The room was fairly big, and had an outside chair near the door that was nice. Shower water pressure was great!

The TV was very hard to work - we couldn't get to our regular network channels. The tub in the bath looks old and tired, but it worked okay.

Traveling for a fishing charter, and this was the nearest cheap hotel. The beds were adjustable power beds, like they have in hospitals. Very nice. Very comfortable mattresses and pillows.

Toilet was running, would flush itself periodically. No blackout curtains, and an outside light kept the room too bright all night. And the manager hit us with a $20 cash deposit that hadn't been mentioned. "24 desk" wasn't really; We were checking out at 4am, and the manager asked that we not wake him.

Stayed here over one of the weekends Graves Mountain was open for digging and had a Rock Swap that my girlfriend sold some stuff at. Place was perfect for our needs. Inexpensive, good beds (who would expect to see adjustable beds in a little roadside motel straight out of the 60's?) and quiet. Gentleman who owns/runs the place is super nice and accommodating. TV has tons of channels, totally didn't expect to see several Indian stations and ones from other countries available in rural South Carolina. Had a bit of a mix-up with the reservation (on his end he saw our party as 3 adults/4 children which would necessitate another room) but cleared it up over the phone the day before our arrival. He remembered my name and apologized for the mix-up when we checked in.

AC could have been a bit better, room was a bit stuffy still but we managed. We had a fan with us for the booth, worked well to help push the cool air around the room. TV glitched out a bit here and there, motel was full up for most of our stay. I'm sure the internet connection for the TV was the culprit. Annoying at times, but not a deal breaker.

The room did have a small fridge and a microwave but didn’t have a coffee maker. They stream the TV and it would freeze about every 5-10 seconds so I couldn’t really watch anything

electronic door security, spacious room, easy to find

very thin towels, stained washcloth and bed comforter, tub faucet barely functional, office staff had to be sought after

Price was great for a bed for the night. Bed adjusts, but was less than comfortable.

For the price paid, I can't really complain. It would be nice if there was a coffeemaker in the room, though. Having to drive in the morning to get coffee was a headache.

I'm a traveling nurse and I'm always looking for a place to stay a couple nights that don't cost a lot of money, this has been the best so far price wise and was very comfortable. The owners were very helpful and friendly they made sure I was satisfied with my room and that everything worked 🙂 will definitely book again
