bathroom shower dispensers could have been cleaner. Should have had more towels and wash cloths available.

Last morning there had to take an ice cold shower. No hot water at all!! When I talked to the manager about it she said somethings are just beyond our control. How about a discount since I expected a hot shower in the price I paid. Bar restaurant area closed about 9 AM so I couldn't get get food and buy a bottle of beer for $7. Never again!!
Parking garage is at least a block away from the hotel on the 4th floor. Already saw comments about shower. Had to drive through the bank drive through lanes to get out to the main road. being able to tell a story about how old the place is doesn't mean it's a great stay.

Historical building, excellent location and beautiful modern facilities. Staff was excellent and the 601 restaurant onsite provided a fantastic breakfast.
No iron or ironing board available, only a steamer which I couldn’t figure out. They did find me an iron after a while but no board. The shower is beautiful but the shower head was awful. The rooftop bar needs to improve their hamburger but their pizza is excellent.

Nicely updated building, comfortable room and bed, loved being downtown, could walk to the theater and restaurants. Came for a concert, enjoyed drinks at the hotel bar.

We arrived late. The bar was open for a late snack. The food was good and the bartenders were very accommodating.
The shower had no door. It was freezing while showering. Water got EVERYWHERE. I’d recommend adding a door.

The food was amazing, the over all atmosphere was gorgeous. The bed was comfortable as well. Staff was friendly and helpful
One of our nightstands didn't work, i.e. the plug in the night stand to plug my phone into. There was no information about parking available anywhere, and we found that incredibly stressful and very disappointing once we found out the parking garage was across the street and could have saved the money we paid to valet had we known ahead of time.

The hotel is beautiful. I love the mix of modern and historic. The staff was impeccable. The rooms were clean and bathroom was spacious.
The rooms are a bit small. It was difficult to navigate the mini fridge without moving it because it was in a tight corner.

Although the wait at the Boxcar was extremely long, the pizza was really good and the bartender was trying really hard and stayed friendly throughout.
The TV did not work, the shower spray was really poor (and the adjustment too high to reach), the makeup mirror was broken.

Put more coffee pods (not caffeine free) in rooms. We drink at least 2 cups of coffee each!!!

The friendly staff, and a comfortable bed
I needed a handicap assessable room Due to my daughter being in a wheelchair, but mine was given away by the time I got there. The room was so small I can only fit her past the door. I had to put our suitcases in the bathroom. Very disappointing with the room. I will not be considering this hotel in the future

The staff was friendly and the breakfast was really good.
Parking lot was difficult to find. Had to go inside to ask. The tv remote was laggy and the none of the trash bins in the room had bags.

The location is excellent, the lady at the front desk was very nice, bed was comfortable
serve in the downstairs bar and rooftop was extremely slow which I think is due to not having enough staff on hand
