Maison entièrement renouvelée avec soin, chambre confortable avec machine à café à l'intérieur, salle de bain très propre avec grande douche. Position exceptionnelle, près de la Bibliothèque. Personnel très gentil. Je recommande la petit-déjeuner avec produits maison.
J'aurais aimé un bouilloire pour préparer un thé ou une tisane avant d'aller me coucher. Les horaires peuvent être contraignants (pas de check-in avant 17 heures).

Les produits proposés étaient de qualités, salés et sucrés, jus d'oranges confitures riz au lait gaufres et pain brioché tout ceci fait maison et servi dans un joli service.
La pièce décorée avec goût comme toute la demeure
Un petit fond de musique pour nous accompagner dans notre dégustation, et le propriétaire très disponible et spontané, aucun chichi.

This is a wonderful place to stay. Every detail is considerate from the bathrobes and slippers to the freshly squeezed orange juice, warm croissants at breakfast. The house oozes style with mid-century furnishings and house plants adding sophistication to a historic building of lovely proportions. The location is perfect, next to the Museum of Beaux Artes (well worth a visit) and a short walk to all the sites. Our host was warm and welcoming. We felt he was pleased to share his beautiful home.
Everything was lovely. Most of the restaurants in town are unsophisticated but friendly. We will try the Michelin starred restaurant next time we visit. We hope to come back soon.

Very artfully furnished and I felt very well provided for. Small touches can make all the difference, and a great deal of thought has gone into guests’ requirements. Local produce at breakfast and an attentive host.
I was a able to place my motorcycle inside the building entrance, which gave me great peace of mind.
Difficult to find anything to criticise in this hotel. I felt very at home. I am not sure why there was a bamboo ladder in the bathroom, but that is a very minor decoration question 🙂

The only reason not to give this beautiful property 10/10 is the fact it does not have Air conditioning in the bedrooms.

Exceptionally good. Our host was extremely pleasant and interesting. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast good with a varied selection. Location was fine and near to restaurants. We would certainly stay again.

This character house has a magnificent decoration, designed with very good taste. Big comfortable room with its own character. The sympathetic owner helps you in finding the right eating and drinking spots. Great breakfast and safe place to stall our bikes.
Cambrai is a very interesting and nicely restored town, but the streets are full of dog poo and cigarette budds, so take care where you put your feet.

The hotel is located in a lovely period building in a quiet area, yet within a short walk to shops and restaurants. The interior is beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean, our room was elegant and the overall atmosphere was charming. Jean, our host was incredibly friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent.
