This adorable house was perfect for a quiet weekend getaway with my hubby! We were greeted by a choir of barking sea lions which was quite fun and funny! The house was VERY clean! The kitchen was very impressive and appreciated! We did a bit of cooking but you could def cook for a family for a long stay no problem with all the cooking supplies! Very much loved the coffee grinder, plethora of beans, etc as well! They left frozen pizza in the freezer which we definitely took advantage of haha!! We loved the big dining table and eating our meals as we looked out at the water. We spent lots of time lounging on the couch! The master bathroom was very nice. The master bedroom was comfy, we loved the view from up there! We didn’t go outside much as it was raining most of the time but I was able to go out and take some gorgeous pics when the sun finally decided to come out for a few hours and we did get to enjoy the hot tub which was lovely and very clean. We would love to come back in the summer with the grandkids to enjoy the outdoor area more, kyaks, etc! The hosts were VERY quick to respond to messages! We had a very comfortable stay! The house was perfect and provided everything we needed and more. We visited the Olympic National Park, Mt Rainier, kayaked a little, enjoyed a dip in the cool water at the canal, and enjoyed the hot tub for our semi sore muscles after all the hiking! The outdoor kitchen area was put to use as well as the amazing indoor kitchen! The view was spectacular!

This house has something for everyone. I had my 7 year old nephew with us and he had a blast. Although house is very nice it felt very comfortable. He stayed busy the whole time. Between the beach and the yard and the house. My personal favorite thing about this house was the master suite. Very relaxing. We saw birds, crabs, seals and this morning we even heard an elk bugling. Next time I hope I can stay longer to enjoy the kayaks.

This home on hood canal is one of our favorite rentals. This is our second time staying here and we will be back for a third. The view is beautiful and the owner are extremely nice and helpful!

The home and the property were both very clean, comfortable, and simply lovely all around. The hosts are phenomenal at communicating and ensuring everything is just right for your stay. I don't often leave reviews, but I certainly felt that others should know this is a great place to stay and relax.

Loved the chefs kitchen and spa like master bath. Detailed instructions anywhere you might be wondering how something might work made everything simple and trouble free.

This house is beautiful, comfortable, and clean! We stayed for four nights and didn't want to leave. We would spend our days exploring the area or hiking (there are many close trails close by). We would spend our evenings relaxing in the hot tub and sitting off the water sipping wine while watching the birds and harbor seals. The hosts left us a wonderful welcome basket with wine and snacks, which was so thoughtful and nice. They were quick to answer questions and very helpful. We hope to come back again some day!

What you see in photos is 100% accurate: spotlessly clean, stylish, and comfortable. We enjoyed everything: cooking inside and out, eating inside and out, playing on the beach, relaxing in the hot tub. Wonderfully convenient to Hama Hama Oysters and Staircase NPS.

The house was very well appointed. We Had everything we needed in the kitchen, games and toys for kids, kayaks. The furniture and appliances were all very good quality. We had a great time barbecuing, kayaking, hiking and relaxing in the jacuzzi at the end of the day. Thanks for sharing your beautiful house with us.

My family (2 adults, 3 kids) had a great time here. The house is fantastic and has everything you need for a perfect vacation! We even saw orcas from the deck! Had a great time at the Olympic National Forrest and Hama Hama! The communication with Suzanne and Christian was fantastic. We would happily stay here again!

We absolutely loved our stay and our only regret was having to leave! The entire house top to bottom is beautifully appointed. If you enjoy to cook you will love both the indoor and outdoor kitchens! My kids LOVED the kayaking right off the property and the broader surrounding area is just beautiful! Next time we will book for longer as there was more to see and more to simply enjoy at the house!

This was one of the best rentals we have stayed in. Beautifully decorated, kitchen fit for a chef, and a spa-like bathroom perfect to retreat to after a day full of hiking. We went to Lilliwaup with the intent of hiking in Olympic National Park. Due to the house’s close proximity to Staircase Rapids trail, we started our journey there-one of the best hikes in the park. This home turned out to be just what our family needed after hiking and driving all day. Coffee on the deck in the morning while watching the sun rise over Hood Canal, or a drink in the evening after a long day with the most amazing view was the icing on the cake. Our kids loved the hot tub and looking for crabs on the beach. I would recommend this home to anyone and want to come back next time to do nothing but sit on the deck and take in the extraordinary view. The area is quiet, and not busy. The hosts were fantastic with communication, went above and beyond with any possible needs, stocked the house with family games and essentials that are becoming more rare at VRBO’s, and immediately answered any questions we had. Love love love this home.

Everything about our stay here was wonderful. The home was great with the outdoor kitchen, the hot tub, and with the available kayaks which were perfect for paddling the canal. Everything was well stocked, and whatever minor issues we had were immediately addressed by the owners making things extremely easy for our family. It was very comfortable and incredibly relaxing. We definitely will be coming back to stay again.

We had a great time. The house was very clean and well equipped with everything we needed, even wood and lighters for the fire pit outside:) , games for the kids, kayaks (we did not use because of the weather but they looked brand new), a huge gas grill outside in a covered area also with a table for 12. Communication with the owner was great, very responsive and attentive. The area is beautiful, watching the lows and tides throughout the day is hypnotizing, the water level changes by more than 7 feet in a matter of hours Just outside the property. The neighborhood is a bit crowded (houses are very close to each other) but the owners did a great job making it feel private. I would definitely recommend this property for a family vacation! We loved it!

Everything was better than I could have imagined.

The interior of this home will wow and the outdoor space is equally enjoyable. We loved the heated concrete floors and the spacious living area. The master had an amazing view of the water and the bathroom is spa like. The hosts were very communicative and the snack basket waiting for us was a very nice touch. We had the most lovely weekend here! This house is just as promised in the listing, if not better. Super clean, well stocked and thoughtfully designed. The views are stellar. The master suite feels very luxurious and cozy. The hot tub was clean and hot. The hosts were very pleasant and easy to communicate with. You will not be disappointed! We hope to return to this special spot in the warmer months.

The town/community was a little too quiet for my liking. The house was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed many family breakfast/lunch/ dinner with a spectacular view.

We had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful home for a three night stay over the holidays. They made us feel so welcomed (beautiful welcome basket), and at home. Had some snow, enjoyed the hot tub nightly, loved using their gourmet kitchen, the upstairs bath tub is blissful. Hama Hama Oyster Saloon is about 6 mins away - you have to try it! We can’t wait to come and visit in the summer months.

A very special house to celebrate an after almost 2 years due covid family reunion and a birthday. Champagne in the hot tub would have been fun but sadly we had a glitsch with the circuit breaker. Access to the private beach to look for oysters washed up after the storm would also have been fun too but the steps were treacherous!The house is a cozy haven and the weekend was not long enough.We will return and wish Suzanne and Christian all the best in their new venture. PS: Instead of the beach, try oysters from Hama Hama. Booking for one of their under Cover seating booths is essential.
