We did not get to stay at this property regarding a gas concern, we booked this property due to my mother in law being given 24-48 hours to live and asked for early book in, the lady offered an alternative and stated it was closer to the hospital which it wasn't.
When we arrived at the second property, it was very damp dirty with water that was in the fridge it was not suitable for anybody, so we informed the booker who stated she would cancel and refund. We then scrambled for another property so we could quickly get to the hospital. Unfortunately, my mother inlaw passes away, and we are grieving whilst chasing this woman for a refund after she blanked text and emails.
I am very disappointed in the lack of empathy.
Why accept a boking if there is a gas concern, especially when you are aware the boolers have 3 young children.
I'm disappointed, may God bless this woman and give her better guidance,

Lounge area, bathroom and kitchen were clean and comfortable.
Was no credit on the meter so house was absolutely freezing. No towels in the bathroom. No instructions on how to get into the property. Beds were extremely uncomfortable with dirty bedding. Bedroom door was hanging off its hinges.

Good location. Spacious and comfortable.
Disappointed to arrive to find some dirty pots in the sink. I immediately doubted the cleanliness however was ok.

Staff asked not to stay again. Food remains on plates that were in cupboards. Generally very poor.

The house is a good size and has very pretty decor downstairs.
Toilet seat falling off, bathroom hot tap rotates, TV screen broken, lumpy single bed mattresses, heating not on (thermostat doesn't seem to work), busy road to park on - had to be half on the path

Great location close to Wigan town centre.
Inside the house was clean and comfortable with eclectic artwork.
The house seemed to be work in progress, the outside repair of the building especially to the rear was poor, guttering hanging off, and some water ingress evident. The front garden had full bins, and the rear garden was untidy.

Great to have access to a full property, and good space available downstairs with comfortable sofas.
Beds weren’t very comfortable and the front bedroom was noisy due to the road noise.

The stairs are not safe for children. One bedroom opens directly onto a set of stairs.
The toilet seat doesn't work as it should.
A basement that has an unlockable door and opens straight onto a set of steep stairs.

The house hadn't been cleaned, the bath and toilet where filthy, old shampoos left in shower that had been uncleaned, toilet bin full, tissue down the side of the bed, beds hadn't been changed, my friend found a pepper pig juice cup wrapper under her pillow. Thick with dust everywhere. No toilet roll, no towels. Looked like it had been left from the previous people that stayed.

Absoluetly lovely! We had the best stay. The house was clean and in a great location for us.
The house is very quirky with some lovely little bits around. My 4 year old daughter loved it.
Had text communication that was very polite and friendly.

The house itself was lovely and free parking was available
The double bedroom was very noisy as it's on a main road, the bed itself was very uncomfortable.
The standard of cleaning was poor and the garden was a mess.
Also no mainstream T.V channels. Only Netflix and U tube. As we only stayed for one night it didn't really matter.

Well appointed property, comfortable, lovely period features. Very helpful host. Good choice for visiting Wigan and good value for money.
The gardens, especially the rear garden would benefit from some tlc. Although not part of the property the rear access track was littered with bags of rubbish and didn't make a good impression.

The ground floor layout was great and the property was sufficient.
The upstairs wasn’t clean and I found a pair of old socks in my bed so not sure if any cleaning was done since last stay as my bedding didn’t look or smell clean. But the worse part was the toilet that was disgusting.

The location, style and comfort of the property.
A information booklet could be provided, as we struggled to get the heating adjusted and the TV didn't broadcast normal channels, only streaming channels such as Netflix. Also we couldn't wash up plates and cutlery as the washing up liquid bottle was empty. During the booking process, 2 different key codes were messaged. The latter one advised didn't work, but fortunately I'd noted the initial code that was messaged.

Unable to cook as the oven is a health hazard, broken freezer, broken toilet, loose bathroom tap, outside covered in cigarette ends and litter, lots of personal items in the house and the mattress is just terrible

It was very cold. we switched heating on but the radiators barely got warm. we all had to sleep fully clothed as we were that cold. the toilet didn’t seem to be filling completely so didn’t flush properly. only 2 towels in bathroom when there were 4 of us staying. no lock on bathroom door.

great response, house was brill, easy to get to and clean. we would definitely come back again as we stay in Wigan a lot and now this will be our go to place for sure.

Beautiful house with lovely decor. Location was perfect for us. Plenty of room. The tea, coffee, and other bits and pieces was a nice touch. We only used it for somewhere to sleep so it was ok for us. The bathroom is beautiful. Although we didn't use it I loved the bar.
Heating wasn't working so very cold at this time of year. Double bed needs replacing. Kitchen window doesn't close properly. Not as clean as I would expect. It would be perfect after a little bit of maintenance.

Other people's belongings around. Litter in the coal scuttle and behind sofa. Broken toilet handle. Cobwebs everywhere.
