Kastro has several studios, just above Damouchari gouges bay. We were 2 adults and 1 child 5 years old. The room was comfortable, sparkly cleane and has a huge balcony sea front. We stayed at the second floor. We loved the design and the facilities.
Since we were traveling a bit off season, most of the restaurants were closed and we ate and cooked breakfast and sometimes lunch at the room. The kitchen is a bit small, but we had great meals there.

The owner / manager and her 2 children are super nice, hearty, efficient and helpful. They made every effort to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The apartment is super clean, tidy, well organized and refurbished recently. The balcony is great. Damouchari beach is so charming and beautiful. There are few nice cafe's and restaurants near the beach and very close to the apartment.
The drive to Damouchari beach is pretty long. The road is winding. A lot of attention and care should be taken while driving, due to steep climbs and very winding road. Even so, the location is great.

Rooms were comfortable and very clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful but most of all the view was amazing. Perfect stay for a relaxed holiday. Totally recommend it!

The lady that owns the hotel was super nice and welcoming. She helped us with everything that we needed. She also has a supermarket so its very convenient.
The location is great, right at the beach of Damouchari you could hear the waves from the balcony.
The room was very clean and there was a big balcony you can happily eat breakfast at.
I was expecting more sea view from the balcony, the trees were blocking the view of the water. Maybe ask for a higher room.
There is no parking at the hotel, its a two minutes walk but very steep. You can drop your luggage at the hotel so this is not really a problem.

Good location, just about 1 minute from the beach. The studio was clean, the balcony is huge and we had good view to the sea. The hosts were very helpful and friendly, they have a mini market which is good to buy the necessary things.
The studio hasn't got any mosquito net, which would be necessary because of the many mosquitos. The air conditioning outside part is on the balcony on the floor, so if it is switched on, you can't use the balcony because of the heat blowing of it. There is no parking facility near the accommodation, you have to go 300 m to the parking place which is not very far, but you have to climb up about 10 floors height at the end, which is not comfy in high temperatures.

It was a beautiful location, friendly helpful staff and we felt completely looked after by the whole village. The sea was amazing and warm enough to swim even in May. Thoroughly recommend Kastro Studios.

I went to Kastro Studios with friends at the end of September. The host met us and showed us where we could park the car. She was extremely friendly and helpful. The studio we were accommodated in was spotless, and the view - just amazing! We really enjoyed having late night talks on the terrace and relax there during the day. I loved the place because it wasn't noisy at all - no clubs, no music, the right place to relax. The prices in the restaurants were cheaper than I expected and the food was delicious. I highly recommend going kayaking from Damouchari Beach to Fakistra Beach. The whole thing takes around 3-4 hours and it's worth it. The instructor was very friendly and invested a lot of time telling us stories about the place and photographing us while kayaking.
I would definitely visit Damouchari again and I recommend it to anyone who has couple of days off and would like to relax and recharge :)
