Great staff, great location. Far enough from the waterfront to be a bit quieter.

Still a bit loud at times, but that is Santa Marta. If you want silence, Colombia is not for you.

the sheets did not fit the bed and therefore I never really got a good nights sleep.

Near to the beach

The view from the balcony was incredible, beautiful sunsets everyday. We also liked most of the front desk staff and also the cleaning ladies, they were really kind when we asked for extra pillows. I saw reviews saying the AC was loud but it wasn't the case for us, ours was new. Breakfast was good. It's an old building but overall it is what you expect for what you pay. The beach in front is pleasant.

We really underestimated the level of noise from the street we could hear from our room, it was really really loud. If you like to sleep early or are a light sleeper I do not recommend staying in this hotel (maybe not in Rodadero altogether). That being said, due to the amount of people on the street at night we felt really safe. The bed wasn't comfortable and they do not provide towels for your face or the bathroom floor. Shower had zero water pressure and the temperature oscilated between warm and cold (which is better than 90% of the area's hotels apparently). Breakfast could also improve, there wasn't any fruit, although we liked the eggs and arepa.
