Dimora Sotto Le Stelle is a very nice and cosy ground-floor / street level apartment in the centre of Ostuni. Communication with the Owners is very easy and collecting the keys is very simple. Owners were also very prompt to accept a few small complaints and suggestions of mine. The apartment was very clean everywhere. Parking on the main road just 20 metres from the flat entrance is relatively easy and free when you find a spot. WiFi: non existent, unfortunately. So, for international Guests this could be a problem. Breakfast is self-catering and it was ok considering that it is made of pre-packed items (good quality), milk and juice in the fridge and some other things like a packet of tea, instant coffee bag, etc to use with the kettle in the kitchen. The heart of Old Town Ostuni is about 7 minutes away on foot, so the location is very convenient. Overall, a good experience and worth the amount paid.

The cleanliness: the bathtub was dirty with stains, used shampoo bags and a tissu + even hairs (but that can happen apparently). Plus the kitchen was with dust from the roof (humidity). Not very warm also for kids, even with the warming system. And the mattresses are so-so (some back pain on the next day).

The owner was very supportive and kind. We liked the stony style house, nice experience. Very good localisation, couple minutes straight walk to reach the Centro Storico.

The only small minus it was little cold, had to use the AC to warm up.

Nice decorated apartment. Check-in was even possible outside the mentioned times. It’s within walking distance of the historical center.

Shower ceiling is very low, therefore showering wasn’t that comfortable. Also the bath screen isn’t that comfortable, as it does not fit. We also had some issues with the amount of hot water in the bath tub on the first day, a part of it was not warm anymore due to the boiler. The second day, the water during showering was just fine. The drain of the bath doesn’t close completely, so your water keeps floating away. Also note where to park your car. As the neighbours are not so good in their parking skills, they might wake you up at 4 in the morning to move your car, despite you didn’t park in front of their garage.
