The condo was very nicely furnished. The kitchen has everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable. The view from the balcony was beautiful and we also enjoyed the Bay Balcony. Sapphire didn’t have too many beach chairs to rent, so we went to Sonny’s Beach Service, next door at Margaritaville everyday to rent chairs and umbrellas. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back!

Absolutely wonderful! We have stayed here in years past and it does not disappoint. Beautiful, large rooms; incredible views; well furnished spaces and I especially love their well stocked kitchen for after a long travel day and you just can't hit the grocery store. Love having the ziplocks! Oh! And we discovered their "Closet of Wonders" stuffed with boogie boards, footballs, sand toys and even a wagon to bring all the gear to the beach. We will definitely be staying there again.

Condo was clean and just as described

We had an excellent time at this property! The condo was as-advertised and came with lots of great amenities. We really appreciated that they also had a wagon, beach chairs, shovels, boogie boards and all kinds of beach toys available for use. We also appreciated the very clear instructions and the information sheet that the owners provided. It really helped us with planning our trip. Sapphire is a beautiful property and they maintain it well. Very easy to access the pool/beach. We used the gym as well. We also appreciated that they closely monitor who is on property and don’t allow large groups to rent for spring break. One side note: since the units are large, it would be nice if they would allow two families to rent one unit during spring break, but that’s not a big deal. I would definitely recommend this unit to a family or couple.

This is our second time staying at the Sapphire in December. This time was even better as the new Margaritaville(sister property) is open right on the property with a heated pool and bar and grill. No more construction. Our unit was perfect and had all that you need for a fun family beach visit. Tom and Shelley are very helpful and available for any questions or issues. Hope to return same time next year!

The location, amenities, cleanliness were great. Part 1: beach - the condo has everything for the beach.. cart, chairs, mats, plenty of surfing accessories and the thanksgiving weekend with only a little sun was still warm enough to surf through the forenoon and afternoon with convenient showers before the gate back into sapphire . Part 2: jacuzzi was warm and refreshing. Hardly anyone there during thanksgiving. Part 3: the visit to Starbase production hub and the launch tower was every bit as exciting as I hoped. Even though we missed the starship heavy launch just the Saturday before, we got enough views of the nose cones and booster . Love how hands on spacex is and generally how unpolished but busy the area is which shows focus on the biggest priority engineering aspects of getting us to moon and mars. Any non citizens would be well advised to bring green cards or uscis documents for the immigration check stations on way back from starbase and through kingsville. All in all this condo was definitely worth the premium price and I felt we got good value for the pretty penny. Thanks to the hosts who enabled our stay and we’re always a message away. Small cons were that the check in staff at sapphire were not ready for us and the vrbo system did NoT transmit check in checkout info which wasted half to one hour of coordination to get sorted out. But those were small aspects that pale in comparison to the time we had and I’m sure it will be remedied .

Our experience overall was fantastic. From booking the room to checking out. Everything went smoothly. The rooms were very clean and they had extra towels for us to use. The owner’s have beach equipment for example floats, beach balls and a cart, so you do not have purchase anything of that when you visit. I loved the kitchen, it was well organized and they had everything you one needs to cook. My experience there was great! I contacted the owner not knowing that their wifi information was already noted in the kitchen, and they answered me very quickly providing the wifi information. Very kind owners. I would definitely book again.

We had a great stay at South Padre this year. This is year 3 of us staying here at this condo and as always it was fabulous. Tom & Shelly maintain a great space.

Very enjoyed

My family loved staying at Tom and Shelly’s place! The condo was VERY clean with all the amenities listed. We loved sitting on the balcony with the amazing view of the gulf! Communication was great, Tom and Shelly were quick to respond with any questions I had. I will definitely be booking with them again when we make the trip to SPI!

We had an amazing stay! We had an issue, but the hosts were quick to respond and made it easy for us to do what we came there to do - which was relax and enjoy the beach and each other. The WiFi was fast, the condo was clean and the beach gear included was so convenient for us. We stayed over the 4th of July holiday and the Bayside Balcony made it so convenient for us to sit, relax, have cocktails and watch the fireworks without having to deal with traffic or crowds. We had an amazing stay and look forward to enjoying this property in the future. A definite pleasure! Thanks Tom and Shelly for a wonderful vacation.

Overall great property and condominium rental. We have stayed at the Sapphire Resort several times and have always enjoyed our stay. Our condominium rental was probably one of the best. The view was great from the 17th floor and furnishing were well kept. The condo was clean and found no issues! I would recommend this place to anyone traveling to South Padre Island!! Perfect location, lovely condo, excellent communication with the owners and it was beyond clean and very well stocked. Property managers were responsive and helpful. The view is amazing and second to none. Excellent location on the island as it felt close to everything. Condo was nicely updated with newer appliances. We used the pool at the Margaritaville only since it was the only one heated. Condo contained everything you needed including beach chairs. We decide to rent beach chairs and umbrellas from Sapphire though due to convenience of them being on the beach. There was some loud banging in the morning some of the days because they were doing construction. Overall it was a great stay and I recommend it.

The Sapphire is a beautiful gem on the shores of SPI. This condo is better than the pictures. Immaculately clean, looked brand new. Very tastefully decorated. Has all the basics for a short stay or at least to get you started. Kitchen is well stocked with utensils and a few herbs and spices. If we were staying any longer than 4 nights we would have had to buy additional basics such as toilet paper, laundry soap and dish washing tablets. There are TVs in literally every room.. The views are unbeatable. We especially loved the bayside views from the bay balcony… However December weather I guess is quite unpredictable in SPI and there was really dense fog for half our stay and we could not enjoy the views as much as we hoped we would. The Sapphire pool is gorgeous but not heated. Our kids dipped their legs in for a bit. They did enjoy the hot tub… The Pearl next door that has the heated pool was closed for renovations. Very easy communication with the owner Tom and he allowed us a later checkout which made our last day more relaxed… We hope to be back at SPI and will certainly not hesitate to stay here again!

My stay was very peaceful and the accommodation was exceptional. The photos do not do it justice. The rooms were much more spacious than they appear in the photos. This condo has been one of my favorite places to stay. It was a wonderful surprise!

We couldn’t have selected a better property for our first time renting a condo , very clean and the Owner was amazingly helpful there was a small problem with the thermostat but right away they contact us noticing the problem and the problem was taking care super fast, fast. My family will definitely stay at this location again, the view from the balcony to the beach is perfect breathtaking and peaceful. The beach was not crowded perfect time of the year to go!! the pool area are spectacular the kids totally enjoyed the atmosphere at the pool was extremely laid back. Loved that it was steps away from the beach, and the condo had beach items to use❤️ The Sapphire employees were friendly,helpful and by far the most very secure . Overall we enjoyed the entire experience could not have asked for a better place to stay!!! We will definitely be back!!!

I stayed here with my husband and daughter and everything about it was great! The home was beautiful- looks even better in person! The building and the condo itself had great amenities. The location was wonderful. The short walk to the beach was very convenient. We really enjoyed everything about our stay and hope to be back again! Thank you for everything

Beautiful views, great pools, easy beach access. The condo was spacious, well decorated, equipped with a full kitchen, bathrooms and beach items to fully enjoy our stay. The host answered calls and took care of issues immediately. I would definitely stay in this place again.

Perfect girls trip…very relaxing. The only thing that was bothersome is that you have to leave the condo..:go across the hall, in front of the elevators to go to the bay side balcony. Other than that, it was the perfect get away.

We greatly enjoyed staying in our condo. The view was fabulous and the condo neatly kept. Only downfall was the staff on site wasn't the friendliest. We would definitely recommend the condo itself though.
