New, very clean and nicely decorated townhouse in a great location. It’s on the end of the row so there’s only neighbors on one side. We had 4 adults and 3 kids and had plenty of room. It’s advertised as a place for 12 which I find hard to believe and would be pretty crowded in my opinion after having just stayed there. Sheets and towels provided along with plates and eating utensils. Limited pots, pans and no cooking utensils. No pantry supplies at all, like salt, pepper or any seasonings or cooking oil. Bring anything you might need as there’s only one local grocery store on the island, it’s a nice store but a little pricey and limited to basic necessities. There’s a starting supply of toilet paper, paper towel, body soap in the showers and shampoo……you’ll need to bring more for your stay. There’s a nice little back patio area that backs up to the pool with easy access through two securely closed gates. The pool area has a water hose that we used to wash the sand off our feet, chairs and other things from the beach. Being so close to the pool is great for access but can be noisy when it’s busy which is ok unless you have little ones napping during the day like we did but we had noise machines that helped. The townhouse is just across the street from the beach with unobstructed view from the upstairs master suite balcony and there’s a cement walkway across the street leading to the beach. Overall it was a great stay.

We stayed here the last weekend in May. The rooms appeared bigger online so that was a bit disappointing. I expected for the kitchen to have basic items, salt, pepper, oil, etc. We've stayed in AirBnBs in Outer Banks, NC so my expectations may have just been too high. Overall, we'd likely stay again.

Very nice location, just a walk to the beach on a pathway! Being on a corner is nice but the sun beats down. A/C needed to be cooler! Next time we would bring a better frying pan!

I enjoyed our stay everything was clean down stair bathroom was broke they came Saturday evening and fix it the only thing was there was not any early or late check in or out I think 10 is a bit early for check out all around good stay

We stayed for 3 nights and it fit 9 of us comfortably. The house was clean and cute. The pool was decent, but seemed smaller than the pictures show. The only negative thing about this property is the walls are VERY thin. We were contacted 9 times one evening because of noise complaints, when there was only 4 of us sitting around the kitchen table talking - but the pool was insanely loud with music and screaming. Not sure if whoever reported the noise complaint was confused about where the sound was coming from, but noise travels very well within the complex.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Location is good for quick access to Whitecap Beach, but the main street in front of the community gets pretty loud with cars reving their engines throughout the day. House was clean upon arrival. The owner did not offer early check-in or late checkout which was disappointing. Especially since their checkout was at 10am. Thats early for a checkout and I have not stayed at a property with a checkout before 11am. The rooms were an adequate size not too big or small. Access to pool was good. We had an issue with the air conditioning upon arrival, so spent half the day on Friday waiting for it to be fixed. Once "fixed" it took about another half day for the house to get "cool". It only got down to 74 from 75, but at least the humidity inside the house was reduced which made it feel cooler. Appreciate the quick response, just wish we didn't have to deal with it in the first place. Also, I received a notification that there was excessive noise coming from our property around 9pm. There was more noise coming from the pool area that night than from us, so I just dismissed it as a mistake. Overall we enjoyed our stay and didn't let little things get in the way of our vacation. However, due to the checking and checkout times I would not stay again. Just a personal preference.

This was a perfect location for my husbands family and us to stay, swim, tan, and explore. It was close enough that my husband and could drive into the city for work each day, but also close enough to the beach to walk! The pool turned a murky green after just 1.5 days, so it should probably be checked more often...otherwise it was PERFECT!

This unit is awesome with a big corner patio with pool access directly behind it allowing me to keep an eye on my 12 year old and relax in it! Conversely there was no one to remind the group in the pool at midnight of the hours. The house was clean and beautifully decorated as well as games and water toys to use. I would definitely rent this unit again only this time I will bring a mattress topper for the bunk bed full size mattress.

Very cleanliness of this place and love the beach near by too.. Also, love how we re right next door to the pool and especially with young toddler they have a gate and that does help so much!!
