Greatly disappointed in the condition of the property. Screen door falling off, outlets coming out of walls, toilet handle broke, no hand towels or washcloths. All of this told to property manager and owners husband. Nothing done. When I emailed owner I was asked why I waited until last day. We had been reaching out to property manager all week with no response. Pool area was absolutely gorgeous. Not 100 steps from house to beach. 100 steps from their beach access point. Misleading.

Nice place water issues in toilets and did not show us how to turn on hot tub. It was great time.

This house comes with a beautiful natural setting including a picturesque pool with shaded areas, an elevated deck with large table, and natural landscaping throughout the property. It is off the beach but only requires about 200 (not 100 as listed) steps once from the property line. The wifi is strong and available anywhere on the grounds including the pool area. The location is convenient to the airport, restaurants and main shopping areas in town. The house itself is dated in terms of appliances, fixtures, counters, cabinets, and cookware. For example, there are only 2 shelves in the fridge, there is no bathroom mirror in the upstairs 1/2 bath, and there is only full silverware for 5 guests. Also, to list the house as 5 bathrooms is not accurate as really there are 3.5 plus a poolside shower. Directions to the house need to be updated as Waze does not help if you search by 62 Turtle Cove Rd or 62 Lower Bight Rd. The directions should note that if coming from the airport, you take Lower Bight Rd. and the house (called Palmetto Place) is on the left just before Delancy Ln.

This wasn't the best experience for us and we ended up leaving after 2 days; first the positives; it is a beautiful place with a great location. Eventually this is going to be a fantastic place for groups to stay. The property manager was extremely nice and helped us whenever we needed anything. There was a wasp nest under the table on the deck; when we pointed it out he immediately went and bought spray to take care of it. We wanted a cooler to take drinks to the beach; he went to the other property and brought one back for us. Unfortunately there were other issues though. The washing machine was broken leaving us no way to do laundry (we all packed light knowing they had a washer available). The TV was not only physically broken but even when you could get a picture on the screen, the streaming services weren't working. I tried to plug in a lamp in the bedroom only to find that the outlet end had been cut off. Ultimately, it feels as if this place wasn't quite ready to be rented out. While they refunded our unused days, it still leaves us taking a financial hit because you don't get the VRBO fees refunded so we were out $500. Very frustrating.

Villa is older but well maintained/ clean and in line with pictures posted. Pool/outdoor area was exceptional and made our stay. Plenty of lounge chairs and sectional seating, some with overhead covering to get out of the sun. Nice outdoor dining table above the pool area. Beach access is a short walk and can go back and forth to beach and house easily The neighborhood is safe and secure, very private with just a few large villas nearby. Host Konnor was very responsive when we needed him and all of his recommendations were great. We could snorkeling right at our beach and had great restaurants located nearby ( short ride in car or taxi)
