This property has a great location just a short walk to the center of Gaios but is far enough away to be peaceful and quiet - best of both worlds. The room was clean, comfortable and nicely appointed. The staff were friendly and exceedingly helpful. We wouldn't hesitate to to stay here again.

There was nothing worthy of complaint. It would be great to have a coffee maker in the room but we knew there wasn't one before booking. There is an electric kettle for making tea.

Wonderful location with amazing balcony views overlooking the sea and Gaios town. The room was large and had a big comfortable bed, there was a lot of room to keep luggage and move around, a nice sitting area and good bathroom also. A magical place to stay and enjoy Paxos. Warm hospitality and very helpful family run hotel. Highly recommend.

Lack of staff. Had to carry own bags up many steps to room and nobody to help on arrival or departure. No hot water most of the time. You need to shower at night and even then, it was only lukewarm one night. Breakfast was very disappointing, very basic.

Margina Residence Hotel is probably one of the best places to stay if you’re visiting Paxos. The location is perfect, just a five minute walk out of town - far enough to be away from the noise and bustle, yet close enough to be able to walk off that evening meal! Every room has its own balcony facing the sea, so it doesn’t matter which one you have, you’ll have plenty to see with lots of boats and yachts of all sizes, making their way to, and from , Gaios harbour. The beds are built-in, in the traditional way, and are surprisingly comfortable, and there’s plenty of space for all your luggage, with everything you need for a holiday - including a steam iron! if you book here, don’t forget to order the breakfast, which is fabulous. George’s mother is up at five every morning to bake the pastries, including the spinach pies, cheese pies and chicken pies, as well as the sweeter options. And sitting on the breakfast terrace while you have your morning coffee is the perfect start to the day. The welcome is warm and sincere and ALL the staff, from Jerry, to George, Maria and Anna, go out of their way to make sure you have all you need. I would absolutely recommend Margina as a wonderful place to stay and, next year, we WILL be back, without a doubt!
