Our stay was wonderful! The house had everything one would need for a wonderful vacation. The pool and spa area was perfect. The owner went above and beyond to make sure our trip was memorable. Hope to return in 2024!!

Great stay

This house is a MUST stay for a big family beach trip! Perfect distance to the beach (especially if you have little ones that take naps). The neighborhood was super safe and the house is very close to Destin Commons and grocery stores. Nick was so attentive whenever we needed anything! Highly recommend this house!

My family and I have been coming to Destin Florida from almost 20 years. Staying in Destiny by the sea and at this particular house has been by far one of the best experiences for our family. The house is large enough to accommodate our big family, it is so close to the beach, and every detail has been thought through. We try to book this property every time that we come down to Florida. All the beds are very comfortable, the rooms are all very large, and the pool and hot tub are fantastic for small children. There are just not enough great things I could say about this property!

Arrived and the house was in immaculate condition. Photos of the property didn't do the home justice. Beautiful home. Location to the beach was PERFECT. I highly recommend this property for any stay in Destin FL.

Our family has stayed in this incredible beach home located within a gated beach front community, managed by experienced-professional hosts, Nick and Tina Athens, for five straight summers. This home is in immaculate condition. It is clean, perfectly furnished, and has a well stocked kitchen that is easy to enjoy. The layout of the home is smartly done. You and your family will feel very relaxed in this home. The gas grill is easy to use and conveniently located. The homes balconies are easy to access, have great views, and are enjoyable to use. The homes location is perfect, with views of the ocean from most rooms, including the family room and the kitchen. You have easy access to the beach, while still maintaining privacy for you and your family. The private pool and deck is perfectly sized and is a favorite of my family. You still feel like you are on the beach while enjoying the pool and patio. The beach is beautiful, clean, and professionally maintained and managed. You will not find better property managers than Nick and Tina. They sincerely care about you and your family’s stay. Very accessible and attentive. My family is already looking forward to next summers stay in Family Beach Fun. TLW and Family.

Zero complaints!! Great home with the perfect layout for our group of 5 families (11 adults/9 kids). The house is super close to the beach and an easy walk across the street. Pool was great for all the kids! The owner was wonderful with communicating and taking care of us the entire time! We will be back!!

Nick was great from the start! This house is everything and more. We’ve stayed in Destiny by the Sea for the last 10 years and this by far was the best house. It was clean when we arrived and fully stocked with everything we needed. The location is perfect and so close to beach. I hope we can stay in this house again. It was perfect for our big family! Thank you Nick and family for the wonderful house and the warm hospitality. We made some great memories!

BEAUTIFUL house for larger families. We had my parents, my family of 6, and my brother’s family of 5 all in the house and it was perfect. The house is near everything you would want to get out and do while being on a quiet street in a gated neighborhood. The house is laid out really well for larger groups with large bedrooms, plenty of space, and all the bathrooms are the size of master baths! Good common and entertainment areas. Very nice layout for a larger group with children as the main family areas are away from the bedrooms allowing the little ones to nap without being disturbed and gave everyone the sense of privacy. Beautiful kitchen with all the amenities you could ask for as well tons of seating for meals. Our crew enjoyed having some of the extra things in the kitchen that don’t always come with a VRBO. Location to the beach was seconds away and made the back and forth with kiddos so easy. House was well stocked with beach supplies/sand toys and chairs to use. You can also go thru the management company (Nick provided us the number) and rent chairs and umbrellas by the day and/or week. They have everything set up on the beach for you in the same spot every morning. Nick will also provide you with a handout on everything there is to know about the house and beach...BIG HELP! Nick was always quick to get back to us if we had any questions, like restaurant suggestions. Highly recommend and we have already talked about coming back!!

This property was everything we had hoped it would be. We’ve been renting homes in this community for over 10 years and this one is the best so far. Perfect location right across from the beach. The pool was perfect for hanging out in the afternoon and evenings and the layout of the home was fantastic. Outstanding experience from top to bottom.

The property was amazing with plenty of room for the 14 of us. The description was spot on and the kitchen was even more impressive. Owners were very helpful and answered questions within minutes. Beautiful pool and hot tub within steps from the beach! Would definitely rent here again.

