definitely recommend this property for birthdays or family get togethers.

Beautiful home in a good location. The home was very well appointed with everything we needed and more. Communication with the owner went above any other rental we’ve had. Comfortable set up for a large group of friends. The pass thru to the other side was very convenient - the beach chairs on the decks were all fairly new and very comfortable . Lots of extra chairs for the beach and games for the kids. The dumbwaiter made it easy to bring our things inside- there are a lot of steps so take advantage of it! All in all one of the best homes our large group has rented at the beach. Thank you for our stay we all enjoyed it !

We had 3 generations of family staying here for Thanksgiving and had the best time!! The weather was perfect and communication with the owner was wonderful! House is very well stocked with everything you might need!

We used the house as a vacation spot but my wife and I also got married right outside the house on the beach. Couldn’t have asked for a better set up and location, house was amazing.

This house was absolutely amazing, and everything we wanted and more. My now husband and friends stayed at the property for my intimate wedding, and the rest of the week on the beach. We had the best time on the pretty private beach, and the house was absolutely gorgeous. Our hardest decision was which side of the house to stay on, as we rented both! We wish we had another week to stay. We enjoyed everything the house had to offer and more! Great communication with owner and a perfect stay! And definitely get a workout in with all the stairs in this beautiful mansion!!

We had a wonderful stay. The house was well equipped and the beach beautiful. My only caution is that if you have elderly or otherwise less mobile family members, the number of steps might cause some difficulty. Great Stay...Great Place!

My husband and I live away from family and wanted to have a wedding where we could have a vacation with them as well. This home was perfect! David was super helpful. The family loved the home and the location. They even got to see dolphins from the kitchen two days in a row! We were able to share our love for Carolina beaches with everyone.

We rented this house for our family to stay and to host our wedding. It was a great venue for a one-stop event. We had our rehearsal, wedding and reception at the house. Everyone was able to stay together. One nice touch, unlike other houses, beach towels and linens were provided. The Owners were very nice and easy to deal with. We had a great week in the house.

Renting this house was super easy through VRBO and the owners! The owners are great to work with and the home is absolutely beautiful with breathtaking views of the ocean! It was the perfect setting for our wedding!

The kitchen is so well stocked with dishes, bowls, utensils, pots and pans. The house is spacious and there was ample room for our large group. The interior layout of the house is just so well thought out, as there are balconies or decks off of most all the rooms. Paulette (the owner) was so nice and accommodating. She was an absolute delight to work with and made sure our stay was a memorable one. We loved it!! My family is already making plans to return in 2020!

OMG!!!!! Words can’t even express the AMAZING time my family had at this beautiful beach house. Very clean and very well accommodating for everything we needed. Very spacious. If I had a flaw with the house it would just be the fact that it didn’t have a elevator for the older family members. But we would definitely stay at this house again. Thanks so much......

Our extended family had a fantastic time in this house. Thanks to the hurricane we had two days of rainy weather, but the house is divided into two separate homes. Everyone had plenty of room to come together for games and socializing, but also had plenty of space to have downtime and quiet. Importantly (at least for our family) almost every bedroom has a deck and a view of the ocean (no disputes about who gets which room). The owners are very easy to work with and provide plenty of beach chairs and beach towels.

I'm not sure where to even begin, from the very beginning Paulette was extremely easy to work with and very responsive to all my questions. My husbands family had been going to Topsail Island for at least 25 years so we are very familiar with the area and have stayed all over the island. We had 26 people and rented both sides of this property. We loved that they were connected at both the front and back. It made it super easy when we wanted to all be together. The house was very clean and the kitchen had everything we needed. We loved the amount of common area space we had and that there were TV's in most of the rooms. The beach was fantastic and we found some really neat shells that we've typically never found on this island before. The grocery store is only 5 minutes away which is VERY convenient. The weather was perfect and we would recommend this property to anyone. I highly recommend for a large groups!

