This property was truly a hidden gem! Such a cute cozy cabin on a large piece of property! I stayed with my cousin and sister and we had a blast! So much to do from kayaking to swimming in the pond! The golf cart was amazing for checking out the property and getting to and from the lake to swim! The fire pit was a good way to end the night, Scott came down and made sure we got the fire going which was appreciated! Recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing yet fun vacation! Will definitely be returning in the future!

If you are looking for a quiet, peaceful stay away from everything, Cottonwood cabin is perfect for you! Carrie was an excellent host and helped with anything we needed.

If i could give 10 stars I would!! The property and amenities alone were so impressive! A quaint cabin with access to a grill (propane provided), fire pit (wood provided), and kayaking, just steps away from it all! Now let's discuss the owners.... THE MOST KIND AND GENEROUS PEOPLE!! They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was everything we were hoping for! My son has asthma, and forgot to bring his inhaler. On a whim i asked if they knew anyone close by that had an albuterol inhaler (the nearest hospital was 20 minutes away), and they asked around and brought us one!! The hospitality of these people was NEXT LEVEL! I will 1000% be returning, and have found my new home away from home!!

The property and cabin was nice. We came on a rainy weekend but still had some time for a little hike and fishing. Most memorable times was just sitting outside listening to the rainfall and hanging out with our host dog Denali. She will put a smile on your face for sure. The host was very kind and communicative throughout the entire stayed. Great get away from the noisy city life.

Great place to bring the kids. Many activities boating, golf cart riding, big fires, and lots of fishing. They supplied everything from the wood to the kayaks. Will be returning for sure.

We had an awesome overnight stay at the Stone Ranch. The cottonwood cabin was perfect in so many ways. My boys loved the ranch dog Denali and having a go at catching a chicken. Fishing, golf carting, paddle boating, s'more making, and getting lost from the hustle of city life made our stay splendid.

Got to spend a couple days away from the city and just relax. Enjoyed it,very peaceful.

Both my husband & I had a wonderful time! Beautiful woods, peaceful & quiet & we loved the overall remoteness! We definitely plan on going there again when we can get a break from the craziness of the city, work, noise, etc etc! Thank you for being so attentive & Carrie helping us out! We loved our stay at Cottonwood Cabin. It was so peaceful, there are only 3 cabins in the loop. The fire pit and grill area were so nice and the creek was a nice addition!

It was everything they said it was. Had a great time. Got to fish. They were very kind and amazing to deal with. Thank you so much.

Property was perfect! This is a wonderful get away spot, not in town! My daughter and I loved it, would definitely return. Owners are wonderful and very thoughtful, wanting to make your stay is perfect.

Have you ever needed to run away from home? That was where we were. What we found waiting for us was a pure blessing. Usually we meal plan, but this time we packed our clothes, the dogs and left home. We got to the cabin and realized we did even food for dinner. After visiting with Carrie and Scott we settled in. One of our daughters wanted to take me for a ride on the golf cart. When we got back we found out that Carrie and Scott had made a special trip to town and brought Subway for our family. So heart warming! The girls loved the golf cart and what can we say about the wonderful camp dog. The cabin was so cozy and such a good experience for our family. The only down side is our black lab puppy thought we had moved to heaven. Thank you Scott and Carrie for sharing your piece of heaven with us. We will do this again. This was a great place to have a little get away. Plenty of fishing opportunities and a way to get out of town for a couple days. Overall a great experience.

My family spent a long weekend in the Cottonwood Cabin. It is a tiny space but it was clean & had everything we needed. We weren't there to sit inside anyway! The kids LOVED fishing (we caught SO many fish starting on the 1st cast), the golf cart, kayaking in the creek, smores at the campfire, & the animals. It was so hot that weekend I was worried I wouldn't be able to sleep but the air conditioner did a good job keeping us cool. The hosts were fantastic, responsive, & helpful. We had a great time & would recommend it to anyone.

Our weekend at Stone Ranch Cabin Rentals will be an experience we will always be talking about. Our cabin was clean, cosy and cool. The property was well maintained and Scott and Carrie were available for anything we might need. We are big on fishing and were blown away by the amount of quality AND quantity of fish we caught! Some of the ponds were lacking in water as they are everywhere this year but that did not stop us from catching many large mouth bass. The trip down the river was beautiful , relaxing and still caught more fish! Denali, the dog host stole our hearts! If she wants to ride with you in your golf cart, let her. Definitely not her first rodeo! Most certainly an amazing experience for us and plan to return!

They gave us a complimentary bottle of wine for our anniversary. The property was beautiful. We wish the weather was better so we could of enjoyed all activities. The dog was great but woke us up for about an hour barking. We had ants in the kitchen it the morning. We had a great time and would definitely recommend.

Brought our dirt bikes, but spent more time swimming, fishing and kayaking than bikes. Great “glamping” experience. AC and roku tvs with bathroom/ showers, micro kitchen and golf carts for each cabin This isn’t the Ritz. It’s someone’s masssive property with small, well kept cabin dispursed. It’s what you want if your kids won’t get off tick tok, and you want to spend real time fishing, swimming, kayaking, grilling and hanging around a fire. If you have access to atvs and dirt bikes bring them. Great time. Kind of sad we’re back in Overland Park.

Simplistic - not lavish. Very much what we needed as a break from the hustle and bustle of city-life. My husband and I brought our lab who was in heaven the entire time. We fished, relaxed, cooked out - it was great! Thank you for sharing your property with us!

Hosts were super welcoming the property was beautiful. We enjoyed having visits from Denali and hosts answered any questions promptly and quickly. I would stay here again. Blessings over their land.!!

We had a great Valentine’s Day weekend there as it was peaceful and quiet. We will be back this summer with the kids for the fishing, kayaking, and atv riding! The hosts were very accommodating as well.

My husband & two of our employees went to stay the week. He could not stop raving on the property, the cabins, the ponds, the fishing, and the overall accommodations & how friendly the owners were! The fished the ponds & rode the property on one of their golf carts, and loved every minute of it! Anything they needed Scott had an accommodation for it! They cannot wait to go back! The owners main concern was keeping their guest comfortable & happy & that makes a HUGE statement in itself! My husband went as a rental customer & left with a friendship with Scott!

We enjoyed having a nice creek to karaks (furnished), good fishing, a place to swim, and room to explore. The place and the owners are great, the roosters and fellow campers were noisy, and the friendly dog didn't know when to quit. Overall, a beautiful place to stay.

The cabin has the amenities needed for a basic stay. Nothing fancy but everything worked and the location was perfect. There were several ponds on the property that you can walk to or pay $20 for a golf cart and drive around to all of them. Fishing was great. Catching bass almost every cast. Nothing huge but it was fun nevertheless. Scott (property owner) very accommodating. Would recommend this property to anyone wanting to get away and relax.

Stayed overnight for stargazing, super dark and excellent place with low light pollution! Very quiet and relaxing!
