We had a great stay in Lecce. The Apartment is centrally located, a 2 minute walk from the old town and main piazza. It was well appointed, the hosts friendly and attentive, and had everything we needed. When we couldn't find a bread-board, Maria purchased one that same day and dropped it off. Nothing was too much trouble. Lecce was lovely and the apartment was very easy to live in for a short stay. Would thoroughly recommend it.

Marie Grazia is a lovely host. She met us at the station and took us to a supermarket. She was also super responsive when we had a problem. A great location in the centre made everything accessible. Commfortable bed Very clean. The apartment is on the ground floor. The heating works very efficiently. It comprises of two good sized double bedrooms, two bathrooms a kitchen and a bed on the mezzanine. Although we knew this from the accurate description we had not realized that we would miss the option of having easy chairs. The apartment and the bed felt slightly damp when we arrived. The heating was very useful.in sorting this for us.

It was a lovely space, although there is one thing that any potential renter should be aware of. Public parking is necessary, and because it's a busy spot, we never took day trips because we might come home in the evening and not be able to find a spot. Also, it was necessary to walk 15 minutes every morning at nine to put a day's worth of coins into the machine. It wasn't a huge thing, but it might be a factor for some. One other thing, the kitchen could have been a little better equiped.

Great location in old town with 3 separate sleeping spaces. (The loft is a twin bed.) We did have an issue with the hot water, but Maria was very responsive and worked hard to resolve the issue.

I A wonderful location right in the middle of the old city. Perfect for two couples. Maria was always available to help us with our questions. The only drawback is that you can NOT park anywhere near this property as the listing says. The nearest parking lot is a 15 minute walk away and you need to plug the meter every day by 9:00am. Other than that the property was perfect.

Please be aware that some information regarding this property is inaccurate and misleading. The property is well presented and conveniently situated in the historic centre of the old city of Lecce, however as my wife suffers from mobility issues and is currently awaiting major orthopaedic surgery we specifically researched accommodation with onsite parking for our trip (as advertised at this property!) On arrival we found that the property is within the ZTL restricted traffic area and we had to park a considerable distance away in a “pay and display” car park leading to us having to curtail many of our planned excursions to the surrounding area and make frequent trips to feed a parking meter while our rental car enjoyed a more restful vacation than we did.

Wanting to see more of Puglia, my family and I anchored in Lecce for 4 nights. The apartment was in a great location, spacious, and pretty. The small courtyard made drying clothes easy. The only parking was paid parking outside of the ZTL, and the meter had to be maintained, which meant that my husband and to wake up and pay each morning before 9:00. We always found a parking spot as we came and went from the city, but a couple of times, that seemed like a small miracle. Additionally, there is AC in only one bedroom. We used the provided fan to pull the cool air through the apartment at night since we strayed there in July. I can imagine that the apartment gets warm only a couple months a year, as the vaulted stone ceilings kept things fairly comfortable even when it was stifling outside. Our host was responsive and helpful. We enjoyed our stay and would return to this location, for sure.

Spacious, clean and a great location. Full sized kitchen was great as well as the private patio. The location could not be better, and for the size of this place it is a great value. The hosts picked me up at the airport and made everything as easy as possible. My only complaint is that the neighbors above are a bit loud, talk loudly until late hours. You can only hear this with the back door open (Master Bed). If you close it, then no noise. Great place, you won't be sorry.

We had a wonderful time in Lecce and Maria was a very helpful and gracious host. The apartment was in a great location, with shops, restaurants and historical sites in short walking distance. The apartment itself was also lovely, with all the amenities we needed for our 3 night stay. We would highly recommend!

Property was exactly as advertised. Maria was an incredibly gracious host picked us up from the train station (twice). The location is the absolute best in Lecce and we went out most nights. Only thing to note is that only one bedroom has AC. Would definitely stay again!

The apartment was immaculate with every thing you will need to relax and e joy beautiful Lecce and the surrounding cities. We did buy and leave a larger espresso maker 🤗. The hosts are very helpful and accommodating! We will return!

This has been the best vacation rental experience I’ve ever had. The hosts are so kind and helpful. They went above and beyond to make sure that we had an easy check in experience. The property was beautiful and spacious. The location was also wonderful. We were right in city center within walking distance to many restaurants and shops. Great old world feel inside and out at this apartment. Location can't be beat. Maria met us and helped us get our luggage to the apartment. She communicated very well and is a good hostess. We were sorry to leave and would enthusiastically return to this property!

