Lots of potential, but unfortunately very disappointing. Pros: -Location, location, location. Walk to multiple beaches and restaurants/bars -Fully stocked kitchen -Washer and dryer Cons: -In desperate need of some TLC. Ripped blinds, old and chipped paint, stained carpets, wicker chairs with tears, nasty tiles in the master shower, and a rusty dishwasher. Just didn’t feel clean or cared for. -Internal privacy: Take note that the listing does say the master is a loft. I appreciate the honestly there but they fail to say how open the rest of the unit is. The master bathroom doors have wooden slats for air movement which means you can hear everything happening in the bathroom from anywhere in the condo. The downstairs room is also not private, just a sliding door with slats. -External privacy: Due to no air conditioning there are open windows to the outside. When entering the unit you can hear everything going on in other units and in the mornings we could hear kids from other units. -Door Lock: After traveling all day to get to Kauai, the code we were given did not work. Vacasa did not answer the phone but thankfully were responsive via texting. It took about 20 minutes to get a code that worked, but then the lock was finicky the rest of the trip and we kept wondering if each time we left if we were gonna be able to get back in.

In a beautiful location, but definitely needs updating. Dishwasher was all rusted out. The master bedroom TV didn’t work, but they replaced it but never programmed it. The master bath shower was clogged. Two adults and two infants staying in the downstairs bedroom. Got eat up my bugs. Not sure why.

We enjoyed our stay in Poipu. It was such a short walk to the beach each day. We walked to dinner at a nearby restaurant one night. The huge lanai was pleasant to enjoy our morning coffee together.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! It was fun to watch the green sea turtles beach for the night only to depart at dawn. We will stay again!

Walking distance to the beach and eating areas. Close to the zip lining location which is I why I chose this for our family to stay at. Happy they had floor fans as well as ceiling fans. The goodies was a nice surprise! Will definitely stay here again!

Gorgeous property, with an easy 10 minute walk to the beach. Welcome goodies were a thoughtful and delicious touch. The master bedroom is a loft, open to the downstairs, allows you to hear the kids on the sofa bed talking at night when they should be sleeping 😉. Not a criticism, but the only spices available are salt and pepper, so bring what you need. We really enjoyed sitting on one of the 3 lanais, especially in the evening. Very comfortable.

We had a wonderful stay in this condo. The location in Poipu/Koloa was ideal. Plenty of fun restaurants and stores very near by (even a fresh fruit stand within walking distance to stock up). Just a very short walk to an amazing beach, with all the essentials you may need right in the closet - chairs, umbrella, snorkels, fins, boogie boards and even a cooler. Condo was clean and beds were comfortable. All soaps, shampoos, lotions and cleaning and paper supplies were stocked. Never missed the A/C, as the trade winds brought fresh air (with the provided fans) and bird songs inside. The Britta water filter was a welcome addition to fill water bottles before heading out for the day. Would absolutely return to this home away from home!

We loved the location!

The location, community amenities, and views of the water were great. Unfortunately that’s where the good things stop. Everything inside was a disappointment -- Paint was dirty and chipping everywhere. The dishwasher was rusted out. There was a roach in the bathtub. Balls of hair were on the nightstands. The upstairs carpet had just been replaced but the downstairs carpet was crusty and gross to walk on in bare feet. The furniture was old, dirty, and uncomfortable. All the rooms are open which means no privacy. There were also lots of little touches which were missing, such as no Kleenex, shower wands to help clean sand out of intimate places or lines to hang wet clothes. As for the lack of A/C, yes, we knew this going in and, while it sounds OK in a tropical climate, when you spend all day out on the beach or exploring you look forward to coming back to a comfortable place to rest and relax. This is hard to do when it’s 80+ degrees inside. You also have to leave the doors and windows open 24/7 to keep things as cool as possible which means lots of noise from neighbors. We will never stay in Hawaii without air conditioning again.

Wish we’d had longer to enjoy all the lovely sitting areas / lanais and enjoy the peace and quiet. The place was well equipped with all we needed for our stay and very comfortable. Check in / check out was a breeze. Handy to shopping / eating areas

Easy check in and check out, loved the welcome goodies:) Nice unit, although a little outdated, but the furnishings were beautiful and overall very clean. I only wished they had A/C. It did get breezy in the evenings so the trade winds were refreshing. Will be back!! Mahalo!🌺

We had trouble with the wifi other then that it was a great place to stay. A little dated, but worked perfect for our needs. Washer/dryer was newer and worked great. Good location, super close to Poipu beach. The kids loved the cookies and chocolates they had as a welcome gift, that was a very nice touch.

We stayed in the condo with our 2 young adult daughters and our 2 year old grandson. The location was ideal! Walking distance to 4 beautiful beaches where we saw seals and turtles daily. Several good restaurants and bars in east walking distance and more a quick drive away. The condo was well equipped and comfortable. The 3 lanais were my favorite feature. We saw whales every day from the upstairs lanai. Bring binoculars if you want a good look. The kitchen had everything we needed for meal prep, and there’s a closet full of beach gear. Checkin was a breeze. It was easy to find and they give you a key code on arrival day. There was plenty of parking. Checkout was also easy. We would definitely book again!

The living room picture though is misleading in that you can no longer see the ocean from there - the shrubs and trees are so tall that it blocks all your views. You can only see the ocean from the upstairs bedroom balcony which is very inconvenient. Unit has no A/C but once you are in and with all the fans going, you get used to it. It would be nice though to have A/C in the bedrooms for sleeping.

The whole complex where the appartment is located is in amazing shape with a lot of flowers and nice pool areas. You are also super close to the beach. The hosts were super thoughtful and even left a little present for a baby daughter which she very much enjoyed! Two things to note, the master bedroom does not have a door and the guest bedroom only has a sliding door which doesn`t really close. So, be prepared for a little bit of family style in the apartment. Though the kitchen was in good shape, the dishwasher is a little bit shabby and smells, but it still works fine. Overall it’s convenient but very dated!! Need new flooring & faucet up grades & furniture. too.

Great place especially for the price. Very clean, lots of towels and beach chairs / umbrellas /boogie boards to borrow. Our kids loved the shared pool and the beach is very close.
