We had the best stay with this VRBO. It was definitely a mix of friends/family with adult (20yr old+) college roommates, lifelong friends and their parents. The house has plenty of sleeping room that no one had to share a bed. There were a few issues when we checked in caused by previous guests, but the owner took care of thing’s immediately even while he was on vacation himself. It is ashame that some people don’t respect the property of others and will do whatever and not report it to the owner, where someone else can get the blame. Only minor things after that that didn’t disrupt our stay. People were coming and going all week, but it was a perfect place for all of us. I love that it is pet friendly too. Four bathrooms were great and having the beds already made was a bonus! So many bonuses with this house. You’ll have to rent it to find out! Another great thing about the property was the “carport” area underneath the house. The breeze through there is so relaxing. I look forward to renting again.

Property Manager is wonderful. Great communication and lovely home. Location is perfect. Quick walk to the beach, restaurants and grocery. Bedrooms and bathrooms to accommodate many guests. The outside deck is perfect for fishing and grilling. We highly recommend and hope to stay there again. Thank you!

Loved the location, plenty of space for our family. Grandsons loved fishing off the back deck. Chris was very quick to respond to any of my questions.

We had a great time this week at Fishin’ in the dark! Chris was great to host our family, communication throughout the trip checking in to see if we needed anything. Just a quick walk to the beach and plenty of beds for everyone to spread out! The men and kids loved fishing off the back deck. We grilled out 2 nights. The house was in a good location with a short walk to beach. Didn’t have much cookware and the front yard needed some work, grass was high and full of weeds. Beds weren’t comfortable and the back deck was missing the dock that’s pictured. Owner was nice though and house had plenty of room for two families and my mom.

Had a five-day stay at this property with a big group. Couldn’t have asked for a smoother experience as Chris was super accommodating and helpful. The house was extremely pleasant and I’d recommend this spot to anyone looking for quality in a great location.

This is about as close as you can get to the beach without paying beach front rental prices. Location was awesome as well as this newly renovated house. Chris was very communicative and helpful. I would rent this house again.

Our family had a wonderful stay in this home. The location couldn’t have been any better. The home was cozy and had everything we needed. The host was a pleasure to work with!

First off I would like to say that Chris was exceptional with communication during and prior to our stay. The house was more than enough space for myself and my friends. Not only was it enough space, but the house was even better than the pictures advertised. The place looked brand new and could not be cleaner. The lake on the back side of the house was the most spectacular view of Myrtle that I saw. The deck and balcony were perfect spots in the evening to hang out and watch the sun go down with more than enough seating and table space for all of us. House was clean and beautiful. In a great location. The host is a great guy and very easy to get a hold of.

Chris was communicative prior to check-in and during our stay. We had a blast here. The house was clean and spacious for our large family. There was plenty of space for everyone to lounge in the living room and the location is a minute's walking distance to the public beach and very close to a good spot for fishing at the pier. My brother loves to fish, so he enjoyed fishing there. This was our first family trip, and we couldn't have picked a better spot to accommodate 16 people and my dog. I love that it's pet-friendly! I recommend staying here. Chris is super friendly and nice.

This house was perfect! Very clean, all modern and great amenities, and the property owner was super easy to work with! The location was superb - fished off the back dock into a small bay and then a super short walk to the beach - less than 2 minutes! Wil definitely stay again. The under area on the deck had a perfect setting for grilling and hanging out too! Highly recommend!

We booked this home with short notice due to our son’s military leave and boy did we find a gem! I don’t think we would have found a better home if we had months to book our trip. We had an amazing vacation and were blessed to find this home and location! This house accommodated our large family of twelve comfortably! The home was pristine with ample space for all of us. There was enough sleeping room for everyone, and no one was crowded. The great room was roomy and comfortable and a suitable place to relax, watch a movie, and play games. The location was the best! Less than a block to the beach and pier with easy public access. We wheeled Grandma in her rented beach wheelchair with ease. It was wonderful being so close to the ocean. The house supplied plentiful beach items including chairs, towels, and a cart for easy beach going. Stores and restaurants were within walking distance as well. The lake view was phenomenal, and the outdoor patio furniture was wonderful to soak in the breeze and relax. Our family enjoyed grilling out several times and there was plenty of room outdoors or indoors to eat. The boys (and girls) enjoyed fishing off the dock as well. Chris was a wonderful host and made checking in/out run smoothly. He was attentive and prompt to all our questions and needs. We could not have asked for a better experience and owner! We definitely will plan to visit again!
