The architecture is authentic, but the busy atmosphere might not be for those seeking a slice of quiet Portuguese life. Located in a beautifully renovated townhouse, this is a modern home where preserved architectural features mix seamlessly with the eclectic furniture. We loved the natural light in the living room and the urban view from the balconet, as well as the quiet bedroom that guarantees a good night’s sleep. Home truths: * Four guests can stay in this home, but the last two will be sleeping on a sofa bed in the living room * The bedroom window faces the interior of the building, which means there isn't a lot of natural light * We spotted a bit of water damage next to one of the living room windows * Although the kitchen is well-equipped with appliances, it doesn't have the basic cooking ingredients * The parking in the area is quite expensive
