New facilities and nice amenities

Grumpy stuff. breakfast was non existent - out of eggs, potatoes, and sausage was really strange.

There was a spider in my bed

we were unable to stay after booking the room due to our room was also for guest with pets. my husband is allergic to dogs. we tried to get a refund and the manager has not called me back. it was very very upsetting. I would like for a manager to call me back and a refund.

we had to go through 5 rooms and all were not clean and so the lady at the front desk just asked us to take a refund and leave!

Less than a year old, very modern styling and decor starting with the lobby and all common areas, and including the room. Breakfast was plentiful and well-stocked with hot foods and both hot and cold beverages.

The same modern styling in the breakfast dining area made it feel cold and sterile. Actually, being a chilly morning and having an exterior exit door just a few steps away, it was significantly colder in the area. I prefer cozy to chilly for morning dining. There was no guide for navigating through TV watching, and although there was a YouTubeTV button on the remote, it did not access that streaming media.

Brand new, super-clean. Lots of towels and pillows. Breakfast was good as well.

Too many unattended children in the pool area, roughly 20 kids in the pool and hot tub but not a single adult. Not the hotel’s fault, but a disappointment as we would have liked to relax in the pool for a bit.

Breakfast was nicely presented and tasty. At least one staff member was always present seeing that there was plenty of eggs, bacon, potatoes, fresh fruit etc.

There was only one ice machine which was on the first floor. That seemed inconvenient for me being on the 4th floor.

Decor was nice, fresh, modern in good taste. Staff was awesome. Room was clean, comfortable. Bed was great, nicely firm and pillows were way above usual hotel stock. Breakfast area was okay, but hey it's free, not IHOP!

Entrance is a little tricky but if you pay attention it isn't a problem. Biggest complaint was the control head in the shower. Think they could have thought that one through a little better. Not much fun to have to step into the water flow BEFORE you can adjust the temp. and the pressure just plain ol' socks, no other way to put it.

Location. Now that I’ve stayed in Amarillo a couple of times, prefer the west side of town. Although the place is new, there were 2 homeless men in the parking lot. There seemed to be just one employee and would’ve like to see security.