This home is the place of many fond memories for my family. My first step inside of this beautifully crafted home, it was very clear that it was designed with comfort, relaxation and elegance. The views are incredible from every room, the kitchen layout is perfect for entertaining any size family and the location is prime. I felt at home and the second I sat down my stress melted away. We are already planning our next trip back and cannot wait to be on the beach seeing the dolphins again!! If you're looking for a magnificent place to stay where you can create lasting memories and unwind from your daily grind, look no further!!

Our family celebrated Thanksgiving and a family reunion at this property. It was absolutely fabulous! The house was big enough to handle our large crowd of 34 people. It was roomy, comfortable, very well equipped, and wonderfully decorated. Everyone loved the views and the location. The weather was perfect and we all got to enjoy walks on the beach, shell collection, and playing in the surf on the warm days. We could not have asked for a more perfect Thanksgiving. The week was the most perfect time our family has had at a reunion. One of the great-nephews told me that this was the greatest time of his life. And we owe it all to you, Paulette, and this wonderful property. Thanks for making our stay so memorable.

This was our first stay at the Sunrise & Sunset home. We had a group of 33 women for our annual church ladies' beach trip. The view on the main floor is beautiful. I never knew you could see the distinct ocean colors from a NC beach but you sure can from this home. Paulette has furnished the home with tasteful furniture and decorations. We especially liked the blue and yellow theme on the Sunrise side (I want that yellow fish)! This home had everything we needed. Plenty of kitchen utensils & cookware. The linens were nice. Plenty of bath towels and beach towels. I don't believe there was anything we had to actually go out to purchase. But, the REAL treasure is found in Paulette and Jim. After we arrived I had a few questions. They ALWAYS answered the phone and made me feel like they genuinely wanted to help. In a society where customer service is becoming a thing of the past, I can promise you, it will not be the case here. All of my questions & concerns were met with an answer & a solution immediately. The beach is clean and not overrun with vacationers . The pier is a short walk away. We enjoyed a steam bucket at the Topsail Shrimp House which also offered a fabulous view. We enjoyed our time and would definitely stay here again. Thank you Paulette and Jim for sharing your beautiful home with us. :)

This house is great and the owner, Paulette was extremely responsive when we were organizing our stay. She was so easy to work with and made us feel comfortable the moment we talked to her over the phone. She greatly relieved our worries and doubts about renting from a place we had never been or seen. We had our family Christmas with 24 people, including 6 under 11 years old and 2 teenagers. We were worried that we would be tripping all over each other but this house is large, spacious and well-designed. On the main floor, there is plenty of sitting area inside, not counting the kitchen (where people usually hung out), plus a large deck that we enjoyed. In fact, the 2nd floor was the main attraction. The view from every deck was beautiful you could see the sun rise and sun set (hint- the name of the house) as well you could see the intercoastal waterway. We enjoyed being right on the beach as we could watch the children play. We never felt crowded, and although the children were loud, there was always a quiet place somewhere to get away and relax. The kitchen has plenty of room for several people to work at the same time, and the dinner table easily seated us as well as the long kitchen bar/counter top which has an awesome view of the beach. The dishes, glasses, and cooking necessities were plentiful and we enjoyed the fireplace to knock the chill off. The bedrooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable and we all enjoyed the luxury of having a private bathroom. Ease of access to the house as well, directions are simple and parking was ample . It was great having everyone under one roof, and it was by far the nicest house we have rented. The house is conveniently located near grocery stores and shopping, I highly recommend it.

This is the third time that we have rented all 12 bedrooms of this lovely house for our large multigenerational family beach vacation and when we arrived at the house, it felt like we were coming home! My family has been vacationing on the coast of North Carolina for over 30 years. We've rented this house for our past three vacations. Paulette is super responsive before, during and after each stay, providing both practical information and recommendations to make your stay trouble free and fun! The house itself is extremely clean and comfortable, with lovely common spaces, well equipped kitchens and comfortable bedrooms to escape to when we need some quiet time. The views from the living areas and decks is beyond beautiful. The beach is steps away. We love to see the shrimp boats and dolphins as we drink our coffee on the deck in the morning. Paulette provides plenty of beach chairs, umbrellas and toys for your days on the beach. On our most recent trip, there was a turtle nest just down the beach from the house, and the "turtle people" camped out by the nest each night waiting for the little loggerheads to hatch. Members of our family joined them each evening, but the little turtles decided to wait a little longer to hatch. This is a beautiful home on a gorgeous stretch of beach that provides a magical experience. I wish I could give it a few extra stars, and recommend it to you for your beach vacation.

