We enjoyed our stay- because we are older, grab bars in lower bath would be good and lighting in living area could be better. Beautiful view -upstairs is spacious lovely

Great location. Great house. Great view. The whole booking/rental process was easy.

We spent a week at Seafarer over Thanksgiving. The house is clean and spacious. The location is unbeatable. We loved being able to step outside and walk along the coast. Or go the other direction to grab coffee at a lovely local cafe.

Seafarer is a beautiful and well crafted home, and sits across the street from the gorgeous seaside of Pacific Grove. Whether you are sitting on the lovely upstairs balcony off the master bedroom, taking your coffee down to a nearby bench along the water, or cooking on the professional grade appliances in the well appointed kitchen (always something we value), you really don't need to stray far from the house to seriously achieve relaxation. The beds were also awesome, and the decor is calming and peaceful. We were absolutely delighted with this property!

We had a wonderful stay here. The few concerns we had were vastly outweighed by the positives. The concerns were mainly that most of the windows don’t have screens, so we had to decide between mosquitos and sounds of the waves (we chose the waves) and some windows we had to keep closed for risk of small children climbing/falling out. We also had to rearrange all of the cute decorations to keep our toddlers from breaking any of them, but I can imagine guests without small kiddos enjoying the decor, which reinforces the ocean theme. The location is fantastic. Wonderful view of the ocean from the primary bedroom. Fine amount of parking. And walking distance to so many places. The bed was comfy, and the whole house encouraged hanging out and relaxing. We hope to get to stay here again, and sooner than later!

There were 6 ladies for 3 nights in this delightful residence. We were very pleased with the accommodations, beds were very comfortable and nights peaceful. The decor was very soothing and location perfect. Would recommend this property.

Rental was really nice property in a great location. It was clean. Suggest that they make more towels available. The shampoo and conditioner was watered down. Other VRBOs we’ve rented provided more games, books, cooking utensils/pans. Overall I highly recommend the property.

We spent 4 days at Seafarer and will always remember them. Waking up to the view of the bay each morning and seeing otters, seals and even whale blow holes was amazing. The house was immaculately presented and had every conceivable item in the kitchen you could need.

My family and I stay in Pacific Grove every Christmas. While we always stay at a different house, should this be available I plan on pitching the host (my father) of that trip on holding it here! Things that stood out beyond others: -beds were super new, clean and incredibly comfortable -all smart TVs, wifi was flawless for those lazy time slots -the view from the master deck is awesome, and the deck itself is larger than it seems pictured -master shower and bathroom was huge and made the day kick off amazingly -furniture seems brand new, is well decorated and comfortable -kitchen may not have condiments and such, but the owners more than make up for it with all the cooking, eating and drink ware one would need for a huge crew All is all, I’d recommend this to anyone looking for an ideal location, new everything and comfortable living space in Pacific Grove. PS you can see the seals on the beach from the dining table!

Great location and amazing view. It is right off the trail, a short walk from the cannery row. The house was clean and very well equipped. The only bad thing was VRBO - we couldn't connect to them via their phone numbers on VRBO and message system kept giving us automated messages. We googled the property management and with that number, we got connected right away and got all the information we needed. I would come back again.

The pictures really didn’t do it justice. The location was spectacular, the neighborhood was close to things to do but also felt tucked away and quiet. Across the street are the seals of pacific grove who were about to have babies! Great communication with the host. Look forward to returning.

This home is so beautiful and wonderfully situated that nothing short of a citywide power outage could make us leave early. Spectacular views, great gourmet kitchen and comfortably furnished as well as meticulously clean. We'll always remember the time the lights went out in Monterey! Sometimes the best trips are when things don't go quite as planned. Kyle at Monterey Bay Rentals provided great communication and promptly processed a refund for our lost night in paradise. We'll be back.

This place is fantastic! The view is spectacular and the house was incredibly clean and very comfortable! Would rent again.

There were at least 5 otters frolicking every day in the bay visible from the windows downstairs, as well as the wider ocean view visible from upstairs. The weather was nasty, which made it even more enjoyable to watch the water in comfort and warmth. The house is well-maintained, centrally located and simply lovely. My only suggestion would be to provide door mats inside the two entrances, so water doesn't get tracked on the floors. I finally put down a towel because it was rainy most of our visit, which did not impair our enjoyment a whit!

The house was wonderful as described. Walking distance to Cannery Row and easy access to all the sights. The house was clean with a great kitchen and plenty of space to hang out. Management was very responsive when contacted and followed up to make sure everything was working ok. We would definitely recommend and hope that we are able to come back.

Beautiful view from the house, and fantastic location just a quick walk to the aquarium or downtown Pacific Grove. Kitchen was fully stocked and the appliances were in great condition. My only complaint was the shag rug under the dining table (inevitably food bits fell off the table and then got lost in the long shag, ick).

Wonderful location right by the coastal path, well appointed house and direct views over the ocean. What more to want?

Perfect for 5 adults. 1 infant. Very convenient to walks along water. Also cannery row. Great upgrades. Do need to update info in instructions regarding garbage days. Almost missed trash until heard truck going by on first cycle. Overall instructions were excellent and reminders much appreciated.

Perfect place for a family of 5

This lovely home, directly across from the ocean, is very conveniently located for walking to various trails, restaurants, and the Aquarium. The kitchen is well equipped, and the intimate dining room seats six comfortably. Our only small issue was that the outdoor garbage cans were overflowing when we arrived on a Monday afternoon (supposedly garbage pick-up day). Therefore, it was impossible to empty the various waste baskets in the house immediately prior to our departure. Apparently, staff assigned to put the garbage cans out on the curb forgot to do so! Otherwise, our stay was comfortable and relaxing.

We loved everything about the house and location. Waking up to the waves and seals and deer, was magical. The amenities were all top of the line, making the entire stay perfect from start to finish. I wish we could’ve stayed longer. Thank you Monterey Properties

We stayed in this home for 5 days with my parents, my husband, and our 18 month old son. The home is lovely and kept in great shape. It is also very walkable - many days we never got into the car. You have the option to walk into Monterey or Pacific Grove for meals, which provided many options. We often spent the afternoon at Lover's Point beach playing in the sand. We would absolutely come back!

What an amazing home! We had 6 adults and two children stay in this lovely home and it was perfect. Plenty of space, recently updated, close to everything, full of amenities (whole home stereo, new TVs, new appliances, efficient/quiet HVAC, etc) and above all quiet despite being near the water and the road. Really fantastic! We love it so much, we are planning to come back. The one thing everyone needs to be aware of is the driveway (which will fit two large cars nose to tail). Because the neighborhood is old, the driveway does not have a smooth transition to the street. You essentially have to drive up a curb. I had a minivan and it definitely scraped the undercarriage on the street because of the extreme angle. Others had SUVs and crossovers, and they were fine. I would assume this would be very difficult for a sedan and a sports car would be a non starter. Just something to be aware of before you arrive. The good news is, there is plenty of parking on the street nearby and the neighborhood is safe. Can't wait to come back!
