We loved our stay at this property. The host was wonderful and attentive. The property was spacious and clean. Our kids loved the pool/hot tub and the game room. The kitchen was well-stocked. 5 minute drive to grocery store, 5 minute drive to Universal Studios.

The house was just as described. Having the game room was great - the kids loved playing pool and ping pong. The weather wasn't quite as warm as we were hoping but we still enjoyed the pool! It was nice to have a whole house to ourselves - we also enjoyed the location being so close to Universal Studios!

Wonderful Location and we enjoyed ourselves

I took staff to LA for a convention. This house was close enough to everything but very private. Communication with the owner was quick & easy. The house is as it appears on VRBO and was a nice place to stay.

Clean & spacious, perfect for 2 families. Plenty of beds and room to spread out. Kids loved the pool. Well equipped, plenty of dinnerware & cutlery for large groups. Questions were answered promptly. Large washing machine and drier which was great after the tiny ones we’d had in other places. Would stay again.

Great property! Loved most everything about it. Beds were super comfortable and bedding nice. Loved the large dining room table. Hot tub and pool were awesome. Washer and dryer worked well and were well used. Showers very clean and had good water pressure. We cooked a lot at the home..even Thanksgiving dinner! Love the abundant supply of plates,cups, glasses and silverware. Free days of just hanging out at the home were our favorite. 9 days of LA and surrounding area attractions,traffic and people is exhausting! There were 7 adults, 2 tweens, a teenager and a baby in our party. We stayed 9 nights. We have a few suggestions for improvements for large groups: need more and upgraded kitchen utensils and cookware. Cake pans and sheets are rusted. Worst can opener ever! Hated the toaster oven for toast…a cheap regular toaster would be a great improvement. Gas stove was a struggle. Igniter kept firing after burner was lit and flame strength hard to regulate. Need more living room seating for large group movie watching. A big ice chest cooler for day trips would be a super amenity! All in all, a great place to stay.

The description of this place and the pictures are all true! We had a wonderful time. We felt safe, clean and very happy! No need to call the host because the instructions needed are all there- They really thought of everything. Thank you we had a wonderful stay.

The property itself was nice, clean and very close to universal studios and restaurants, not quite sure walking distance is on a hill but if you like to hike you would love it. If not ubers will take you for a small fee. Our family enjoyed it.

Quiet and safe location close to Universal studio, the pool and fire table were nice to relax after touring all day. The bedrooms are well spaced for privacy and the beds, very comfortable. Well stocked kitchen, but we didn’t cook as food delivery was easy and quick. We will return, for sure!

We decided to go to Universal Studios and found this house pretty close to the park. It's about a 25 minutes walk to City Walk then another 5 to the entrance of the park. We opted to park there because the walk was too much for 2 of our kids. We got there and the 1st thing I found was a black widow, I contacted the owner and they came the next day to spray and get rid of the webs. This was much appreciated. The house is very Vintage with themes of old movies throughout. The beds were very comfortable, we all slept really well, and the house was big enough for all my kids to have their own rooms. We used the hot tub, and it was great after a long day at the park. This is a good house for a big family or multiple families, the neighborhood feels safe too. The garage didn't accommodate our SUV, but we have an Escalade , to give an idea about vehicle size. Alexa is throughout the house and controls a lot of things on the property, which we loved. Overall we did enjoy ourselves, and we would love to come back if possible.

Love the house! Super cozy. My kids loved the pool. The beds were extremely comfortable. It was nice to have a complete kitchen to cook breakfast for my family. The neighborhood is quiet. The backyard was an oasis. Great communication with the host. Quickly responds to questions. Will definitely rent with this host again.

Property was well-priced, clean, and in a great location. Management/ownership was also very easy to deal with, and checking in was a breeze. We even had a question/issue with some of the patio lights (as it’s a smart home), and someone was out the same day to take a look. Would book again!

