The house was perfect for our group! Spacious and clean. Had everything we needed in the kitchen! Easy access to lots of great restaurants and beaches! The pool was wonderful! The communication with the property managers was quick and very responsive! Really enjoyed our stay!

Amazing views! The house was lovely. The driveway takes some getting used to. Managers were fantastic. Next time we will plan better with their recommendations and referrals for car rental and boating reservations. Grocery delivery and cab driver were GREAT. We had a great time. Two of the bedrooms only have access to the main house by way of the pool deck and up a set of stairs. It was not a problem for us - the weather was perfect all week, but for young children it would be worrisome.

We stayed at the property for two weeks. The check in process couldn’t have gone any simpler. If there was anything, we needed the hosts were immediate to respond and take care of our needs. The location was perfect. A very short drive down to the beaches and restaurants of Long Bay. We would highly recommend this property to anybody looking for a vacation in the BVI’s.

My family had a brilliant time visiting while staying in this villa. We have been to visit Tortola 4 times and this is by far the best accommodation that we have had. The communication from the staff was excellent, things such as the hire car and taxi were organised for us so once we arrived at the airport there was not much left to sort. They were even so kind as to allow us a late check out on our final day. The views from the villa were brilliant and very close to Smugglers Cove which is a beautiful beach. Their book had helpful tips such as nearby restaurants. Nothing seemed like too much of a request and we would eagerly stay again on our next visit.

The views from this home are stunning and we had everything we needed to enjoy time with our family. We were a quick drive to Smugglers Cove for some of the most beautiful, peaceful aquamarine water ever. Nigel’s, Sugar Mill cafe, Coalpot, and Tropical Fusion were all super close. Oh, and ask for Captain Tom (Island Surf and Sail) for a perfect day out on the water snorkeling and exploring the islands.

We had a wonderful week, the villa exceeded all expectations. A beautiful view, grandchildren enjoyed the pool and we loved the nearby beaches.

When I was informed that the hotel we had reservations for would not be available (with only minor reported damage) nine months after Hurricane Irma and Maria hit, I was frantic and booked here. So I was concerned about the true condition of the property (and the island) and the representations if the old hotel wasn't even available. In addition, the lack of any visitor comments about any place made me feel that everyone else knew something that I did not know. I spoke with Sam and JC, (the managers), and had my concerns addressed, and I must say, was I ever wrong to ever be concerned! This place is fantastic. You see no material issues with the hurricane, there are not piles of litter or otherwise issues. It's almost as if the hurricane never hit this property or the immediate area. The property is gorgeous, and the views shown are the true views. The place has high ceilings that give it an airy feeling. The managers are super and always available. The description was accurate, and if anything, underplays the villa. The kitchen is fully equipped and furnished with everything that you need. The layout maximizes the view. The roads are regular BVI roads, it is only the last 1/4 mile that is unpaved (was before, still is). When you come in, they will bring you in on the upper road. We used the lower road to get in and out afterwards as it was not as steep, but a little bit bumpier. The upper road is shown to you because the lower road could be muddy if you have a major rainstorm. 4WD is not required but helps. We purchased groceries at Bobby's Market in Road Town and they have a super selection, just like a major grocery store in the USA. RiteWay is also a great choice. Go to the main stores in Road Town vs. the small local market for a better selection. There is a backup generator that was used once when a power line blew a fuse. It started by itself and was very quiet, not what I was expecting. We were not inconvenienced in the slightest. (I know now that I should have phoned the manager as soon as it occurred!) Considering this area was hit with 230+ MPH winds, it has recovered well after 9 months. The greenery is all coming back, and the citizens have really pulled themselves up by the bootstraps. Of course it has a ways to go (come on, its only been 9 months!), but I highly recommend coming to Tortola and the BVI, and especially Flamingo Sunset. There is no reason to delay, the island has and will rebound.

