A perfect location for us and our dog. We wanted to be in a scenic area with privacy but not too far away from town. The cabin was very clean and exceptionally well stocked. We cooked several meals and had all the utensils and cookware we needed. We would certainly stay there again!

The property is well located to all of the must-see places in the black hills. We were out all day, and it was a great place to come back to and rest and rejuvenate for the next day's adventure. The cabin is well stocked with anything you will need and didn't realize you need. I wanted a scissors and opened a drawer, there was some scissors. The shower was great temperature and water flow. Perfect home away from home for 2. We would definitely book again!

This was the perfect location to see all of the sites with easy driving. The cabin is situated in a quiet and safe spot. The listing says it all. The cabin was stocked with all of your daily needs. Do not worry if you forgot anything, they have you covered. Don and Terri were very responsive and made our stay a great experience. Thank you!

This property was very clean. Excellent location. Close to Custer, but very private. This property has everything you need. The price is right, and the owners do a good job with communicating with you.

It was a very lovely cabin set in a beautiful wooded setting. The cabin was absolutely clean and I loved how well everything you might need was there! It was a very quiet area and close enough to town to go in and visit my friends as well as to go hike the beautiful mountains around the area!

First off the cabin has a great bed, well stocked kitchen, nice porch and bathroom. Located minutes from Custer and you can see Crazy Horse from where you turn off the highway. The gravel road you use to get to the cabin is wide and well maintained. We will stay there again in the future.

We absolutely loved our stay in this cabin! The cabin was well stocked with everything you need or may not know you need. The owners went above and beyond to insure you had everything you needed to make your vacation great. The location was a perfect spot to explore several different sights. It was great to come back to the cabin to relax after a day of exploring. I would definitely recommend.

We had a great trip. Don and Terri have thought of everything to make your stay comfortable, with lots of extras you might have forgotten. They checked on us and made sure we knew we could reach out with questions or assistance. My Husband and I hiked the short hill behind the cabin. The view is worth it, beautiful. We have and will recommend this cabin to family and friends. The cabin is very well located for everything we wanted to do or see, very short drive to Custer for restaurants or groceries.

This cabin is amazing! Don and Terri (the owners) truly go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. The cabin itself is very clean and has so many amenities. It was cool and rainy one of the days we were there and it was so cozy in the cabin! It's the perfect size for two people (and our dog). The location is great -- it's very quiet and peaceful, yet within 10 minutes you can be in downtown Custer. We loved having coffee in the mornings on the porch, looking directly at Black Hills National Forest just steps away. We're already talking about going back!

What a great cabin and Don and Terri thought of our every need! The best experience we have had yet in the Black Hills!

We were above and beyond pleased with our accommodations! Perfect and private setting for a romantic getaway. But still close enough to any attractions and adventures you could want. Don and Terri were wonderful hosts and had an open line of communication, however, we didn’t need it because honestly everything was perfect!

My wife and I ( in our 60’s) had a fabulous 3days and 4 nights in the Black Hills exploring each day and then coming back to our own very private, secluded and safe, in the woods and hills little getaway “cabin” that is perfect for two adults. We were thrilled when we arrived to see we had nature all around us and the hills, granite rock, and pine trees. We went on a hike that very evening and off in a distance could even see the face of Crazy Horse Monument - so close by and one of the high lights of our trip. The owners have thought of all the little things you might need but forgot - such as the extra tooth brushes left in the bathroom which my wife needed. The kitchen was well stocked and we cooked there 3 of the 4 nights as it was such a nice setting….porch with gas fire and grill too, picnic table facing the forested hills. Bed was very comfy, had TV and lots of channels and DVD so we could watch our newly purchased DVD about Crazy Horse. Also 2 electric recliner chairs with mid console cup holders perfect for my cold beer in frozen mugs they keep in the freezer and so good after a day of hiking and tipping back tired old bones in that recliner. I also used the Kuereg ( spelling ? ) each morning with several variety of blends they keep in stock. Great place to stay - hope to go again - maybe take a couple grandkids too - they would love it ! Everything was as expected. Host was easy to deal with. Great secluded place but not to far away from town and attractions.

The rental was excellent just right for two people ,very peaceful , It was a nice place to relax and easy to get out and explore the area for good food and entertainment.

This was perfect for my husband and I. Very quaint and cozy place tucked back in the trees. We need a place for a few nights to come check on our property and will contact owners again for future stays. Close to town and easy access. Another bonus is if you hike up hill and look east you can see Crazy Horse off in the distance. Thanks for providing a wonderful place.

The cabin was absolutely perfect for two people (the wife and I) and it was super cozy! It had every amenity (and more) that we could wish for. The location from Mount Rushmore, Crazyhorse, Custer, and Hill city could not have been more convenient. The privacy and tranquility of the property has to be experienced! There is no way you would not enjoy hiking 50 yards out the back door to view Crazy horse not to mention the rocky beauty of South Dakota. Highly recommended and hope to return.

Just right for 2 adults and a small dog. Clean and very well equipped! I have never stayed in a rental property that had so many amenities. They really supplied everything except the main meals. Loved it ! Great communication with Don also. If we ever make it back west, I would definitely stay here again.

We loved the little cabin and it’s great location near Custer, Hill City, Custer State Park and Mt Rushmore. All the places we wanted to see. It was perfect!

Don & Teri provided things for our stay that were over the top and not common to other places. Very clean, comfortable and a great place to enjoy the sights of Mount Rushmore, Custer State Park and the Black Hills. Would stay here again without thinking about it. Top of our list.

This was a perfect choice for us! You can’t beat location…just 5 miles from downtown Custer. Short drive to Crazy Horse, only about 20 miles to Mt. Rushmore, Needles Highway, Custer State Park. Beautiful cabin in the woods, awesome decor, porch with propane fire pit. We loved that it was off the beaten path and the peace and quiet. We did hike the hill in back and saw Crazy Horse from there. Owners are so quick with answers to questions. Thank you for a wonderful vacation!!

Wonderful place for two people looking for a quiet place and yet close to all the attractions the Black Hills has to offer! Clean, very nice, and little extras that made it feel like home! Highly recommend this property!

The cabin was very cozy and close to all the attractions. Custer is great great town to stay. Only 3 miles away. We were there for Sturgis bike week August 2022. We enjoyed the covered porch with the fire pit it was really relaxing after a long day. The hosts were great! Very responsive and prompt when we had a question. The only downfall was the stone/dirt road getting to the property, very dusty and was about 1 1/2 miles long to get to the cabin.

We loved the cabin & the owners were easy to work with.We would recommend the place to anyone wanting to disconnect.

It was remote which we liked and very comfortable. We particularly enjoyed the porch and the surrounding outdoors.

My husband and I stayed at this property everything was excellent very accurate of what it looked like and what we were to expect. The property was very clean and up-to-date. The owners were very hopeful and was easy to get a hold of if we had any questions. Check in was a breeze. Location was great everything that we wanted to go and see was very easy to get to. We definitely recommend this property and we will be going back home😊

This was a comfortable home away from home. It was close to the town of Custer which has everything you need and more, as well as a short drive to the other attractions in the area. We enjoyed relaxing on the porch watching the chipmonks play on the rocks after a day of exploring. Hope to be back in a couple years!
