Had a charity hunt and was perfect place to do hunt but stay away from the crowd

Perfect place for tournament fisherman, very private, yet in a nice community. Plenty of parking space for truck & boat. Property Manager was great and place was well stocked with cleaning & hygiene supplies, one might forget on a trip. The host left us a real nice unexpected welcome to the cabin gift!

Host was very accommodating. Had website problems so we had to communicate by phone. Lynn was very friendly. All you need to bring is your food items. Enjoyed our campfire and the cabin. We will stay there again.

This is our second time to stay at this cabin. And once again it did not disappoint. Always CLEAN and neat. We will come again! Lynn is always such a awesome hostess. We recommend this to a lot of our friends looking for a place.

Quiet cabin location. Wonderful solitude. Very clean and well appointed. Peaceful water view. The ROKU was a bit of a challenge for two senior adults, but we adjusted. Would recommend a large, heavy skillet for the kitchen and a pizza pan. :) I cook as much on vacation as I do any other time. Owner was very accommodating. Hope to return in the future.

This is a beautiful location, peaceful, well situated for exploring the area. The cabin was perfect, very clean and stocked with all the basics. Kitchen had plenty of nice cookware and plates, cups, glasses, etc. Everything about this place was well maintained. Owner was very pleasant. Would rent this property again.

We had a wonderful lake vacay at the cabin! We enjoyed time on the river, roasting marshmallows in the firepit, and relaxing in the cabin. The cabin was very clean and cozy.

Everything was exactly as described. Property was spotless. We launched kayaks directly from the property.

This adorable cabin felt like our own private oasis! My husband and I wanted to get away for a long weekend with our dog, and we’re so glad we found this property. The beautiful view of the lake can be seen from almost every room 😌🌊🚤 Everything was very clean! We were pleasantly surprised to discover Lynn left us a sweet card and cake in honor of our anniversary! 🥰 The welcome binder detailed helpful tips for house/TV, nearby restaurants, pet rules, etc. The master bed was very comfortable, with fluffy pillows and warm blankets. The bedroom had a large chest of drawers and luggage holder, great for unpacking and keeping things tidy during our stay. The bathroom could be accessed from bedroom or living room. The bathroom cabinets were stocked with several travel size toiletries and extra TP. The spacious shower felt so fancy with the nice tile! We enjoyed relaxing on the screened in back porch, sitting in the swing and eating at the picnic table. The huge backyard had lots of space to run around. My husband enjoyed playing soccer, and our dog loved playing fetch. The lot leads right up to the water, with two chairs near the bank to sit and enjoy the view. Our dog loved splashing and swimming in the lake! It was a little cool for us to swim, but if the weather was warmer, we would’ve dipped in too. We originally planned to bring our kayaks but had to leave them at home; definitely want to bring next time because it looks really easy to put in by the shore! You can even drive through the backyard to unload kayaks by the bank so you don’t have to carry them far. Service was sometimes spotty on parts of the property, but we enjoyed being able to unplug (plus the WiFi worked great, even down to the shore!) The hosts included several helpful items to use for the fire pit, like lighter fluid and matches. We had a blast cooking hot dogs and s’mores!😋 The kitchen also came well stocked with necessities for cooking & coffee/tea. The spacious fridge had an ice maker and filtered water. The laundry room included some detergent pods and dryer sheets. The cabin also had some board games, card decks, puzzles, books, and cornhole boards. We received clear and friendly communication from Lynn leading up to the trip. Check out procedures were simple and easy to follow. Lots of little thoughtful touches throughout the cabin made the whole experience feel like a true getaway! We’ll definitely be back— we’re already looking forward to our next trip! 🥰

Nice relaxing stay. We enjoyed the fire pit and the cabin was nice. Our dog enjoyed exploring the property too.

This is such a beautiful property. We enjoyed every second! ❤️ It was just what we needed to get away, relax, and unwind. It was perfect! We had lunch at The Outpost, and it did not disappoint! The food was Fantastic and we just loved the atmosphere, and the way it was set up like a little western town. So cool! We didn't realize we were only a few miles from Tennessee so that was an added bonus too! 😃 We loved everything about this property and the little town of Waterloo. We will definitely book with you again!

What a great place! I felt at home the minute I walked in and even better sitting out by the firepit (no fire so I could star gaze). A perfect getaway, in fact I could live there. And Lyn, the host, was absolutely amazing. I've always preferred paper maps and sometimes that means increased adventure, especially when road numbers change from TN to Alabama. I got good and proper lost and Lyn stayed with me on the phone through the tricky parts. What a huge help she and her husband were! Thanks so much, Lyn! And I could live at this place; so peaceful and just good feeling. Ahhhh.....relaxation, Thanks again!

This is a wonderful quiet , peaceful, beautiful little place tucked away at the end of the lake . Wonderful little cabin , if you are looking for a great place on the lake you should check this place out it is a Gem !!! The host Lynn is amazing , she makes sure you have everything you need . GREAT VENUE FOR FISHERMEN AND FAMILY GET AWAY. AS FISHERMEN , THE VENUE HAS RAMPS WITHIN 5 MIN DRIVE , AND THE SERENITY OF THE SITE IS AWESOME. I had a great experience at this property. I haven't physically met Lynn, the property owner, but you will feel like you know her. She made us feel welcome and at home. Her place was the most peaceful place. She went above and beyond for us. It was like a home away from home. All we had to bring was food and ourselves. The cabin is great. Thank you so much Lynn

We immensely enjoyed a quiet, peaceful stay. When we arrived, they had the lights on for us and muffins were waiting. It was clean and well stocked with items you might need to use or might have forgotten. It was well-decorated and perfect for two people. They even set up a fire for us in the pit and provided what might be needed for this. I would definitely stay again and wish I could have stayed longer.

My third visit to Angler's Lodge was just as good as the first two. I highly recommend this spot to anyone who wants a relaxing stay and beautiful scenery.

It was nice and peaceful. Had a fire in fire pit, played Corn hole, spades beautiful lake Pickwick was amazing. Scenery is great and water is nice! The screen porch is the best! I would revisit for sure

The cabin was perfect for our weekend getaway. It is well furnished and stocked with all the needed items. The views of the water from every spot in the house and on the wonderful screened in porch gave it that peaceful easy feeling we were looking for. As the owner says in the listing, the nearest towns for groceries or restaurants are a short distance away but we went out each day to see different sights in the surrounding areas. We ate out while we were out and about so being tucked away from everything was not a problem for us. Would definitely recommend to others and go back again some day. Lynn was great to work with, very attentive to our questions and a most gracious host.

Beautiful property. The inside was spotless and full of extras - towels, tp, paper towels, coffee and muffins for breakfast! Host was wonderful to work with! We can’t wait to visit again.