INCREDIBLE experience! The property is stunning and Nick was helpful and attentive throughout our stay. We had 4 adult couples and 5 kids ranging from 2-8 years old. The home offered plenty of space for everyone! The pool and spa were perfect for our kids to swim and it’s a 30 second walk to the beach. I cannot say enough good things about this trip. We made amazing memories & will definitely return in the future. My only suggestion would be to purchase some beach towels for the house as they are bulky to pack. Thanks for everything Nick!

The house is stunning and exceeded all my family's expectations. The communication was great from beginning to end. In addition to providing very detailed instructions and helpful insights, the property owners made certain that all of our questions - no matter how small were answered and provided additional insights about the community area including restaurant recommendations! The house is very organized (I dare you not to be impressed with their labeling) and we highly recommend this location for families who are looking for a vacation feel while also enjoying any possible home amenity. This is a first-class property with first-class, involved owners. I had rented a different property from Nick before, so I was certain this home would be very clean, well maintained and beautifully appointed. The home is as inviting and amazing as we thought. The number of bedrooms with queen/king ensuites is exceptionally nice and each is well appointed and comfortable. If you are the lucky one to get the master suite you will win the ultimate prize! The master, (and junior suites) are stunning. The shower in the master suite - beware-you may never want to get out! Two sets of shower heads and jets - one feels like they are in a spa. It may seem like a small thing to some, but the house is equipped with on-demand water heaters so there is never a fear of running out of hot water when there is a house full of guests. The ocean view from the master suite is stunning and very inviting. The walk to the beach is steps away. The elevator is a real godsend for those with bad knees! There is so many wonderful things to say about the home, but most importantly if one is looking for a high-end, clean, comfortable home, this is the one and the renter can be assured they are getting a safe, quality place to vacation. I have to give Nick a shout out because he is a rare property owner in that he is very involved with his bookings and oversight of property; he doesn't leave it to an agency like so many have moved to. He provides polite reminders for trash days, he checks in throughout the week to be certain everything is going well. Thank you, Nick, for sharing another spectacular, top notch property.

What a beautiful home in which to make family memories!! We had a wonderful week. Home is spacious and comfortable. There were eight adults and five children, three of which were two and under. Plenty of parking for four cars! Beach access directly across the street was ideal with having small kids and taking everything but the kitchen sink with you and having to go back for what you forgot. Private pool and spa were also great with the small kids. Can’t say enough about the kitchen which had anything and everything you’d need to cook or bake and the space to do it in! The owner, Nick, was very gracious and responsive, making sure you did not need anything! We definitely want to stay here again and would not hesitate to recommend to others, except don’t book it the week I want!!

We arrived to the house and it was absolutely beautiful! Very clean and the owner was super helpful anytime I contacted him. 10/10 would recommend and would stay again. The beach access is directly across the street which made it so easy for the adults and the kids to go to and from. Plenty of comfortable beds for sleeping and bathrooms to accommodate a large party too. Two sets of washer/dryers also really helped, too! We really enjoyed our stay!

We have stayed at many homes throughout Destin and 30a in general, over the years. This was by FAR the most taken care of house we have ever rented. Everything was thought of to make for an enjoyable stay. We have family ranging from ages 5-72 (14 of us) and still had one spare bedroom. I was extremely nervous about the cleanliness of the house after a horrible experience last year, and I was 100% pleased with how clean this home was. Fresh, clean and new. The owner was extremely responsive and Destiny by the Sea in general, is a hidden gem. I will 1000% rent this home again when we travel to Destin again. It is worth every penny.

Nick and Tina Athens manage and host this beautiful, comfortable, clean, efficient home for their quest and do a fantastic job in providing a pleasurable experience. The layout and interior design of the home allows for comfortable space for your family and guest. The well equipped and comfortable kitchen, eating area, family room, and large balcony with BBQ grill provide the perfect environment for family cooking and meals together. The nice size private pool and patio provide opportunities for more family fun. The short boardwalk you take down to the beach is only a few steps away after you exit the pool patio. You have views of the beach and ocean from the homes balconies. The Destiny By the Sea community is gated and safe for everyone.

This was our second year staying at this house and loved every minute. Never had a more attentive property manager as Nick was to us. He’s a top notch guy!