Grandson, Dad, girlfriend, Grandma and her husband came to So CA to visit Nintendo World, water parks, and Six Flags. The Skyhill Pool accommodations were well situated and well appointed. Minor demerits for kitchen lacking some working elements and tools, but the home was very well managed by automation and very well appointed with flat screens in all bedrooms and in the living room. Indoor and outdoor fireplaces, a great pool with a hot tub. We enjoyed ourselves.

We had great 4 night stay. The house is close to many tourist attractions.

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was perfect for our family of 8. Everything in the has was in good working order and very clean. (not always true with other short term rentals). We loved the location close to Universal Studios. I would not recommend walking there, but it was an easy 5 minute drive. I highly recommend this house !!!

This was a fantastic property in a great neighborhood. Rooms were large. Games room was fun. Backyard pool and spa were awesome. Just wish the weather was nicer to spend more time out there TV’s in every room was a bonus. Words of advice - they only had one ply toilet paper - not too creamy soap. We bought toilet paper. There is no paper products for storage in the kitchen. No cleaning products except for dish soap and laundry detergent. This was a mild distraction to our overall experience. Would definitely return. We had a wonderful stay - the property is well-maintained, the bedrooms are generously sized, and the backyard is a dream. We were able to communicate easily and quickly with the property manager with any questions. We’ll definitely stay here again on a return trip to LA!

What we liked: Pool was heated and hot tub was very nice. Kitchen was well laid out. Neighborhood was very quiet. Dishes, silverware, glasses were plentiful and it's a nice set of bedrooms rooms. Beds were nice, no sqeaks etc. AC/Heat worked well, we used both. Also, gas fireplaces were actually helpful. Pool and ping pong tables were nice. Communications were excellent. Getting into the house was not an issue, instructions on how to use things were helpful. Things we wished were different: Wish it had a blender for making smoothies in the morning. Fry pans needed to be replaced. People that want to cook there may wish for better cooking supplies. Hot water turned to freezing cold when someone else turned on the shower. Very short garage for minivan and I mean a minivan barely fits. Roads up to the house are very narrow and steep; turns out this is common for hillside houses in LA, so not just an issue with this house just an FYI.

The house was wonderful and the location great - close to freeway. Small issue with the tv and house alarm codes but quickly resolved with the property management. Overall a fantastic stay.

For the money, I expected a little more extravagant. My homes in Nashville and Florida are nicer but over all the property was clean, seemed safe and the owners were very nice.

The house was amazing, clean, spacious and convenient! Whilst I was advise you still need a car to get to Universal (more for coming home as it is up-hill, quiet and tiring for young legs), the fact we got home in 5 mins, was fantastic. Great pool, outside area and lovely outdoor gas fire pit. Highly recommended.

Couldn’t ask for a better place to stay! House was in a perfect location, the pool and jacuzzi were so great to relax at. Everything we needed was at the house and if we return for another trip again, I’ll be renting this place again. Also, the communication between Darryl and myself was great. Always a quick response to whatever quest or need I had!

We are local, and booked this house for a long weekend because we needed to vacate our own house nearby for some repairs. I can attest, this house is in a perfect location for a family or group coming to L.A. to see the sights. Only a few minutes from Universal Studios and the Metro Red Line (to get to Hollywood and downtown), and all the great restaurants along Ventura Boulevard. The house is well equipped. The beds are as nice as any upscale hotel. The neighborhood is quite. And the pool, hot tub, and outdoor fireplace make for a very relaxing afternoon. The check-in and out was easy, and there are instructions throughout the house to help make the stay easy and enjoyable.

My wife and I decided to do a get away with some close friends and I must say that this house was a great choice. Each couple had their own room and bathroom. The house was clean and kitchen fully stocked. We really enjoyed the outside area. Being able to hang out and there was plenty of space if one of us just wanted a minute to ourselves. I also want to say Darryl our POC was super responsive and polite. We had such a nice time that we’ve decided that LA will be our new meeting place and I can see us wanting to stay here again.
