I spent 4 nights at Cafe del Mar and it was an amazing stay. Chris is a very nice host and provides helpful advice if you want to explore the area. The food is very good and varied, from breakfast to dinner. The location is great, right on the nicest beach of Sapzurro.

Very nice guesthouse directly at the sea with an amazing view over the bay of Sapzurro. Super friendly owners, Chris, Sandra and Esperanza make you feel at home.

This is the perfect getaway right on the beach looking out over the sea with beautiful jungle behind. We were very well looked after by the lovely owner Sandra and her sister. One of our best stays in Colombia.A little slice of paradise.

Service was exceptional. We had the place to ourselves. Dinner and breakfast were amazing. Private beach location close to town and east to walk.

What I liked the most was the people: Sandra and Cris are really good hosts. Their house is in front of the sea and the view is amazing!

It's a little bit expensive for Colombian people (like me).

hotel location is amazing! it is directly on a quiet beach front, you fall asleep and wake up to sounds of the ocean. eating breakfast and dinner on the terrace looking out to sea was magical. you can do morning walks into the jungle or hike to capurgana easily Chris and Sandra are great hosts and have built a really beautiful space together. they have great life stories and I especially enjoyed conversations with Chris about music and travel - it was refreshing to hear quality music that complimented the environment. Sandra is a great cook. I can’t recommend this hotel enough - a bit off the beaten track and peaceful, I would love to return.

It’s important to know you can only pay with cash at the hotel which I hadn’t realised.

The location was excellent, directly on the beach and a little out of town so it was much quieter at night. As well our host, Esperanza, was incredibly kind.
