What a nice place. Everything we needed was provided , the owners have definitely done their job here. We will stay here again!

This was our first time to Idyllwild and we had a great experience. The cabin was spacious and had a really nice view on the deck. It was close to town and had everything we needed. Will def be back

The view from the deck is beautiful and at night the stars are magical. We came last year for our 10th anniversary and enjoyed ourselves so much we returned for our 11th. This would be a comfortable rental if you have a small family (with just us 2 there's more than enough room) Be sure to follow the provided directions & take the second Foster Lake Rd.The kitchen is great for preparing meals at the cabin & there is a cute little grocery store if you extend your stay! It's only a few minutes to town. The staff is very nice and provides helpful information regarding your stay.

The cabin was comfortable and clean with nice views . The annoyances that we encountered were two. First, if you want to do things off the mountain like visit Palm Springs/Dessert, etc. the mountain road requires very focused attention as it has more hairpin turns and curves than any mountain road I have driven. Secondly, the cabin driveway area is hilly and small making it did difficult to maneuver a larger car. If you come here when it snows, the road to the house and driveway would most probably be treacherous.

Stood here 1 year ago and glad to stay again. 4 night stay thru New Years. Cozy A-Frame, stocked kitchen, new flooring, warm beds, scenic views. We were lucky to be there during snowfall about 6 inches in 2 days. Stocked with necessities. Wish they had a grill and outdoor patio table. Was making a lasagne dish, but no baking dish, so made stovetop version instead. driveway is steep, caution during snow on top driveway. Lower pull through driveway easier access during snow.

Very comfortable setup in a beautiful location that felt secluded, yet we were only a 5-minute drive from downtown. The views were stunning, and we spent most of our days outside on the porch or inside looking at the view through the big bay windows. We will book this location again!

The cabin was really nice, the view was great and it was just far enough out of town.The staff I met were very accommodating.Be aware that the cabin is on a dirt road and it can be a little tricky to get to.

Everything about this property was truly lovely. Very clean, great neighborhood, and very true to its description! Will definitely reserve again.

All we could hear was birds and the wind in the trees. Such a relaxing and comfortable cabin - close to town and many, many great hiking spots. Would absolutely stay here again, wonderful!

The rental agent was professional and friendly.

We stayed for a couple nights and felt very comfortable there. Good furniture and bed. Especially a soak in the big tub. We had a problem with the fire starter and management company was there within minutes to provide a new one. I highly recommend this place to stay.

I always take a knife, sautee pan and spatula because i always cook on our stays and never know how stocked places are.
Pros : we liked the quiet location, the awesome view, I'd say fully stocked kitchen (large set of plates,mugs, silverware pots and pans,even bowls for our little dog. Beds were warm and comfy, hot water, woodburning stove and Heating worked great, bath/spa was nice 2 towels in each bath. We didn't use the downstairs room much, maybe in summer. Balcony/Deck is large. It was chilly so only had morning coffee outside. But the sunrise views can be enjoyed from inside the cabin too. Plenty of parking. Aero bed mattress was available.
Cons: Bathrooms have no window coverings (no neighbors behind so not a huge issue unless someone from your party is walking out back..personally with the snow out taking a bath and looking out was peaceful, just warn your people...driveway can be an issue with heavy snow,( you can ask the management for a snow shovel)and it has a lower pull through driveway. Stairs can be an inconvenience for lugging supplies . No grill outside for barbecuing which can be a bummer,(with knowing that we packed food accordingly). No birdfeed, our youngest was looking forward to it.
Suggestions: Propane or charcoal grill, set of mixing bowls, patio dining table for deck.
We would definitely stay again for a relaxing getaway anytime of year.

Driveway is a little steep, but workable. The view is magnificent! Some cookware and dishes were provided which we appreciated! Over all we enjoyed relaxing here. Not too far from town (but really, we never wanted to leave that epic mountain view!) Also the swing our front was wonderful!
