I really wanted to give a glowing review because the house is spacious, with a large peaceful yard, and only a 2-minute walk to an adorable little harbor and small beach. The truth is that were just too many shortcomings to this stay. There seemed to be no attention to detail and many things were missing or out of place. It’s as though the owner is new to renting or hasn't bene around much. It should have bene a red flag when I was told we would have no access to the owner. To make it worse, the managing company, Vacasa, is in Oregon so trying to deal with them was a train wreck; someone reading off a screen with obligatory “I’ll put in a ticket and someone will get back to you within 24-48 hours”. I’m guessing they represent thousands of vacations homes, at least have an office in New England. And to the owner, do yourself a favor by giving the business to a local property management company who can assist your guests. We arrived at 3:50 for 4pm check-in and the cleaning company was here until 5…and they did a poor job cleaning. It was very expensive and besides being a beautiful home, it fell short in many other area.

Very nice location, beautiful yard, charming house, nice kitchen and layout. The master bedroom air conditioning does not work so it was 80° in there during our stay and made for uncomfortable sleeping. Some small issues like the outdoor shower is broken, the main floor bathroom door doesn’t close. Otherwise a nice stay but I would not book this again until the ac was fixed.

Went with a group of friends to celebrate a friend’s engagement on the Cape. The place was beautifully furnished, comfortable and well-equipped! We wish we could have spent longer! Would 100% recommend.

We had a wonderful fall weekend on the cape! The home is beautifully decorated, meticulously cleaned, and has a spacious yard!

Friends and I spent a lovely vacation enjoying Cape Cod and our stay at Sea La Vie. The home is old and very authentically Cape Cod. It is fully updated and very comfortable, yet still charming and cozy. I loved the fireplace in the living room, the big comfy couch, the spacious bedrooms, the beautiful private yard, and the simple yet elegant decor. It’s quite simple the perfect spot for a Cape Cod vacation!

We have rented many houses for our family vacations. This house by far was the most beautiful, most comfortable, and absolutely stunning house we have ever stayed in. It had everything we needed for cooking and the huge open living room was perfect for all of our family to be together. I can’t say enough great things about this house. Perfect area and close to all of the little towns. Will definitely stay here again

My family of 4 (two kids under 7) visited this property and really enjoyed the property and location. Having grown up spending summers down the Cape, we knew the location and wanted to be central to Chatham, Brewster, and Harwich. This house is a stones throw to Wequasette Resort and Pleasant Bay. Although it's on a busy street, the house is set way back from the road. It is a tidy house with beautiful coastal decor and everything you need to enjoy your trip. The property manager lives close by and can pop over anytime to address your needs. The backyard is huge with plenty of space for littles ones to run around safely. We'll add the one to our list of homes to revisit.
