Basically an air b & b room in someone's house. Private room, shared bathroom. No kitchen or breakfast facilities were available, which I knew when I booked. I knew I would be arriving at 9pm and leaving at 9am the next morning so this wasn't an issue for me. The lady did offer me a cup of tea when I arrived though. She was very nice.

It's not centrally located. I got to Winchester train station a little after 8pm, waited 20 minutes for a bus, then had to walk 15 minutes to the house with my suitcase. Taxi would have been quicker but I didn't want to spend the money, and this wouldn't have bothered me as much had it not been minus 3 degrees!

Location.

The location was about the only good thing I could say about the property. It was a 20 minute walk to the centre.

There was no heating except a plug in radiator. which didn’t give out much heat. The shower didn’t work. There was a musty smell in the room and it wasn’t clean.

I had access to kitchen and washing machine. Good if you planning to stay for longer

I mt was colder than I'm get used to

Basic, freindly accommodation was offered at a very reasonable price and these and all promises were fulfuilled.

The lady has open arms for everyone thru her kind heart. God bless you.
