**Newly built in July 2021** This gorgeous 5,000 sq. ft home sits high in the hills of the famous Mar Vista Costa Rica community BUT only a few driving minutes away from Playa Flamingo, the Flamingo Marina, Playa Potrero, and Playa Conchal.

This amazing villa is located less than 1 hour from the nearest international airport Daniel Oduber Quirós in Liberia.

Casa de Iluminación is thoughtfully designed to ensure a dream vacation with all the modern technical amenities you may need. Its features include an open-concept kitchen and living room, 5 bedrooms with en suites (including a private downstairs apartment), grill and gas range, and covered outdoor dining/lounge areas with a fire pit.
Facing westward, floor-to-ceiling windows offer golden sunset views of the infinity pool deck and the endless Pacific Ocean beyond. Wall-to-wall sliding doors open up for seamless indoor-outdoor living.

The amenities include a 24/7 security and alarm system, washer/dryer, 5 lockboxes, A/C throughout, fiber-optic Wi-Fi, and Smart Samsung TVs in every room with available apps like Netflix or Disney+.
All five bedrooms feature king beds and ensuite bathrooms:
Upstairs, the master bedroom boasts a covered balcony with a soaking tub as well as a private sun deck ideal for a private morning yoga session. Since the master bedroom has the upper floor all to itself, it, therefore, has an open, integrated, spacious bathroom with a shower room and half bath. From the master bedroom's two private balconies, you have fantastic views over the Pacific Ocean to the islands of Las Catalinas.

Back on the ground floor, to the right of the fully equipped high-end kitchen, you enter a high-ceiling bedroom with an area accessed via a staircase with two additional single beds. This room has access to the ocean-view terrace and a full en-suite bathroom.
To the left of the living area are two bedrooms, one of which has a queen-sized pull-out sofa bed (NOT DOUBLE SOFA BED) in addition to the king-size bed and an oversized TV for a movie night of sorts.

When you go from the living room through the spacious sliding doors to the ample terrace, it will take your breath away. The view across the infinity swimming pool to the sea is simply stunning. The main terrace offers you an outdoor dining area with an almost full outdoor kitchen including a BBQ, a lounge area with a fireplace, and an outdoor shower.
The downstairs apartment features an ensuite bathroom, king bedroom, kitchenette with fridge, and living area which also includes a queen-sized pull-out sofa bed (NOT DOUBLE SOFA BED). Enjoy the sunset on the sundeck of the apartment, away from the hustle and bustle of the rest of your family or group on the main terrace.

Casa de Iluminación prides itself on its luxury finishings, from the sumptuous travertine pool deck and all-new stainless-steel appliances to the wooden tables and headboards hand-crafted from the indigenous Guanacaste hardwood. Paintings and a metal entryway sculpture were custom-made by local and regional artisans.

Guests to Casa de Iluminación have access to the Mar Vista Community Amenities, which include: two lighted clay tennis courts, hiking, and biking trails, a gym, a yoga deck, 24/7 security, an ocean view clubhouse with an infinity pool, jacuzzi, swim-up bar and an amazing on-site restaurant "Gracia".

If you ever feel like taking a trip out to sea we can recommend a catamaran trip, a fishing trip from the flamingo marina, or a beach hopping trip. Our area is not called the Gold Coast of Costa Rica for nothing. Here you can head for some of the most beautiful beaches: Playa Danta, Playa Dantita, Playa de Amor & many more.

There is also a lot to discover for landlubbers. You could check out the new Flamingo Marina with a great boardwalk, shops, and restaurants. Flamingo Beach, right next to the Marina, is part of the Costa Rican Riviera and is located only 1.5 miles from the property. Flamingo boasts a beautiful mile-long white sand beach with a mild current and tide. This beach is perfect for swimming and sunning. Or you can go horseback riding at Playa Potrero, the closest beach north of Playa Flamingo.

The bustling beach town of Tamarindo Beach is located just south of Playa Flamingo and offers a huge variety of activities and a beautiful beach for swimming and surfing for beginners. Tamarindo Costa Rica also has a rich variety of restaurants, bars, and nightclubs. One of the world's most famous surfing beaches for experienced surfers is Playa Grande: only 15 minutes away by car from Mar Vista Costa Rica.

If you would like to explore the area north of Playa Flamingo, we recommend enjoying a trip to Las Catalinas Costa Rica, arriving in 20 minutes by car. Las Catalinas is a beautiful, car-free, fully walkable beach town with small streets and lovely squares with fountains in the style of old picturesque Italian villages. Restaurants and cafes along the small streets invite you to relax with a cool drink or refresh yourself with a swim in the sea of Playa Danta. Casa Chameleon at Las Catalinas is a hotel with an excellent restaurant. We recommend that you start the day here with breakfast and then linger in Las Catalinas.
