Great location, lovely staff, great food.
Small room and thin walls and very creaky floorboards, woken at 6 both mornings by neighbours talking and walking about their room.

Location, facilities, bathroom exceptional, cleanliness.. Food was cooked perfect and hot.
Booked a skylight single room. Can't fault it.
This is no fault with the staff, food or location. I found due to it not having any air con in room just the skylight it became stuffy and uncomfortable to sleep. As the skylight closes if drizzle or any rain albeit still warm. Also location of room, you can hear guests from the bar and coming upstairs.
It would have been nice to have a fan or air con. That's not the fault of the hotel more of preference for myself.

Breakfasts were excellent. The room was fine but small and I was grateful to have a window as some rooms only had skylights. I could only see the TV from the bed. Everything in the room was spotless and new, which was a treat. Only two sachets of milk per day - I could have done with more!
It was quite hard dragging my case over the rough gravel from the car park. In order to be sure of a table at breakfast, the time had to be chosen the day before which is rather restricting on holiday.

Excellente situation, à la fois au calme et à quelques minutes à pied du centre-ville et du port. La grand parking privé est un plus vu la difficulté de trouver un emplacement de parking à Seahouses.
Ce que j'ai aimé: le personnel très aimable et sympathique, la grande propreté de l'établissement, la décoration de très bon goût et la très belle vue depuis la salle à manger.
La chambre "sky view" avec un unique velux était très mignonne mais dépourvue de ventilation.

Excellent location for all the Northumberland coast has to offer. Very comfortable room and bed, exceptionally friendly staff, fabulous kipper breakfast. As a solo traveller, I felt veru comfortable, including relaxing in the quiet bar in the evening.
Short staffed on Sunday night, so a long wait to be served at the bar! A very minor inconvenience! 😉

Location fantastic clean n tidy
The bar was poor as it wasn’t stocked up they were waiting for it to come in. And we asked the bartender for extra sugar n milk to take up to our room and he got us a small cup full but was told off by the chef It’s just a little thing. It didn’t spoil our stay as the staff were so friendly

Excellent location, well run beach hotel with free parking, a well stocked bar and free parking
Could have done without the posy, self centred head-waiter, who was so unbelievably up himself that he never had an eye for the guests.
But other than him the staff were welcoming and wonderful.

Even before we arrived, we had a call to check our requirements for our room and book us in for our preferred breakfast time. Throughout our stay, everyone was friendly and helpful

Comfortable, friendly and clean.
The smoke alarm flashed all night and kept me awake unfortunately. I mentioned it to staff first thing in the morning but nothing was done about it so it continued to flash the following evening. I mentioned it again the next day and nothing was done or said again. That was really unfortunate as otherwise the stay would've been perfect.

My son and his wife stayed over as a treat for his 40th birthday. They had sea view room and enjoyed their stay a great deal. Great staff, lovely room and delicious breakfast and evening meal.

Amazing staff, so friendly and helpful. Great location, only a 100 mtrs from the sea, tho no actual beach there. Great views of the Farne Islands, from the bar and the dining room.
Whilst the food in the restaurant was very good, the menu wasn't extensive and didn't change at all in the 3 nights we were there.
The breakfasts though were extremely good, great selection and choices.

Hotel has a warm ambience, traditional comfortable lounge furnishings with picture windows from lounge and dining rooms looking onto North Sea. Comfortable bedrooms with good facilities, excellent en suite shower.
Good restaurant providing substantial breakfasts and varied and tasty evening meals including local produce and fresh fish.
I liked everything. I was very comfortable, so nothing not to like.

The location of the property was fantastic, looking out at the sea every morning was relaxing and so peaceful.

The hotel exceeded our expectations - absolutely stunning, top end decor and surroundings. Sea view room beautiful and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, we also had lunch which was superb. All the staff were so very lovely, pleasant and helpful. Great hotel! Very comfortable and welcoming.
The food and drink was rather expensive, £7.80 for two teas (though it could just be the location / tourist prices as one of the pubs in Bamburgh nearly bankrupt us for two drinks!). There was a lot of noise from adjacent rooms, could hear them walking around, using the toilet, getting a drink etc through the night (but this could also have been bad luck on our part to have stayed the same night as particularly stompy, nocturnal folk).

Our dog Lola was totally spoilt and beach right on the doorstep. Would recommend!

The bed had a very springy and soft mattress so not comfortable and gave us back ache.
Low water pressure so not a great shower.
The shower dripped constantly when turned off (had to leave shower head on shower floor to stop the dripping noise from keeping us awake)

A fully refurbished hotel with an excellent view of Holly Island. Great location: very close to Bamburgh and its stunning castle and beeches with dunes. Also close to the town where we took a boat to Farne islands and had our suppers at different places to eat.
Last year the cleaning staff was amazing.
This year, no matter how much we tried to explain we wanted the room vacuumed and the towels changed,, the only thing that happened for five days was emptying the overflowing rubbish bin and that only happened because we took it out.

Most of all reception staff and the cleaning staff were amazing- always ready to help with luggage and anything else, very non- intrusive and delicate, excellent attitude to small children, excellent advice about good places to go to apart from the common ones.
The next thing we really enjoyed was the hotel's location- quiet, yet very near the centre..
Every morning our days started with the sight of Farne islands right in front of us. What a privilege!
I personally liked everything.
We had a little problem with the shower. We informed reception and went out. Upon our return everything was fixed despite the fact that it was a bank holiday.
Our room had everything we needed and nothing more than that. It was spacious enough for the time we spent there. We went mostly to enjoy the outdoors rather than spend time indoors. But I noticed elderly couples who were enjoying the spacious foyer with its beautiful views.