We had a wonderful time. The Villa was so nice. We were able to enjoy the vacation and also cook for ourselves. Made for a wonderful experience.

Thanks to a great rental agency team, we booked and enjoyed a week at this big, new villa overlooking smugglers bay, with views that go on forever. The house was well appointed and well supplied with everything needed. Big, airy rooms, nice pool. The rental agents were very available for any question. I definitely recommend this villa for 4 - 8 people. The road that the house is on is sketchy, so definitely get a jeep from Jerry's Rental. Driving on the island is challenging. The only down-side to the villa, is that the indoor-quality tiling throughout is the same both inside and outside, which becomes VERY slippery (and dangerous) on outside and poolside areas when wet.

This review is quite late, but it was overlooked. Our stay was May 6-15, 2015. The location of the villa is ideal. Smugglers cove is down below. You could walk about half a mile along an unpaved road to arrive at the idyllic beach. The views are outstanding from the villa. If you are visiting during hot and humid months, air conditioning is very nice to have. On the contrary, this villa is not the open concept you see in many traditional Caribbean villas with ample outdoor living space. We would have liked some comfortable outdoor furniture on the terraces beyond dining chairs. We found the dining chairs not to be ideal for lounging on the upper deck. There are also a few loungers by the pool that you might see at Costco. Likewise, seating in the living area is minimal at best. The sectional sofa was not adequate for the three of us to relax and enjoy a movie. The kitchen is adequate, but stocked with just the basics for cooking. A chef would be wanting for cookware. I do realize the villa was new last year, so this may continue to improve. Beds are comfortable. Linens are good. The management of the villa left a little to be desired. We had four days with significant disruptions with workers: half a day for lawn crew (understandable, but four hours including the lunch break right outside the front door? Very unprofessional), half a day to fill the cistern which ran out during our stay (this should be on a check list), another day of visits to repair an air conditioner that was known to have issues, and finally the pilot light was not relit after the cistern was refilled. I just had way too many issues to deal with on vacation, most of which could have been prevented by diligent management and a more professional lawn service. The villa manager and all workers were very friendly! We really enjoyed the location and Smugglers beach. Tortola is a nice island, although lacking in good restaurants like you find in the French islands. I am not saying this is a bad villa, but I would not return based on the many villas I have booked over the years.

We had absolutely fantastic time in Tortola. The villa, Flamingo Sunset, was very lovely and met all our needs: spotless clean, fully functional gourmet kitchen with all necesseties, very nice bathrooms, comfortable beds, and interesting design. The kids loved the full size warm smimming pool that was kept in impeccable condition. The villa has 2 very large patios with a breathtaking view of the Caribbean sunset. There was a great selection of books and DVDs at the villa. We didn't get a chance to watch anything on TV, because everyone enjoyed being outside so much. But the best part of all, of course, the white sand beaches with clear turquoise coloured water. This was our first time in BVI and we were endlessly amazed by the colour and warmth of the water. We swam with snorkeling gear and observed beautiful coral reefs with various types of fish and sea creatures. The closest beach from the villa is about 5 -8 min walk and is very well kept and has its own small coral reef. It was by far the most relaxing and rejuvenating vacation and we will come back.

This was a surprise, how nice and clean everything would be. It was top notch in quality bedroom amenities, the decks, patios and views were wonderful. Only negative was that darn couch. There was 5 of us and so we had to have a movie night and lots of late not chats, the couch is a bummer. The good news if you just stay out on beautiful patios and decks you never have to visit in living area, but that isn't realistic. We loved this place and have told many on our travels it was best place to stay, and awesome place to experience a tropical storm!

We were a party of 4 adults and 3 teenagers to Flamingo Sunset for spring break. The spot could not have been better - the kids enjoyed their downstairs space and the pool. The back porch was ideal for both watching the beautiful sunsets and enjoying coffee in the morning. The location on the island proved to be perfect for us - close to Smugglers Cove and Long Bay Beach, short ride to Sopers Hole for shopping and catching our charter boat. We would definitely recommend Flamingo Sunset and Tortola!

