Jenipher and David are great hosts: friendly, welcoming and very generous. Everything is exactly how it is described and pictures are genuine. Very clean, comfortable, lots of useful amenities and more! So well-organized and private. Beautifully decorated and inviting. Location-wise, perfect to explore volcano country and more! We had a wonderful stay; everything was perfect.

This place just feels like home! We had a very pleasant stay. David is a great host provided everything we needed. The room is spacious, clean and has everything you need.

Jeni and David were lovely hosts that made their suite feel like home. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and there were many welcoming parts of the home from their home grown papaya to hawaiian cold drinks in the mini fridge.

Did not breakfast. Surprised the dogs were so well behaved and absolutely no problem. Unfortunately our party of 3 were all sick with awful colds, but a great place to recover. Our 12 day stay still managed to provide us returning Puna residents the opportunity to blanket the island with all we intended to do. Could use a larger refrigerator-freezer but over all, the quiet of the neighborhood was nice, in contrast to the hustle and bustle of Banyan Drive in Hilo. Jenny and Dave were exceptionally gracious and accommodating. Thanks so much........

Super nice place - lovely hosts who put a lot of detail and little extras in their stay. Breakfast you can order is extraordinary. If we could give 11 points, we would!

If you don‘t like dogs it is not your place

Nice, large appartment with everything one commonly requires. Everything clean and in good condition. Friendly owners. No noise from dog kennel operation.

As so often in the US without car this is no option (central Hilo might be as public transportation and everything else is available there). Some noise during night time (still don't know the source, must be some critters).
