The property is small and friendly, only 6 bedrooms. The owner Anna Maria makes amazing cakes for breakfast. Gabriella who served breakfast is a lovely lady and very helpful. The owners son even gave us a lift to the station which is a long way out of the city. We liked the fact that Casale Ramunno is outside the hustle and bustle of the historic city and we were happy to walk in every day in 20-25 minutes. The property has a pool which is a big bonus in the 30+ degree heat we had. I would highly recommend this property whether driving or arriving by train as we did.

Quiet location; very good breakfast; comfortable accommodation.

The owner not being there when we arrived at 5.45 to 6.00 pm. We had difficulty getting in; only managed it with the help of the taxi driver. We had emailed arrival time; the owner said he had not received it. It was 25 minute walk into town; we had no car and arranging taxis in Puglia is difficult. There are no taxi ranks in town either.

Really nice breakfast with local and homemade products only. Nice swimming pool and we had rooms at the opposite side of the pool, so quite private. Good parking place.

It was a bit further away from the town, so we had to go out for lunch and dinner by car. The exit of the property is very dangerous as there is a not so busy road, but people drive very fast and you can't see well left or right (so a mirror on the street would be very helpful). Also, both the rooms had several woodlouses, which is not dirty but also not very wanted....

the property is lovely. felt like we were in the country but it is a long walk out of town. breakfast was good & the rooms comfortable & clean. our hosts were very helpful too. also the pool is great too.

Great host, very helpful. Everywhere was really clean and the room had everything we needed. Breakfast is laid out in a communal area and then you take it back to your room and eat on your terrace. A lovely lady brings you tea and coffee and then clears away afterwards. The pool was great to have and we mostly had it to ourselves. The property overall was very well designed and I would definitely recommend it. There is secure parking.

Not the property's fault but something to consider...The property is around a 25 minute walk from the town, it's not a particularly scenic walk and very hot in the day. You can get a taxi in for 20 euros one way. If you have a car it's no problem but we were travelling by train. It was still worth staying slightly out of town to have the pool to use.

Loved our stay in Casale Ramunno, so comfortable and stylish. Delicious breakfasts on the terrace and such a clean pool to lounge by all day, walking distance to town or a quick spin on your vespa!

the humidity in the rooms is almost unbearable during the night... a dehumidifier would be needed which does not cost a fortune. the air conditioning hardly copes at all access to the center 30-35 minutes on foot, there is no other means of transport. quite poor breakfast. on the terrace of the room extremely extremely many ants
