Staff was kind especially the cleaning lady. Also were willing in price negotiation and bringing the wifi box close to the room.
This hotel is behind the market, and looks like behind a market. The area where this hotel is is a bit rough, the are druggies right outside the door laying on the ground, sometimes shouting something ir asking for money. Would not recommend there to walk during dark hours alone. WiFi barely works, no kitchen. We were also robbed money from the wallet likely by neighbouring guests during a 5 min smoking brake at midnight with the room door unlocked. Not a pleasant place to stay.

Good price
Big room
I was in one of the rooms in the second floor, wifi was not working inside the room
Because it is a comercial area, there are no one on the street during the night, if you come back to the hotel late night you can feel unsafe (but I don't know if it is real or if it's just a feeling)

It's cheap and quiet
Of course it's place for street hooker and in front some people sell drug. But it's not so bad for price

Cheap private room
Felt more like a prison to be honest. Very weird atmosphere in the hotel and on the street in front of it...

The price! If you’re looking for a cheap, private place to stay in San Cris, this place is only 120 pesos. It is clean, decently comfortable and located a very short walk from everything to see in town. I think the majority of the bad reviews here come from foreigners expecting 5 star hotel quality for 120 pesos a night. This is by far the cheapest hotel I’ve stayed at in Mexico, and in line with most that are double the price.
People also discuss the location being dangerous in their reviews. Again, privileged Europeans who’ve never been out of a tourist zone. This hotel is located just 3 minutes off of the cities’ main walking street and 2 huge markets. It certainly isn’t a pretty hotel or neighborhood, but anybody calling it dangerous is just a racist foreigner.
Note: I was assigned room 26, a corner room at the end of the hotel. The first floor seemed very loud and chaotic, a room there would probably warrant a worse review
The beds aren’t the most comfortable, but it’s 120 pesos a night.

For the price you pay, it's excellent. Room was clean and it's a short walk from the centre. The complaints about the area the hotel is located in feel somewhat unjustified, perhaps not a place to bring your children (did have a brothel vibe), but I felt very safe outside at night.

The price is nice. It's cheep but it's about 15 minutes from the center and some people told me that it's not that great to go there alone in the evening/night.
But if you wanna have a relaxed night, I had a room alone for me with 2 beds and a private bathroom. So if you don't wanna go out in the night and might be with another person or just a relaxed night alone, then it's a nice spot ;)
The place is a little bit dangerous alone in the night I think. So if you wanna party and come back late alone, it's not to recommend.

do not go there!
it felt really unsafe
staff…. which staff? i left my key on the conter because nobody was coming eventhough we were 3 people waiting
super sketchy neighbourhood I am not easily afraid, I have traveled by myself (and hitchhiked sometimes) through mexico, Peru, Bolivia, chile, Poland, Romania … and I never felt as unsafe as there (maybe besides some places in Paris and. Brussels … les vrais savent)
the bathroom has a window without glass and anybody could enter … fortunately they had a lock outside of the bathroom soo I locked myself and prayed that I don’t have to pee
Moldy And dirty
i could here a man snoring in an other room all night
for a couple of euro more you can have your private room in the center

Nothing
Avoid this place at all cost, it's far from the tourist area in a sketchy side of town, there's prostitutes outside the place. There's a woman living there with her two kids and they yell and cry all day / night, making it impossible to sleep. Absolutely horrendous experience, don't even think about staying there! This is a motel where locals go and have sex with prostitutes, not a hotel!

it has nice beds and very good shower with warm water! also the room I had had a lot of light through the window, also they cleaned the room the first day! It was also possible to leave the luggage at the reception 4 free!
They charged 50 Pesos for half an hour checking out later, we asked about that cause my girl wanted to have another shower, for me 50 Pesos for a shower was too much, also they took my towel when cleaning the room!

The staff here is incredibly helpful. Once I left my laundry out to dry and when rains moved in they brought it inside so I wouldn't come home to wet clothing.
The internet is slow and the hot water infrequent. This didn't matter for me, but keep it in mind if you need wifi for work or something.
