All was great as far as the accommodation. No issues except the TV is on the small size and WiFi is slow.
Amenities nearby are good, Pool Hot Tub jets didn’t work as they should (only circulating pump was best they could do).

We had a great stay! House was perfect for our family. Clean, quiet, and cool. Close to the beach and mini golf and pool. Definitely on our list as places we’d love to stay again! Many thanks.

Lovely place! Lots of children around and our kids made friends! Beds very comfortable, well-appointed kitchen. Nice to have children’s books and games, and beach toys and chairs. Lots of fun!!!!! The beach was spectacular and we spent many hours playing and swimming at the beach. Kids loved the swimming pool. Thanks for the fans in the bedrooms!

Great location near beaches, other resorts and mini golf. Very quiet cabin and nice clean bedrooms. Couple of minor things that might matter to some renters - couches might be worn out and lack support so not super comfortable, patio wasn’t cleaned recently, couldn’t get TVs to work - printed instructions would have been helpful. Otherwise a great spot to base yourself to explore the area. Pool and toys are great for kids!

Our family enjoyed an 18 day stay over the holidays at this very comfortable, cozy cottage. The hosts were on top of the communication, the space was great for 6 adults and the location was exceptional.

We had a wonderful stay at Falcon rest. The place was clean and well equipped with everything we needed for our 6 days. We had our two little ones (1.5 and 3.5 yrs), and the place was perfect. There was a pack and play and some toys and books to keep them busy. The fenced in back deck was like a giant play pen, it was awesome. The location couldn’t be better, within 10 min of so much outdoor fun (beach, hikes, parks). We loved our stay, and Gene and Patricia were excellent hosts!

We enjoyed our multi- generational family stay in this well organized, clean home . The children’s toys and books in closet were a bonus. A mile walk to Rathtrevor beach through coastal forest. Quiet, safe neighborhood with pool, and minigolf recommend!

Overall the property was great. I hope you don't mind, but I cleared out the lazy susan cabinet for my own food. That would be my only suggestion - to leave one full cabinet empty for guests to use. Otherwise, the kitchen and bathrooms were well equipped. The fans were appreciated, although if we stayed there during a heat wave, it would be difficult. The kids lived in the pool - so that was a great feature. And parking for 2 vehicles is also much appreciated. Overall, I would stay here again for sure.

This property was great for our family vacation. It is well equipped for daily living and very comfortable. It was a quiet neighbourhood. The back deck was a great extension of the living space. Fans were in each room for when it got hot. Sand toys, a cooler and chairs to take to the beach were really appreciated. With children, ages 4 and 6, we drove to the Rathtrevor Park, just a few minutes away, which has a beautiful sandy beach. Great memories were created. Thanks Gene and Pat for providing a wonderful holiday home.

This was the most amazing home for some of our family that came from Calgary and Australia to spend time with us! It was superbly stocked, set up so well and filled with extras that were perfect for a family with a 5 yr old and a 3 yr old and any adults. Toys and puzzles etc made the little ones feel at home.The owners were very easy to work with and we would be thrilled to rent this unit again if it is available. Having this home away from home for our visiting family helped make our Xmas a very special one!

This cottage was so well equipped with all we needed…kitchen supplies, toys, boogie boards, books! Would definitely choose Falconrest again. The pool was fun for kids, as well as days at beach and Parksvill’s amazing Community Park.

Our family of 4 plus a dog had an amazing stay in this cottage and enjoyed our time in Parksville. Everything was very clean and well stocked. It was quite hot during our trip, so we appreciated the fans.

Owners had thought of everything. It was nice to have a welcoming Sav Blanc. Patio is private and quiet . Family liked that you had Netflix.

Ett riktigt komfortabelt hus med allt vad som behövs och lite till. Bra städat. Tydlig kommunikation. Centralt på Vancouver island. Stranden är cirka 2km från huset. Poolen på området var mycket uppskattat av barnen.

Absolutely Wonderful
This three bedroom cottage was everything we had wanted and needed to enjoy a wonderful visit with family. The spacious, fenced back patio was lovely. Any inquiries were answered promptly by the hosts. A travel cot/ play yard with linens and some toys were provided and we brought our own high chair. The on site pool was lovely to use on a rainy day. Loved the proximity to the road access and the recycling for easy daily clean up.

Great Location
Great central location on the island for us as we wanted to be able to head to Tofino or up to Courtenay/Comox or to just hang out at an awesome beach. Having two teenagers, it was nice for them to each have their own space. We also enjoyed the pool and hot tub every night we were there. Excellent facility. Owners were wonderful to deal with, check in/out procedures were clear and simple. We ate most of our meals at the cottage and were happy that the kitchen was well equipped with what we needed in order to do so. We rarely travel to the same places twice, but if we did, we would definitely stay here again.

Overall great location
Good check in process, comfortable furniture. There was some loose legs but tools were made available to fix issues. Check with owner to make sure everything is there upon arrival. Communication was great, very helpful and sorted out everything all issues promptly.

Awesome property, something for everyone
we have stayed at Oceanside many times over the last 15 years, we are never disappointed. normally we go thru the resort, but nothing was available for our time frame. I was so thankful to find Patricia and Gene's place, they are great host and everything was very easy. would reccommend

Fantastic Home Away From Home
We absolutely loved our time at Falcons Rest, such a warm inviting home to stay in. Everything is so well laid out and clean and there are wonderful little touches like the pet food bowls and dog bed for your fur baby, tub toys for kids, puzzles and games for your evenings at home. It's a quick walk to Rathtrevor Beach Park and an easy walk into town. If you are looking to vacation in Parksville, this is the place to book!
