The accommodations were nice and the location is very convenient to downtown . Only complaint was that we were notified two days before arrival that major exterior renovations were taking place during our stay. There were many construction crew working through out our stay, sometimes directly outside our doors and windows. While the construction crew was courteous and professional we felt like we should have been notified at the time of booking of the renovations. I likely would have chose different accommodation's and feel this is misleading. Having said that it is a nice property and location.

Beautiful!! This was a much needed weekend away! The condo was large and spacious and perfect for all of us girls! Walking in and getting the view of the lake is stunning, we were all blown away with the sunsets each night! Having a clean well equipped kitchen to cut costs on eating out is phenomenal, but we still enjoyed the short walk just over the bridge to town and the beach to eat, shop, rock hunt etc! Housekeeping will come and take care of your trash and give you clean towels if you put a sign on your door and the pool even has a sauna. After this experience it’s going to be hard for me to stay at a normal hotel again!

Very clean and able to walk to town. Fireplace was not working and the immediately came and fixed it. Place was just as the pictures looked. It was November so very quiet. Would highly recommend.

We always love spending our holiday weekend in Charlevoix! Our room on the water is great for our family! We love to sit outside and the view is great! The property no longer offers cots which would be nice to have for an extra person. There were four of us so I thought it was strange when I went to the front Desk and asked for two extra towels, since the room only came with two towels. The person at the front desk said that I would have to bring him two towels to replace with two new ones which I have never heard of before in any hotel. When I told him there were four of us, him and another front desk person brought two towels to our room which I thought was strange. When I asked for an extra blanket he questioned me again, telling me I should have one. I don’t ask for much when I go to hotels, but asking for two extra towels since I didn’t have enough and one blanket I felt like I was asking a favor especially since I didn’t ask for anything the rest of the trip. We always love staying at the Edgewater.I guess that was just a fluke thing because the lady at the front desk the next day was very friendly and welcoming .

The Edgewater Inn rental property uniquely offers the best waterfront views available in downtown Charlevoix. This particular end unit is on the first floor and has a larger living space than most of the other 1 bedroom units. There are several glass doors with breathtaking waterfront views. The unit has been updated and was very clean. While it felt private, we enjoyed watching the boats coming and going into Lake Michigan.

We have been staying at the Edgewater Inn for 35 years and look forward to it each year. The rates have gotten pretty pricey and due to this we are going to begin looking around the area for alternative lodging. You used to offer a 10% discount when staying 7 nights which you no longer offer. You should offer this as it also saves you money in turning over the condo cleaning wise less often. The majority of people we talk to only stay a night or two due to the cost. The manager and front staff were very kind and responsive to the concerns we had during our stay such as lack of hot water for showers. Think you should be able to opt out of housekeeping services at a slight discount. We prefer to clean up after ourselves and not have people coming into our rental each day. You also need to provide parking passes for renters cars when they check in. When we came back late at night, we were unable to find a parking space due to others not lodging at the Edgewater. Had to park on the grass on a slight hill.

When we walked in it was beautiful. But when we walked into the bedroom we noticed a mildew smell. I happen to have an auto disease, allergic to mold. We noticed it and talked to the lady at the front desk and asked for another room but she claimed everything was booked. So unfortunately I couldnt sleep in the bedroom.

I have stayed in many places across the country on my many vacations but, I have to stay this place was the best I have ever stayed in. This place was just like being home, clean beautiful and comfortable. Better than a five star hotel. Loved it and would go back anytime. I give it a six start out of five. I have to also mention that the lady at the front front desk was most accommodating and friendly.

Very pleasant time at this unit. Very much appreciate the gas log fireplace as the temperature was in the teens! Great view down Round lake with a stellar sunrise Saturday morning.
