This lovely house is in a great location & has a wonderful backyard for hanging out once dinner is over. Very easy to check in & out. Beautiful property. Would definitely stay here again.

Very spacious corner lot. Enjoyed use of back area during bbq at night. Host provided beach towels and beach cart. Very accommodating. Nice layout of the house.

What a great rental property! Our family had an amazing vacation using this house as our base of operations. The reviews on this property were great, but I will add to the chorus. The house - great layout for relaxing and spending time together. The kitchen/dining/ living room area was very spacious and well appointing with plenty of seating. Our family spent a lot of time around the large dining table doing a puzzle each evening. Beds and linens were very comfortable. The extras are everywhere. Toys for the beach, beach towels, beach chairs, they really thought of everything. The location - amazing! You can walk to the beach but we had a 2 year old so we drove. The best beach that is close by charges for daily entry. We paid $40 for a year long pass (cheaper than doing daily entry for as long as we were there). The beach is super clean and very family friendly. Plenty of parking and lots of playground equipment. Rockport isn’t that big, so the house is close to everything else the town has to offer. Property Management - I’m not sure how they could have done a better job. We received timely info leading up to, and during our stay. Seems like they have thought of everything. We never had to reach out for an issue because the house was spotless. I have no doubt that has we needed something they would have taken care of us. We will be back for sure, a good chunk of our drive heading home was discussing when we would return. Thank you for helping us have a very memorable family vacation!

We had such a great time at the house!! Clean... Spacious and everything you could possibly need was there! Beds were so comfortable we didn't want to get out of them in the mornings! Close to the beach... Business district with lots of fun shops... And really good restaurants... We will definitely be back! Communication with owners was also great! They answered all our questions and then some.... You are making the right decision by renting here!!

Great house and property! House was nice, clean, and perfect for a weekend getaway with the family! Can’t beat the location. The owners are very responsive. The provided toys (boogie board, sand toys, fishing poles, etc.) were a nice touch. Hope to be back next summer!

We had a fantastic experience. You can’t beat the location and the house is beautiful. Owners put a lot of thought into it including beach items to borrow and lots of labels (I’m looking at you shower knob!). I even noticed a pack and play stored in a closet. Owner was extremely responsive throughout our stay. We go to Rockport every year and would 100% rent this home again.

I was looking for a place for family and friends beach trip and the Sunshine Cottage was perfect for us. Just ashort 2-3 min drive to the beach, food, and shops. Roger and Rene have everything at the house that made our stay very comfortable and relaxing. There was a cooler, beach chairs, wagon, and boogie board so we didn’t have to pack so much. I would definitely stay at Sunshine Cottage again!

Great place, lots of space. Kid friendly. If the property had a privacy fence it would have been all that more great.

My family was so happy with our stay at this home. It was clean and spacious. Soo close to the beach and nearby shopping.

The Sunshine Cottage was clean and well-stocked with towels, beach supplies, paper products, and a plethora of kitchen tools and small appliances. (My husband loved the big French press so much he bought one online the day we left.) We were impressed with the thoughtful touches like laundry and dishwasher detergent that was provided, and clocks with white noise machines in each bedroom. The layout was excellent for our two small families of four with the bedrooms split across the house (one w/bath one side, two w/bath on other side). We enjoyed all the beach toys and used the boogie boards and beach wagon many times. The home’s location couldn’t be any better: walking distance to the beach and three minutes from the grocery store. The host was communicative and even though I forgot to update our reservation from 4 to 8, was understanding and accommodating. We will absolutely stay at Sunshine Cottage again.

The owner has kept this property in perfect shape and we enjoyed it thoroughly. He went the extra mile with the house and it’s amenities. We look forward to returning in the future.

The house is spacious and well prepared for guest to have an enjoyable stay. From children to adults, everyone will enjoy staying at the house. It is conveniently located to downtown and the Rockport Beach. The kitchen is well stocked with tools to help prepare meals. The WIFI is excellent and there is a tv in every room. We appreciated the convenience of having a washer and dryer to use. We have rented several homes in Rockport, and this is the best one we have stayed in.

I have been coming to Rockport for 12 years and this is one of the best houses I have stayed at. Is is very clean great location large showers hot water great a/c. Will definitely be a repeat customer

We had a wonderful stay at this property! The location is perfect, not far from everything! The house is beautiful on the inside and very well stocked. It has everything you could need for a stay with a very well stocked kitchen, all sorts of things for the beach, a portable crib, and games for all ages! The TVs are all equipped for streaming your own app and auto log out on check out. The property managers were very prompt with every question and checked after we checked in to make sure everything was going well. Though it was too cold to use, the back porch also had a great table and firepit. We had a wonderful stay!

My group of four are all avid birders and over 65. We loved the single story house. It was an excellent place to stay.

Our stay within this beautiful home was nothing short but amazing! The location is close to all grocery stores and walking distance to the water. The home is very relaxing and the accommodations surpassed anything we expected! The host was very sweet and had constant communication with us during our stay! This home was the best home we have ever stayed in EVER! This home will not disappoint!