Our large extended family (28 total, with 14 children) really loved this home! We celebrated our 50th anniversary with a catered dinner and family dancing. The design, flow and excellent functions/amenities provided plenty of space for this event plus easy family gatherings with plenty of space for everyone, even when they needed some quiet time. The beach is outstanding and outdoor living areas are perfect for a large group. The house was very clean and well maintained It enjoys a great private location on North Topsail. We have been vacationing at Topsail for over 40 years and would absolutely recommend this home to others who want a really excellent beach vacation experience!

We planned a trip for our family to get together the first week of April and we were thrilled with the beach vacation we had at this rental house. Everyone loved the house, having two kitchens and two living areas allowed everyone the space they needed for quiet time, personal tv preferences and extra room for groceries and beverages. The house was super quiet, which was a real bonus compared to other homes we have rented in the past. I loved the beach access and the time I spent on the deck, sunbathing and relaxing with the ocean. The owners were great, and quickly solved a minor problem we had with the cable the first day we were there. We highly recommend this home for large family get together's or groups of people who value the comfort of having ample private space while enjoying time with friends and family. Another bonus of this house was the proximity of the house to groceries and beach shopping, a quick five minute drive across the inter coastal bridge. We recommend this house for anyone who wants a relaxing getaway on the North Carolina coast.

We held our 3rd Annual Women's Retreat in this gorgeous house and could not have been more pleased! It's always immaculate and ready for us. There's nothing that is spared from the most comfy beds and designer bedding to every imaginable kitchen utensil known to man. It's always warm and inviting and there's really just something special about this home. It's great I just can't say enough about the place and the owners are fabulous to work with. Thank you for everything! I highly recommend to everyone!

For large family get-togethers, it is often challenging to find one house that meets everyone’s needs – accommodates all age groups, offers equal parts shared space and privacy, allows for ease in eating-in and dining-out, and is in a location that provides activities for those who want to sight-see versus those who simply want to relax. We recently stayed at this property and were quite pleased to find that this house pleasantly met – and exceeded – our every expectation. We plan on returning! The floor plan lends itself to large families. A big selling point for renting the duplex is how easy it was to go between the two units. Also, the wall between the two sides of the duplex is sound-proof – and sometimes large families can be loud! The house is beautifully maintained with what I would term “casually elegant” furnishings. This distinguishes it from other beach-side properties and is an added treat. The living space is comfortable and homey, and on chilly nights, we had a fun time turning on the fireplace. The house is designed for entertaining, with ample room in the kitchen for multiple people to be involved in helping to do the prep-work for meals. For those interested in grilling, we very much enjoyed going to the local fish market and experimenting with cooking new types of fish. As stated before, the house offers a good balance between communal space and privacy. We especially loved the “penthouse” suite on the top floor. The balcony adjoining the penthouse suite has one of the most beautiful views in the house, and we enjoyed congregating there to watch the sunset. Equally fun, the walkway out to the ocean has a couple of benches, which made for same great late-night conversations and stargazing. The beach itself was beautiful and well-maintained. While more crowded on the weekends than on weekdays, we never found it to be too crowded. In fact, we very much enjoyed watching other people use the beach – it was great fun to watch people playing and exercising – and we even spotted one engagement photo session! Last, we found the quality of customer service provided by the owner Paulette to be that magic ingredient that makes a family get-together truly memorable. You can tell she and her husband truly care about their guests’ stay – both in the house and on the island. In summary, we couldn’t have asked for a more pleasant experience.