This is an amazing property. It has spectacular views and every modern amenity one could ask for. The home is so open and comfortable that all nine of us had plenty of space and privacy. Not to mention the breathtaking sunsets! We would definitely go back again!

I recently vacationed at Flamingo Sunset Villa and it was truly indeed a Paradise Vacation. It is situated on Tortola BVI West End, with scenic views and gorgeous sunrises and sunsets, plus it is minutes from Smugglers Cove and Long Beach. Brand new villa with beautiful views of the island, just like the photos display. Infinity Pool and section of BVI was secluded without lots of tourists, definitely a beautiful family vacation and group vacation...very romantic, relaxing and truly inspiring!!! Definitely well worth it!

My wife, family and I (six adults and seven grandchildren) had a delightful stay at this rental on Tortola. We had previously stayed at other villas on Tortola and this far exceeded those. The spacious rooms, fine furniture, fine bathes and kitchen and the swimming pool were all luxury level and right at your fingertips. Particularly, with a large group such as ours, the large living room, dining room and decks provided lots of space for individual activity. The views from the decks are spectacular and invite one to just sit and look. Two excellent swimming beaches are within walking and short driving distance and neither have more than a few people. The kitchen provided ample room for group activity in preparing Thanksgiving Dinner. All this is complemented with the amenities that Tortola offers, world class sailing, snorkeling/diving/trips to adjacent islands/fine dining. I strongly recommend this rental for a stay in the British Virgin Islands.

The gorgeous sunset and ocean views from the pool and balconies are awe inspiring and will take your breath away. Two beaches are within walking distance.... I find both perfect for a seaside picnic, a swim and snorkeling that can make your experience even more magnificent. Local shopping, businesses and eateries are not far and are convenient. My family and I stayed in this villa for the week of Thanksgiving. We were so pleased and will most certainly go again! The villa itself is gorgeous; beautifully furnished with luxurious bedding and a fabulous kitchen. We ate on a beautiful outdoor deck overlooking what has to be the best views on the island! I mean, stunningly gorgeous views. The online pictures do not do them justice! There were quite a few children with us and they were able to play boisterously in the pool. Most pools in the villas we have enjoyed have been really small; this one is very large. I was able to take a 5-10 minute walk every day to either of the two beaches that are close and there was awesome snorkeling right off the shore on both of them. The villa is high enough off the beach to see the amazing views and get a wonderful breeze, but still close enough to hear the waves. And is in a quiet area of Belmont Estates, so was very peaceful. And we were a party of 15 so I was worried about how crowded it would feel, but the spaciousness of the floor plan and the different levels of the villa easily accommodated our party comfortably. I can't recommend this villa enough. My family loves Tortola and will most certainly be visiting again soon. It is undoubtedly our favourite Caribbean island. This will be the first villa I seek out when we return.

This was my first visit to the island and I must say that staying here made it one of the best trips I have had. The house is new and modern with all first class amenities. The rooms are clean and comfortable with more than enough space for you and your luggage. The restrooms are well kept and the showers clean. The kitchen is not your typical kitchen. It is more in line with a chefs kitchen with all new appliances. We had absolutely no issue having enough space to prepare multiple meals for the large family we had with us. The living areas are comfortable and cable TV is available throughout. Outside is where you will truly be in paradise with a large balcony with a large pool below. On the balcony is a table large enough to serve dinner. While on the patio you will view the ocean waves and islands surrounding Tortola. The view is to the west giving you the most romantic and beautiful sunsets you can imagine. While you never need to leave the house, the beach is a walk down the hill to the beach where you can swim, snorkel or simply soak up the rays. If you chose to go adventuring you can reach all parts of the island easily. If you are looking for the perfect place to stay in Tortola I would say this would be it.
