Clean and secluded

Desert Sky Hideaway is a very nice, modern home with the perfect set up for a group of friends or family looking to spend some time together. Very large and open kitchen and living areas allow for maximum gathering space. Location is close to BBNP, all things Terlingua, and even Lajitas. It’s a good mid point base station for all the area’s activities. While the home is situated amongst other dwellings, it is somewhat nestled amongst the dunes making it feel more isolated and private than it really is. Star gazing out front is phenomenal as are morning sunrises on the front porch. Experience with property management was all positive. Would definitely recommend this one based on our numerous stays in the area.

Desert Sky Hideaway is a cool property. The house perfectly fits the vibe of Terlingua and the surrounding desert beauty. It was clean, quiet, well-appointed, and large enough to spread out. Big Bend National Park was a short drive and local eateries were within walking distance. The management company was accessible. They also provided thorough check-in directions and instructions.

We really enjoyed our time at this rental. It was exactly as described, good communication with host/property management. Quiet. Space to spread out. Loved the front porch view of the mountains. We ate many meals at the rental and we had everything we needed. Nice distance from the park. Would definitely stay again.

Excellent place to stay when visiting Big Bend!

My husband and 2 kids (ages 10 &12) stayed at this lovely home for a week during our 1st visit to Big Bend. The house was just as pictured - clean and plenty of room to spread out. We loved the huge dining room table - room for meals, games, and storage! It was great going out on hiking, biking, kayaking adventures, and then having a nice place to relax and unwind. The kids really appreciated the TV for their video games. The hosts were amazing - when we had a dead car battery, they got us in contact with someone who could quickly give us a jump start, and get going on our vacation again. We would love to come back and stay here again. Thanks for everything!

Walking distance to Starlight Theater, Milagro Coffee and more. Great location for Big Bend National Park. Loved the house, easy to find, very clean and great hosts.

Great house with great proximity to national park. Be sure to have a vehicle with medium to high clearance to help you get to and from the house.

This is our second time in a property owned by the Ebys, albeit 13 years apart. The Hideaway was a great spot for us and our four daughters. We utilized the well appointed kitchen for a number of meals and appreciated the great access into the National Park. We will return for our next Big Bend trip!

Pasamos un buen tiempo

Very close to Terlingua Ghost town and Big Bend. Licely views and plenty of room for our group if 4 adults. Kitchen/dining area was great fir hanging out and reliving the day's adventures while cooking and sharing a meal.

This place is dreamy. The views out the front door are of the Chisos Mountains in Big Bend. The unit had everything we needed to have a much needed getaway. Daryl responded quickly to a request and was extremely accommodating. Hiking in Big Bend is not far and the drive is beautiful. We would definitely stay again next time we are in the area.

Really awesome and quiet place to get away. Well designed and maintained property. The perfect mix of rustic and creature comfort. Awesome place to stay while visiting the parks. Nice view at night as well if you like star gazing.

We stayed at this property for 3 days and it was a wonderful place for our family. The house is very clean and in a great location. I would recommend this property to anyone and look forward to coming back in the future.

The owners were easy to work with and the house had everything we needed to be comfortable. There is no cable so be sure to bring your sign in for Netflix, Disney, Amazon, etc.. to watch your favorite TV. We are avid hikers and it was close to the National Park. We enjoyed the house and saw roadrunners and coyote on the property. We would return and stay here again . LS

The sky views morning and night were stunning and the front patio offered good seating for the view. Accommodations were excellent.

This is the most PERFECT VRBO for Terlingua/Big Bend. We spent 2 of our days hiking in Big Bend. One night we ate at the Starlight Lounge and the other 2 we cooked in the VERY well stocked kitchen. I can't recommend this VRBO enough. We are looking forward to coming back soon!

We really enjoyed our stay. It was a great location right next to the ghost town, and not far from the west entrance to the park.
