Check in was cumbersome, platform is difficult to navigate. Property was just right for my husband and I to enjoy a long weekend get away, though minor issues found when we arrived (had to wash dishes prior to use as they were visibly soiled; propane tank on grill was almost empty causing us to have to use oven - but the burners need adjusting, and there was smoke/soot produced and the smoke alarms went off even with all the windows and door opened; towels were damp, as if they had not finished their cycle in the dryer - smelled freshly washed). We reached out via the chat function on the platform they used to manage check in and check out, however no one even acknowledged the message. Nothing was so urgent to necessitate calling/texting. Despite these small inconveniences, the space was neat and cozy on a nice quiet street. Reasonable drive to store, restaurants, hiking trails.

Overall we liked the property. It was not properly cleaned when we arrived so we did have to do some housekeeping, but nothing crazy. There were very limited linens, and no papertowels, or enough bathroom tissue. The shower leaked a brown muddy liquid when you used the shower and due to the limited linens was challenging to clean up. Also the bed was just laying on the floor so it kept moving making the evenings sleep at times uncomfortable. During our stay the CO detector went off within moments of turning on the stove and continued to go off for about 30 or so minutes. It only stopped after we opened all the windows and turned on the air conditioner. we had to eat on the steps outside due to the naseau caused by the CO. The management did repsond but we did not feel they had any sense that this was a health concern. This delayed us going to an event that night which we had planned to stop off prior to for dinner and were unable overall not the best experience. did like the location, and design. we were concerned for our health with the CO issue that happended so quickly after turning on the stove Would not recommend the property under current circumstances

It was my boyfriend birthday and we decided last minute to go on a mini trip to the Catskills. Luckily, we found this beautiful cottage available during the days we wanted to stay there. The owners were quick to respond and approved our stay right away which we are grateful for because it was so short notice. They constantly messaged us to make sure our check in process went smoothly and that we were comfortable during our stay. The place is very clean and neat and we would definitely recommend this place to anyone that wants to take a trip upstate New York.