From start to finish, this was our best experience ever with VRBO. Additionally, we have stayed in Destiny by the Sea in other amazing homes, and this is definitely our favorite! Nick , who owns this home, was on top of everything and stayed in communication with us from the time we booked throughout our stay. He ensured that we had all the information we needed about the house and the area, and he was prompt to answer any questions. Check-in was fast and flawless. Let me interject here (because it’s important to us) that Nick immediately responded to any needs we had. (As the homeowner, his service was vastly different from a Mgmt. or Rental agency that would typically be in charge.). We needed a very minor repair, and Nick had someone at the house within a couple of hours to fix it. We don’t know Nick personally, yet we have an abundance of great things to say about him! Superb service! The house is amazing—even larger and more beautiful than the pics online reflect. The decor throughout has a beautiful and soothing vibe. We had 11 people representing 4 families, and we were never crowded or on top of each other. The gathering areas and balconies are spacious enough for everyone to sit around comfortably and chat. The bedrooms are large, casually elegant and beautiful, have comfortable mattresses, and are separated enough that you don’t feel like you’re sleeping next door to anyone. The bunk beds in multiple rooms are great for the kids! Each bedroom has its own deluxe bathroom and shower complete with rainfall and body sprays. No one gets cheated by having an inferior bedroom/bathroom in THIS house! The pool and boardwalk access are two more key assets! The kids stayed in the pool for hours each day, and we were able to watch them from the main floor balcony if none of the adults wanted to be in the pool, too. (Big bonus!) The short boardwalk is immediately across the street, so beach access is literally only steps away! The elevator was a lifesaver for my husband! He has knee issues, and he dreaded the thought of climbing two flights of stairs multiple times a day, but he didn’t have to! This was a very special feature for his comfort and ability to thoroughly enjoy our stay! I don’t ordinarily take the time to write reviews. However, this incredible home and the service the homeowner provided are so above and beyond what was expected that it definitely warrants a descriptive and glowing review! 5 Stars Plus!

From the very beginning Nick was beyond helpful and available with any questions we had for our upcoming vacation. Every detail was just as pictured and promised. Special personal touches including complementary wine and arranging of grocery delivery set this place apart from many others we have stayed at. This was the perfect place for our large family of 5 children and two sets of grandparents to gather for our annual Destin beach trip. The location to the beach was so easy to access for both the kids and grandparents. We made memories for a lifetime and can’t wait to book this place again.

The property was beautiful and clean. The space was great for our family. We had 16 people, 4 couples and 8 kids ages 4-18. Everyone had ample space and the two sets of washers and dryers were perfect. The house really has everything you need and more. The owner was very communicative and accommodating. This was our 4th year staying in this house but our 1st year with the new owners. The new owners were great to work with and everything went smoothly. Loved the new updates and the new bed changes. The extra refrigerator in the garage was a great bonus for our large group. We enjoyed the pool and easy access to the beach. We appsolutely love this house and have already booked for next year.

The Family Beach Fun House is the most beautiful house we have ever vacationed in. It was in a perfect location and had everything you would want or need. Nick was amazing in communication and answering all of my questions and I had alot LOL. The Beach access is right across the street and makes it so easy, the pool and hot tub were a bonus and we enjoyed them both so much! The balconies are furnished so nicely and comfortable and even large enough to set up two massage tables for outdoor massages for everyone! The furniture in the home is so beautiful and the kitchen is a chefs dream! I am usually ready to get home after a few days being away but I could have stayed here forever, as we all wanted too! There is not enough stars for this trip, Nick and this beautiful home. I hope we get to do it all again next year!! Thank you for sharing your home with all of us!!

What a beautiful house and a beautiful location leading to a memorable vacation! Nick and Tina are fantastic hosts who provide a personal touch and manage your stay directly - no property management company to deal with. We had 3 families – 6 adults and 7 kids and the house was ideal for our group. It’s not often that you find a house with a dining table that can seat 20 people, enough bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, and a giant sectional big enough for movie nights. And that is just the inside of the house! What makes this house even more spectacular is the heated pool and hot tub (that entertained the kids for hours) and proximity to the stunning beach. We rented 2 chairs and umbrella for the week to establish a home base on the beach then brought our own beach chairs. It was super easy to go back to the house to replenish snacks or use the bathroom since access is right across the street. No shoes required! The private gated community is safe and quiet. We would absolutely rent this home again!
