We had a marvelous long weekend at this beautiful home. Everything is as pictured on the site and it worked perfectly for our family. WiFI great. TV screens everywhere so we could see our beloved Phillies fall to Houston wherever we turned ; (. The beach is literally steps - lots and lots of stairs to get down to it - away and great fun to stroll at low tide. Surfing is wonderful - my sons brought their boards - and uncrowned. This was our first stay with Vacasa and they were a terrific managing agency. Only issue was that the next door neighbors had a contractor in doing an exceedingly noisy construction project all day Saturday making it impossible to be near much less in or outside the house. Of course we realized Vacasa had no control over this, but it was a reminder that when you rent a house in a neighborhood it is not the same as the Four Seasons! What really made the trip was the homeowners. The kitchen was well stocked, there were games for the children, and the overall feeling was one of gracious hospitality. Bravo to the family and to Vacasa. Although we are East Coasters, we hope to find a way to return soon!

House is beautiful and the location and view are perfect.

The house was fabulous. Well equipped. Had problems with the BBQ Grill and two bed frames broke. Took Vacasa two days to respond to our repair request. Finally got it fixed on the last day. Only had use of half the garage as the owner had his UTV in it. One of the beds was actually a full, not a queen. But we survived and loved it.

Beautiful home, spacious and well appointed, the 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms were ideal size for our group of friends from AZ, NV & TX to host a reunion for our bestie’s marquee birthday. Loved it! Wish we could have stayed a 2nd week!

Great home and location. Excellent home to get your ocean fix and R&R. Only thing missing was an umbrella so you could enjoy the patio in the afternoon. Cheryl H

This was the best equipped rental that we have ever seen. The place was immaculately clean, and well maintained. All of the comforts were there, and more. The whole group loved the place. A heads up to future renters: there are a lot of stairs, including getting into the front door. Also, be very cautious when lighting the outdoor fire bowl.

Everything was top notch and there was plenty of plates, bowls, cooking pots, etc. The one thing that surprised us was a lack of wine glasses. Only 7 for a house that sleeps 13. Also 4 corkscrews and none worked. We used our own. I accidentally left my headphones in my room and called within an hour of checking out. No word yet (4 days) on if they were recovered.

We live locally and I have rented other beach houses in Encinitas before. This one was far and away the best. It has everything!! Plenty of parking too!!!

The listing for some rental properties say, "this place has everything." This property has at least two of everything, and then a lot more. The location is top notch with fantastic views out the back deck. It's a short walk to the beach which is fantastic for walking and (apparently) surfing. There's a great coffee shop/cafe within a ten minute walk. It's in a perfect neighborhood on a quiet one-way street, the kind of neighborhood where people talk to each other on the street and say hi to strangers and visitors.

Encinitas has a great vibe with a nice downtown area. This was our first trip here and we loved it.

Back to the house, it is truly over-the-top. We cooked multiple gourmet (for us) meals in the fully equipped kitchen, and spent hours around the fire pit on the deck.

The rooms are spacious with comfortable beds and plenty of towels. There is great wi-fi and throughout the house and outside, a multi-room stereo and wide screen TV's in every bedroom.

The property manager was very responsive but we didn't really need him for anything.

Rent this place in total confidence. It is nicer than the home you live in by a long stretch.