Simply put, stay in this apartment/house for its ideal location in Lecce's historic centre, easy access to the Adriatic & Ionian coasts by car, and very welcoming and accommodating hosts! Positive features only, among them: - Unbeatable location: Located right in the middle of the buzzing old town, yet on a quiet quaint residential street. Immediate access to main sights, main squares with stunning architecture, restaurants, etc. A magnificent sandstone church marks where to turn off to find your Lecce home. Live like a local...and one who lives well. - Spacious & comfortable interior with useful amenities: Bedrooms with high vaulted sandstone ceilings, large beds with good mattresses, full-sized kitchen with all necessities, two bathrooms (each with a shower!) & even a laundry room with excellent washing machine & laundry sink! - Gracious hosts: The hosts are doing everything right. They ensure that you feel welcome upon arrival. They reply to texts, answer questions & make recommendations, showing that they genuinely care. Good, good people. - Access to beaches on both coasts: Exit the city extremely easily to access highways to idyllic beaches on either the Adriatic or Ionian beaches. - Excellent price: Very reasonable price for all of the above. I would so recommend it for anyone wanting to experience staying in the heart of the Lecce, yet enjoying the peaceful and calm surrounds the property gives. Right from the start Maurizio and Paola were wonderful hosts. Meeting us outside the City wall and guiding us though the narrow streets of old Lecce to drop off our luggage. They were very attentive to any queries or advice we needed. One of the highlights of our stay was visiting Maurizio in his wine shop and learning more about his passion for natural wines. On our departure he even transported our luggage to the our car, saving us negotiating the return trip into the historic centre. The apartment is only a matter of minutes from the centre of Lecce, so all the churches and restuarants are very close. We also used our car to explore other areas. We went to Gallipoli, Porto Cesareo (lovely beach), Alberobella and Ostuni. The apartment is spacious and very stylish. Because of the thick walls it remains cool even in the heat of the day. We spent 6 weeks in Lecce and would happily return for 6 more. The apartment is charming and exactly as described. No surprises! Maurizio and his wife were very accommodating and helpful - especially so as they live close by. We did not have a car and were able to walk to groceries, restaurants, coffee bars and shops as well it was an easy walk to the train station. Perfectly situation in a lovely town, we highly recommend the property!

Maurizio and Paola are excellent hosts. The property, for us , could not have been a better location. This wonderful VRBO, in the middle of Lecce, allowed us to explore the city by walking everywhere, every day, and was a wonderful home to return to from the various road trips we took, exploring Puglia. We loved it !

The apartment was in an excellent location and met all our needs. You can walk to everything you might want or need. Maurizio was an exceptional host. One of our group had a medical issue on Sunday, of course, and Maurizio went well beyond the call of duty to help us. He is a 10 star human being.

My husband and I stayed in this apartment in Lecce for 2 weeks in August with our 2 children aged 12 and 14. It is very well looked after with the perfect mix of modern decoration with original features. The kitchen is well equipped and a good size with plenty of room for cooking and eating together around the table. The outdoor space is a really pretty private courtyard and a lovely place to have a glass of wine in the evening. The location is ideal for exploring the beautiful streets of the old town and is a stones throw from the churches, cathedrals, bars and restaurants. Maurizio is a perfect host - from communication at the time we booked to meeting us when we arrived and ensuring we had everything we needed for our stay. He made some excellent recommendations for the local restaurants and beaches and if you’re into natural / skin contact wines he has a shop close by where my husband and I bought some very delicious wines!! We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this apartment. Lecce is a beautiful city and the apartment made our stay exceptional.

A beautiful and well appointed apartment accessible to everything you might want from this incredible baroque city in the enchanting land of Puglia. Maurizio and Paola are wonderful hosts, helpful and generous in all aspects. The apartment is exactly as listed, airy and fresh, clean with everything you might need. The small courtyard is perfect for morning coffee or an afternoon aperitivo. Everything is walking distance yet the location still feels private and away from all the tourist traps. Maurizio has a wonderful wine shop and we spent part of a day enjoying tasting his local wines and chatting about the region and it's history. I can't recommend a visit to this city and a stay in this wonderful apartment enough. Many more than five stars in my book.

Owner (who lives next door) was extremely helpful. He went out of his way to our stay was seamless The apartment worked well for the four of us. Kitchen was well equipped beds comfortable. The position could not have been better, close to the action, including the morning coffee, yet quiet. We would love to return

Maurizio is a charming landlord, very helpful and the apartment was lovely. The location is great for the centro historico, easy walking to everything despite being off the beaten track. However, the neighbours beside and above the apartment rise early and so if you are light sleepers like us you will probably be woken around 6 a.m. by the sound of heavy footsteps, showering etc above - though no noise from voices or TVs etc. The picture of the courtyard looks nice but is a little deceptive as it is actually a car park for the residents living around it so there are often 5 cars and so it is not as quiet as we had hoped. Maybe we are a little naive but if the picture showed the cars we would have had a different expectation.

Spacious apartment in the center of Lecce

Hosts were very welcoming and helpful.

Two bedroom, two bathroom renovated apartment in the historic old town and only 50 metres from the main shopping and eating strip. Ideal for our two couples with well equipped facilities and finishes. Host Maurizio met us just out of the restricted traffic zone and led us to the apartment to unload and then to the 5 euro a day secure parking area to leave our cars. Then a lift back to the apartment for a stress free start to our stay. We couldn't have asked for a better welcome. Tried a couple of his dining recommendations and both winners, particularly Fresco for cheap and cheerful seafood. Highly recommended property for facilities, host assistance and location.

The highlight of our trip to Lecce was staying in a wonderful apartment walking distance to all attractions. Maurizio and Paola went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. The apartment was huge, quality king size beds with linen to match. A welcome pack was sitting on the table when we arrived which was really appreciated. Everything was provided and top quality and spotlessly clean. It’s not always you get to meet your hosts but Maurizio went out of his way to meet my friend at the bus station, take her to town to show her key points. I arrived a little later and Maurizio was most generous with his time, also recommending restaurants, printing out our tickets for us and even Paola recommending a hairdresser.
