The property must be one of the cleanest I've ever seen, every corner is immaculate. The serenity of the location makes it very peaceful. Nice to have access to a kettle, fridge, etc. Lots of seating and recliners provided outside so you can take in the view. They even have an electric vehicle charging point.

It's a little way out of Arouca meaning you are reliant on a car. The entrance to the property from the road is a bit scary at first but you get used to it.

Paula was very friendly and the room was nice and clean.

The staff was nice and overall helpful, suggesting the preferable starting point for the "Arouca 516" suspended bridge.

There is virtually no sound isolation. On the first night, some other guests in the house (there are 2 houses, each with 4 rooms), talked loudly, moved furniture and kept the fireplace going for hours without any ventilation. As I was with someone who suffers from a lung condition, not only could we not sleep, and all our clothes and items smelled, I was also worried for their health. On the 2nd night, a couple in the adjoining room from the other house were having rather loud s*x, so no rest either. There were a several dead flies when we first entered the room, and upon the first use the shower had significant iron or rust in the water, which cleaned up in a minute or so. Overall, while the staff is nice, the property itself has paper-thin walls, and rest was impossible to find. Overall, would not recommend unless there is better sound isolation and ideally ventilation if people are using the fireplace or otherwise producing smoke indoors.

the coffee maker was really nice and gave us a perfect cup for the morning. Nice location as well. everything was good!

It was a little distance from town, so not really walkable to shops and restaurants.

Beautiful place, comfortable facilities, great kitchen, the room was clean and comfortable, the view was beautiful and the woman who works there is super nice and helpful.

The shower can be a bit more comfortable.

Really impressed by the front garden on arrival and then the bedroom, kitchen and dining area. A friendly welcoming hostess Paula. All very clean and modern. Great that you had your own labelled container to put food in cupboard and in the fridge. Only spent one night there.

Villa on the hill above Arouka. Very calm and private place. Big parking in front of the building. Inside everything new, fully equipped kitchen, big outside rest zone on the open air. In the room everything clean and new also. Recommend for those who are traveling by car or motorbike.

Friendly and helpful staff. Everything very new, well-functioning and clean.

No atmosphere, house and rooms are extremely sober. Doors, floors and walls transmit all the noises from the neighbors. The "garden" is like a highway: HUGE amount of asphalt all around the house.
