Super clean, comfortable and homely. The staff were amazingly helpful and friendly. The kitchen was well organised clean which made it easy to make meals. There was a movie room and the free tea and coffee was a great bonus. I found it easy to walk to where ever I wanted to go. And what a view of the sunset! Would stay here again for sure.

Everything was absolutely perfect, really, beyond initial expectation. The staff was super friendly and cooperative and were clearly motivated and inspirational. thank you for this wonderful experience! I will definitely choose Wandrerhjem next time.

Good location, quiet place, nice with free tea

Uncomfortable bed. Didn't get mluch sleep.

The kitchen Facilities are amazing. You`ll save a lot of money if you know how to cook. The common area is a great place to hang out and there is also a bus stop 100 meters away. The staff is really helpful and loving in nature. Overall, A Great play to stay. Surely, If I want to visit again I`ll prefer Trondheim Vanderhjem

I have seen hostels on all continents of this world (consider an Antarctic Station very similar to a hostel), but what I found in Trondheim was new. When I wanted to sheet my blanket, I found a black/brown crust stain flaking off. No idea what it was, but obviously, I changed my blanket and found an old paper towel in the next bed. So that was the bedroom, then I went to the kitchen and saw a free food shelf. Cool thing, but stuff should be cleaned out when past date, especially when it is single slices of flat bread, that looked like ancient Egyptian papyrus. Not to mention the 1 month past hamburgers in the fridge. Combine that with missing kitchen towels despite a fine for not cleaning up and a missing shower curtain. So all in all the hostel looked really neglected and not cared about, besides the hygienic problems and also the missing COVID19 measures. A hostel that costs nearly 500 NOKs (50 USD), should do better. If I had this situation in a 5 USD hostel in Paraguay, OK, but not in Norway and not for this price.
