The house was great with plenty of beds to accommodate everyone. Great pool and spa with a kids play room with classic pacman game that was a great treat for the kids when they weren't in the pool. The living room was comfy and had plenty of space for everyone to gather. The dining room was also spacious and accommodated our group of 12.
We traveled with our dog so having the gate that separates the pool area from the front yard is great while the front yard is enclosed there is one small section that is not as tall so we were just cautious and didn't let our dog in the front yard unsupervised.
The kitchen was fairly well stocked but didn't have enough utensils which I communicated upon arrival and the host dropped off more the next day. It would've been helpful to receive a text when they were dropped off. The half bath's sink drained slowly and the host offered to send someone to fix it but it wasn't a big deal on our end.
Cons/Suggestions: The gas grill took too long to heat. We had a short stay otherwise we would've opted to use the bbq with charcoal.
The bunk beds and pull out sofas could use some pillowtop covers to make them more comfortable.
Pool floats/toys would be a bonus.
Something to note: The main suite has a step down into the shower and the casita shower is just cramped so something to be mindful if traveling with older folks or people with accessibility needs.
Overall, we loved our stay!

House was great. Could use some minor TLC but nothing that bothered us. Outdoor space was great. Short walk to Old Town La Quinta. When booking, the location on the map shows a different spot a few blocks away in a gated community. The actual location is better than what the map shows but they should fix that glitch.

The rental is not fancy but very versatile and a perfect location. There's lots of space and a great yard for kids to play in. The house is nicely equipped and has lots of toy/games/outdoor sports activities. The only problem at the onset was getting the pool heater to work. After several phone calls, the management company and I got the pool finally heated. We will rent again!!

Celebrated the last week of summer for our boys before school started and our mom turned 75. Great neighborhood and the house is beautiful and very clean. Perfect and plenty of room for 12 people. Had trouble getting in the property when we checked in due to wrong code but our host responded promptly when notified. Overall a great time and would definitely come back. Thank you!!

What was supposed to be a 12 member family outing unfortunately turned out to be only 5 of us. My son and his family couldn’t make it due to him coming down with Covid. So it was only me, my wife, my mom and my daughter and son-in-law. And two grandpuppies. Even though they were missed we had a very good relaxing time. The house was nice and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

We really enjoyed staying here. The property was great for our large group. Plenty of comfortable beds and space and we all enjoyed the pool/spa and ping pong table. It’s a very short walk to great restaurants as well!

We had fun in the pool! Lots of space. Very clean. Great location! A few minor things to fix…not enough bedding provided for pull out beds, loose kitchen faucet and broken drip coffee maker (luckily the keurig machine worked great). Overall, a lovely experience!

The younger adults went to Stagecoach, while the older adults played golf. This home was more than what we needed, but the location to the Stagecoach shuttle bus was excellent. Plus, we were allowed to bring our two small dogs. We had a great time staying at La Palma. The property manager was super responsive to a couple questions I had with the home. The pictures are accurate of the home. It's clean and tidy. Neighborhood is super quiet. Great large home for family gatherings.

The Jack and Jill bathroom shower did not get hot, other than that the property was great.

This house was great and the Jacuzzi was easy to use and heated up every time I needed it. The host was very responsive and great to deal with.

La Palma was the perfect size for our family and everyone enjoyed the pool and especially the hot tub. We did have some difficulties getting it to work and keeping it working but after a couple of days we did get it all figured out. The property managers were very responsive to all our inquiries and problems. We did feel the property had some maintenance issues, but we found the kitchen well stocked with dishes and cookware. Overall it was a good experience.

The air conditioning was not working and we had workman in the home for 2 days of our stay; broken leg on the bed in the casita, jets did not work on the spa from the remote in the kitchen. Overall it felt like the property was not very well maintained. The shower in the master bedroom is slippery and I fell and broke a toe the second day.

We did not have the opportunity to stay at La Quinta because there was a problem with the air conditioning. We were not notified until we were halfway to Palm Springs. We were given a choice of 4 other places by Vacanza and when we picked one, they had already booked it, so we had to choose again. We then agreed upon an amount for credit for the inconvenience and they did not issue a credit for the agreed upon amount. Then, to add insult to injury, because we had all the rules and regulations for the original house and thought we could park on the street, you couldn't at the new house and so we had to pay $420 tow fee. I sincerely hope we can come to an agreement, but it was not a great experience.

Overall good stay.
Great location- definitely walkable to downtown and quiet neighborhood. Loved the whole house was fenced in too for littles. However, we did have issues with the spa not working the whole trip which was disappointing. Also there are absolutely no kitchen and cleaning equipment. No cutting knives no chopping knives, there were soooo many flys in the house and no fly swatter. Only one kitchen towels, and no cleaning sprays or materials to clean the kitchen or table after eating or for spills. Also not enough glassware, plenty of plates. Again overall great stay and if you weren’t going to cook or clean at all it wouldn’t be a big issue. We would most likely come stay again too! Overall it was a good stay.

Thank you Vacanzastays for allowing my family and myself celebrate my dads first heavenly birthday together. The house was perfect for us and having the pool there made it way more fun for our kids. Definitely a great place to stay out in the desert.
