Our host, Carlos, and receptionist/concierge, Andrés, went to great lengths to ensure our comfort in every regard. Andrés even went to the trouble of writing us a list of sites to visit in surrounding areas/towns, complete with parking options and restaurants. All this without even having to ask! By far the most attentive and thorough concierge/receptionist that we have ever dealt with. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was also superb. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.thank you Carlos and Andrés!

This was a beautiful building in the heart of old Cadiz, no expense has been spared on the furnishings and decor - a real 'wow' factor when we arrived. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful.

The hotel was true to all of the images and descriptions. As much as the hotel itself was lovely, it was the team of staff that took it it the next level and made that difference. Maria in particular epitomised friendly and professional service, with a "nothing is too much trouble" ethos. Beautiful hotel and staff, providing a sanctuary of quiet escapism in the heart of the Old Town. I would travel to Spain again if only to enjoy the feeling each time I walked into the hotel... thank you 😊

Previous reviews said this 4* hotel felt more like a 5* and in ways I could certainly see that - the bed was large and super comfy, the bathroom was beautiful with high-end toiletries and a fabulous shower. We were upgraded to the double-terraced room which had such a neat view over the old city - only wish the weather had been a little warmer to fully enjoy it! While the room itself was petite, there was a proper desk, a strong wifi connection and it was very comfortable, and I'd rather have the extra space outdoors than in. Location was very central to old Cadiz which we really loved exploring.

For the price it would have been nice to have a simple breakfast included. Also, I had an important call after checkout time and there wasn't really a good place to take it (there's a quiet bar area downstairs, but it's not really a private work space). It would have been really nice if there were even a very small room or two that could be used as an extra workspace; but of course most of the time, the guest rooms will be perfect to work from.
